Really lovely bar, great atmosphere, attentative bar staff and superb cocktails. Throughly recommend the black sapphire cocktail.

My partner Gail and I had been looking forward to going to T. P. S. for some time and we weren't disappointed.
We started with 2 Portobello Road G and T 's ( well it seemed rude not to), but we were soon discussing various gins/tonics with the staff and the bar staff were more than happy to let you try a small sample before buying.
We were shown around the new hotel rooms and the shop at the end of our visit.
Friendly knowledgeable staff and expertly made drinks in an excellent environment.....what more could a body ask for!

Sometimes you just really need a drink. Like when you forget your suitcase in the overhead bin on a plane and hope to God it gets returned to you because, you know, just your life is in there. A shot of vodka, or the bottle would just about calm your nerves. But most times, you just really want a drink. A craft cocktail, G&T or a glass of wine after a long day at work. Just a little something delicious to wind down in the company of friends. But gone are the days where Sex on the Beach was acceptable, and hello to an avid interest in spirits and methods for building cocktails. Sure, you can sit around and watch YouTube clips on how to make a Negroni 101, 10 steps to becoming a gin connoisseur, or even visit a vineyard in Bordeaux. But who would want to do that when you can learn all the tricks of the trade on Portobello Road?
Portobello Star in Notting Hill has been a great bar for lovers of gin ever since opening it’s doors in 2008. Owner Jake Burger (Jack’s Bar, Leeds) not only created a fantastic gin bar, but also used the premises as the home for his own brand of gin, Portobello Road Gin.
Great place for cocktails and gins. Multiple options of gins & tonics with great serves and expertise staff that helps you to recommend what suits for you. We had Martin Millers, Portobello Road, Xoriguer, Botanist and Ophir all of them were great. The place is popular during weekends and afterwork hours.
Great bar in the heart of Notting Hill. Huge gin selection but the other cocktails are also excellent. I really like the vibe here, feels buzzing but also not too loud and quite intimate.

A really nice chilled out bar to go to especially when it’s 2-4-1 during happy hour. Staff are friendly and lovely cocktails too. Nice little place for a cheeky cocktail! It was a bit quiet if you’re going on a Tuesday night like we did but it meant we could have a conversation and hear each other.
Fantastic experience at the Portobello Star. Great selection and knowledge, friendly atmosphere and wonderfully crafted drinks. The prices were not extortionate by any stretch for the quality on offer. Left to go somewhere else and ended up back for more an hour later.
We tried 3 different cocktails, all of them were great! The prices are quite high, around 10£ for a cocktail, so come during the happy hours at 4pm.
Great Music...Once they put on an Hendrix's song that blew my mind...nice cheecks around. .I never pay for a drink..Some pics 4 ya..
Delice de Paris .. A little gem in Portobello, delicous cakes freshly baked onsite. Beautiful decor felling like your in Paris suburbs. Friendly staff 😀
Incredible cocktails (unique flavours, blends and options that they have curated themselves) and a good vibe all around. Set in the heart of Notting Hill, this cocktail bar is one of my favourites in London.
The happy hour pricing is the best time to head there, if you're cost conscious (although everyone would probably have the same idea so it could get crowded). It doesn't have a lot of seating but if you get a spot, it's an absolute delight.
Debra, the mixologist / waitress, always fills us with so much joy and makes us try new cocktails and shots and I've always left the place feeling considerably happier than I did before I walked in.
The staff are really friendly and attentive. The drinks are a bit pricy. 2 for 1 cocktails until 7pm is a good offer but not many cocktails to choose from, great if you like gin but could do with a more diverse selection. The ambience is cozy and decent for a chat above the noise. It's a nice vibe.
A very lovely bar, the cocktails were great and reasonably priced (for a London bar). In addition to that, the service was fast and friendly despite it being a busy Friday night. The fact that they had a table already cleaned and decorated with a candle light upon arrival (without having a table reserved) was very impressive and a testament to how the organised and hard working the staff are. My girlfriend and I will definitely be returning!

My London friend brought me to this lovely place. I love the rustic vintage decorations and lively atmosphere. It was an interesting experience for me as my first time to London.
I enjoyed the vibes, my drink was absolutely delicious, its the best mojito that I have ever tasted. The service staff and bartender was very friendly. I look forward to be back!
