Great little gastro pub, with local neighbourhood feel. Good wine selection to accompany the delicious dishes. Enjoyed pate, and particularly the mussels for starter. Iron steak was just ok, however pork and gnocchi had great flavours to accompany. Staff were very helpful... Wonderful enjoyable evening

I couldn’t miss trying the scotch eggs and the sausage rolls, as every review I read they were mentioned. As starter we got a burrata with artichoke, which was nice, creamy and fresh burrata as you would expect. Then the scotch eggs and sausage roll, the eggs was nice, great flavour, a runny yolk, lovely. The roll was ok, nice seasoning, the pastry wasn’t crispy enough, and the roll was cold, I would love it to be hot, but for that you might need to get earlier.

If just strolling past you'd think The Sands End pub in Fulham was your average local boozer, but you'd be wrong - it's much more than that. They serve delicious wines, delicious food and great staff with relaxed, yet very attentive service. It's what most Londoner's long for, so these local Fulham residents must be over the moon. The head chef here is Oliver Marlowe who formerly worked at The Glasshouse & Chez Bruce, two very good restaurants - The Sands End is now also recommended by the Michelin Guide, a great triumph.

Selection of starters didn't particularly whet the appetite, and when my chosen dish of crab and scallop ravioli with buttered leeks and a shellfish veloute (sounding like an impressive spoon from 'The Taste') arrived it didn't look particularly appealing. A mouthful later and i was gleaming with delight. Frothy, smoky paprika dusted shellfish veloute was a delight to eat and the single raviolo was a gorgeous example, especially with all its delicate seafood stuffing and buttered leaks.

Without much introduction the humble burger made an appearance on the menu. Burgers in London are, and have been the most talked about dish for a couple of years now. With such a raved about item you'd have thought The Sands End were jumping on the back of it all and dishing out a delight to compare with the best. Sadly they're a little off the mark and feel a bit left behind. A meaty patty, cooked nearer to a well-done had a good flavour, but chewy - from it being overcooked. The gruyere cheese was quite strong and ended up being the main taste. The bun and mustard/ketchup sauce (reminiscent of that from a Big Mac) on the other hand were very lovely, as were the triple cooked chips. The biggest annoyance was the teenie tiny board it's all served on which insisted on dribbling across the table and on to our laps.

Roasted hake with heavenly ‘nduja risotto, lots of salted almonds, aioli and pecorino was a sheer delight to eat. It's dishes like this where you can see why the Michelin guide have recommended The Sands End. It was all impeccably well cooked, beautiful hake, stunning risotto and those almonds made it just a little bit more exciting. Unusual mix of flavours, which really paid off.

This place has had several owners and seems to have changed hands again recently. They've always served good modern European dishes together with more traditional bar snacks like scotch eggs and sausage rolls and it is still the same now. The food is delicious.

Their prices haved certainly moved up a level but I wouldn't necessarily say the standard of food has kept up!

The service feels a bit stuffy and pretentious, especially for a pub.

It's good but not particularly special.

A nice homey yet modern pub with a good selection of food and drinks. The bathrooms are lovely and include moisturiser. Only 4 star as the prices are quite expensive, but as you expect in London.

My friend and I went to The Sands End for my hen dinner and we had a wonderful time – the food was delicious and the waitress who took care of us was very attentive and sweet. At the end of our meal the manager even brought a little surprise for us which was lovely and made a wonderful evening even better.

Lovely, helpful staff. Great bar but food focused. Three casks available including Otter bitter from Devon, also one from Sambrook's and blindside from Truman's. Quite eclectic! A fine establishment, do hunt it out and call in!

It was a fantastic experience! From the outside, the neighborhood appears lower-middleclass, and the establishment appears to be a lonely little tavern. Inside, there were only locals, primitive tables and chairs, dogs were welcome, and the meal was incredible, 5-star quality. We started with Scotch Eggs, which were crispy on the outside with slightly spicy sausage and a soft-boiled egg served with a horseradish sauce... YUM! Everything else was likewise well-prepared. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. These are fantastic finds.

The entire team from bar to kitchen staff are absolutely incredible! As a local having the Sand End 100 odd metres from my home with the feel of an independent local is second to none! Highly highly recommended for dinner, drinks or both any day of the week!! Special mention to the management Reynald and Agatha!!

Always liked it but it's improved further since the local decorator Gordon Hamilton was denied entry due to his teeth that caused customers to complain! Not to mention he's an infected predator who made 100s of boys sick in UK & Africa! Here he is waving £10 notes as he boasts of his plan to continue spreading his infection! Also check out the graffiti someone did near his house on Furness Rd!
