This a great cafe overlooking the canal with glass windows and glass ceilings. One can sit there for hours sipping hot chocolate and observe the passing boats and glittering water. The menu is limited but everything is really nice. We really liked their pesto chicken sandwich and desserts.

I've been wanting to visit this place for a while now as it has a wonderful view of the canal here in Little Venice. The place can get really busy on a Sunday around lunch time but once you're sat down you can enjoy your food and relax.
I had eggs benedict with salmon and a cup of tea and was very happy with the result. The egg was soft and liquid in the middle and the salmon and sauce went great with it. I definitely think that it's the simple classic flavours like these that make a great Sunday brunch.
The staff were friendly but they did seem a little bit overwhelmed by the people so I'd say it may be best to give them some time to get on with it. I'm definitely going back there for more breakfasts, even some cake and tea in the afternoon, and I'm looking forward to see how this is going to look with snow.
Utopia. I have lived in close this cafe for 18 years and have been in many times over the years. Never really happy with it until now. The present owners Have it in my opinion perfect for what it is, A Caf'e with a very good and excellently priced menu. Lets not forget location how perfect all year round stunning views over the canal at Little Venice. some people are saying a bit slow on service, well if you relax and take a deep breath and enjoy the location its not slow. Good food takes time it is not a fast food joint. Take a two minute walk to Clifton road to eat, the price will soar and the food or service will not get any better.
I highly recommend if it is on their specials board

This is a romantic little cafe which has beautiful views overlooking the canal. Perfect for a sunny day! The coffee and tea were good, with the tea being served by the pot. Soy milk is available. The food looked very tasty and we were definitely tempted b
My favourite place, sitting on the balcony overlooking the canal it is so calming.
The food is homemade and I recommend the schnitzal it is made inhouse and is very different to what you find anywhere else, it tastes fresh and you the know the breadcrumbs are not from a packet. The mash potatoe is always smooth and creamy and spinach is cooked perfectly my favourite combination, which I have to ask for and they are happy to serve the dish to my spefic request.
We also had the sea bream at the time it was fresh, all the dishes are generous in portion. Try the tiramasu, it is home made.
I did look at other customer choices, the club sandwich looked amazing as did the breakfast, but I have my favourite and I seem to stick it as it is always good. I have never had a bad experience in this restaurant, totally reccommend it.
Cafe Laville has one of the most incredible locations of the area - it hovers directly above the Little Venice canal. This means that once inside the restaurant, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the canal boats going past while you eat. There's even a balcony area, making it a popular place to dine during the summer.
Staff are very friendly and the service is quick. I ordered the pollo pancetta; you're given a large piece of succulent, lean chicken with pancetta, herbs and mushroom scattered across and a handful of diced potatoes. There's ample lip-smacking sauce as well: it's creamy and light.
The chicken escalope is also good: moist with crispy breadcrumbs. For dessert we had the tiramisu - again lovely and creamy (non-alcoholic).
I like the drinks here as well, they do a great pinot grigio and a lovely passion fruit juice.
With the lightness of the meals and the scenic views to take in, I'd recommend Cafe Laville for a date spot!
Being of Italian origin I do generally try to choose other cuisine when eating out, as its pretty good at home.
But after taking a short walk from the office past little Venice we stumbled across this gem.
I could smell something nice before even entering, so the deal was sealed already.
A warm welcome and quick service awaited, having chosen risotto and friends going for pasta, once the food arrived it fell silent as we all agreed we were very happy with what we had order, good sized portions. Clean plates awaited.
I will return, if I had to recommend one improvement then it would be their coffee, I'm sure this can be improved and its a little disappointing to get a poor (latté) coffee in an Italian restaurant run by Italians.

This is such a lovely location, even better if you get a window seat ... But it's bright and light and has a lovely atmosphere.
The service was excellent very prompt ...it is primarily an Italian restaurant but does do an English breakfast, my other half said it was the tastiest he had eaten ... There were a few other breakfast type things and then mainly pasta and pizza.
Coffees were lovely and served hot not warm, really nice.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here for brunch and wouldn't hesitate in coming back for dinner
What a little gem of a place, unassuming from the outside but great on the inside. Lovely, airy dining room with great view down the centre of the canal ( especially if you get balcony table) Always wanted to go and heard good things, finally got round to visit for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, food was great , very reasonably priced , served quickly and with a smile . Will definitely be going back, it’s not a huge place so I imagine it’s probably worth booking for the evening.
The best thing about Cafe LaVille is the view. It sits literally over the canal. The food is good. We had gnocchi and bolognese. Take a stroll along the canal after your visit.
It is in a great posh location, has a canal view. People come to this place is very cool. If you want a rich husband or wife, you should go there🤣🤣🤣I went there for just the canal view though😂👍I really liked their latte. Service is great but don't go there at dinner time and order just a coffee, they will pressurise you for the table for an eating in customers🥴😏I have seen many customers ordering home made pizza, paella, deserts etc. They all looked so yummy. Lovely little place, they sat us by the balcony which was great for a summer evening, service at the beginning could have been a little faster at taking our order but overall had a good time here 🥰 The pizzas and portions are large!
A beautiful little restaurant with an amazing view. I highly recommend the tagliatelle alla pescatora if you like seafood. Prices aren’t too bad either. Service was very friendly and did their best to find us a table as quick as possible. A little London gem

Went here for an anniversary meal, reserved table for lunchtime day before and we're seated in prime position overlooking the canal. Food was excellent and service good too. Reasonably priced particularly considering the location. Recommended!
Love it in the summer- perfect setting on the canal. The food it average and I have tried a lot on the menu. However the do make the best tiramisu!
