We moved away from the area in 1984 when we got married. We've been renovating the old family home and popped in for dinner, after a hard days work. What a lovely place :) The staff are lovely, the food is wonderful traditional Italian, just the way we remember it from our many many visits to Italia. Perfecto :)

Best Italian food I've had in London easily. Still thinking about the truffle tagliolini

Lovely Italian Restaurant in Blackheath. The food at Le Querce is so fresh, they bake their own organic bread, make fresh ravioli and gnocchi (absolutely delicious) and some crazy flavoured ice creams.

We are an Italian family and really didn't expect to find such a good Italian restaurant so close to where we live, we went to the one in Blackheath and have booked to go back for a party of 20 in 3 weeks time, they have a room upstairs for private parties. It's my mother in law's 80'th birthday and we were going to have the party at home or Afternoon Tea at The Ritz, but the food, service and value for money is so good at Le Querce we've decided to go there instead.

If you're looking for authentic, fresh, delicious Italian food then this is the place for you.

Yummy. Really enjoyed our meal here on a Tuesday evening- was surprisingly busy.

Starters were quite expensive so my husband and I shared some delicious bresaola, which had been cured at the restaurant.

For our mains we each had pasta which was reasonably priced at under £10 each. Very good and authentic.

For dessert we enjoyed three scoops of homemade ice cream and sorbet each- these were really good and included some unusual flavours which were well balanced.

It was a very good meal and reasonably priced. great local restaurant.

Good food, gluten free friendly. We ate at Le Querce last Saturday and really enjoyed it. I had GF pasta with meat sauce with GF bread, seabass wih roasted veg and 6 different sorbets (they have lots of sorbets and icecreams to choose from, including some unusual ones!). My partner (who can eat anything) had calamari salad, lasagne and shared my sorbet with me.

Very good, scores highly for high quality, simple dishes exquistely prepared and perfectly cooked. There's always an interesting and changing range of ice-creams for dessert (eg garlic, banana and mustard, rose petal). Highly reccomended.

The food was delicious, the service was friendly and you felt like you were at an Italian family’s (albeit a large family!) home. After eating our meal, there was no pressure for us to leave as we sat chatting over the remainders of our Prosecco. I would highly recommend Le Querce for an experience of authentic Italian dining and at a reasonable price too.

We ordered the Carasau, Prosciutto e Formaggio as a starter to share. My eyes lit up when the generous board of Parma ham, grilled cheese and Sardinian flatbread arrived.

I live in walking distance and we've been dozens of times over the years, a local treasure for sure. Roberto takes good care of you, my favourite is either the fresh pasta ragu or a delicious thin, crispy pizza. They also often have good fish options on the specials menu.

The ravioli and polenta dishes were out of this world! Everything else was very good. The range of ice creams and sorbets were delightfully unique (e.g garlic!) yet somehow they worked. Highly recommend.

This is a local Italian/ Sardinian restaurant with a fixed price menu, seasonal choices, changing specials very well cooked and presented. Excellent choice of home-made icecreams. It reinvented itself over lockdown very successfully.

One of the - if not the - best local restaurant in this neighbourhood, in my opinion. The food is always gorgeous, freshly made and inventive with a long list of daily specials, and the home made ice cream and sorbets are worth a visit themselves! Lovely staff, good value set prices for 2 or 3 courses - every time I leave I'm planning my next visit! Nice little deli section as well.

Lovely family-run restaurant, had a great early Sunday dinner here & our daughter was served straightaway. Highlights included fresh sardines, delicious pasta ragu with home-made tagliatelle, very tasty Dolcelatte pizza & wheat free chocolate cake with their own vanilla ice cream, other tasty flavours were tried too. Friendly patron & excellent service.

Our favourite restaurant of all time! So happy they have reopened, although their new deli next door has been amazing during the pandemic. They have crispiest pizza at weekends and the tastiest seafood. The sardinian white wine and ice cream are amazing too. A great family atmosphere and always friendly with kids.

I am usually very skeptical about restaurants in the area. Le Querce did not disappoint. The manager is Italian and was very welcoming. The wine is probably one of best wines I ever had in London. The raviolis and the apple tart were really good as well and seemed to be homemade. For the apple tart I would have added a bit more pastry, as it can feel that you are having just cooked apples, but that is just my own preference really. There is a wide range of ice creams Rhubarb, garlic... which I would like to try next time. Prices are affordable. There a seats and games for children. Overall good quality restaurant (food, wine, atmosphere, staff and guests).

Frequent customer since we moved into the area 10 years ago. Hospitality top notch. Food quality great and consistent. Sticks to its values with tasty seafood dishes. Love the pizza. And transformation for deli lockdown offer is great. Long may they last in these difficult times.

We love Le Querce. We've been going for years and never disappointed. Fresh pasta (the samphire pappardelle with scallops and prawns is a must-try), fresh fish, and home made icecream (coffee and white chocolate are current favourites, NOT the onion one!). What's not to love? Plus they were doing (and still are doing) the best pizzas long before all the other sourdough places sprang up. If you've never tried it (or you've only used the deli), it's definitely a local gem.

we love this place! really fresh, light food. the pizzas are great, super fresh authentic sauce - however the highlight for us is the aubergine pasta. the selection of home made ice creams and sorbets is brilliant (chili pepper & strawberry and balsamic were so good), and the staff are really friendly and passionate, enthusiastically describing their recipes. Our favorite place to eat out in the Brockley area.

It took me years to get around to visiting this restaurant and now I am kicking myself - it is incredible! The quality of the food is really special - the pasta is the best I have ever eaten (it even tasted great re-heated the next day as the portions were big). The staff are lovely and this is now my favourite local special meal out spot.
