This was my first time visiting the restaurant and I was very impressed by the excellent customer service and warm welcome. The menu had good choices of food and drinks. We received our food quick and it was delicious. Lovely place for friends catching up. I highly recommend it. So close to the theatres!!
I had the pan fried seabass and the prawns and mussels that came with it were the best I have ever had (and I've lived in Brussels and had them "a few" times). The white wine sauce was really nice as well. The place was a bit noisy but then again it was a Friday night.
Had a lovely experience today in Browns in Victoria. Great service with friendly staff and delicious food. Will definitely be coming back when I'm next in the area & will recommend to friends & family. Thank you!

I have always found the Browns at Victoria to be a very enjoyable place to eat.
When I was at university, Browns was always the posh expensive place to go to. To be honest, I never actually made it there…. However, after finding many posher (and definitely more expensive!) places to visit in London, Browns is now a normal (but nice!) chain bar to visit. This Browns is located in Cardinal place on the way to St James Park. Nice spacious bar and restaurant upstairs...
Firstly cardinal way isn't a standard road, it's a pedestrian street, it was a little tricky to find. Great looking place, very classy appearance & nice ambience with jazz music played, a good amount of people in for breaky not too busy, service was fast. . I had the (2) eggs Benedict for 7.95 pounds & chocolate croissant 1.75. Nice serving size, nice poached eggs & good hollandaise not to creamy or strong flavoured. Great friendly service from our waitress. Worth visiting for breaky.
Victoria & it's main shopping hub, Cardinal Place, is part of the chain-gang. But as far as chains go, Browns is a good 'un. The crab & avocado stack is fresh and not stingy on either the crab or avocado and my current attempt at choosing healthy options (the Caesar salad) is plentiful and means I don't hit that 3pm hunger zone.
Service is polite & efficient & while it's no gastronomic delight, it does the job!

I Love coming to Browns—Victoria! It has become a tradition for me now every time I visit London. The Food is amazing and the drink selection is Impeccable—Even down to their Browns specialty sodas! It is always great seeing familiar faces every time I arrive here! Especially great to see Nikos again! His service is beyond superb! If you are lucky to receive service from Nikos, just know you’re in for fine dining at its best!

My sister and I went here yesterday for lunch. We didn't book but still managed to get a table. The waiter was so friendly and professional. I Loved the interior and how spacious and clean it was inside.
For starters we ordered the chicken skewers to share but we found it a bit too dry for us, so we couldn't finish it.
The main I ordered the fish and chips, and a side of onion rings which I really enjoyed. The fish was nice and flaky as it should be the chips just right i devoured it. The dish was served with mushy peas and tartar sauce. My sister ordered the butternut squash curry which was served with rice and she also really enjoyed it.
We didn't order afters we were too full.
We would definitely dine here again.

Visited Brown's Victoria before going to the theatre. Lovely service from Stephanie. The food (main) was tasty, hot and arrived in good time. Pudding was nice, although I should have gone for the profiteroles and not the Eton mess. The Raspberry daiquiri went down so well, I had 2!
I booked an afternoon tea for myself and a couple of friends. The booking was straight forward and easy to make over the phone. Once we got there we were offered the option to choose where we wanted to sit and we chose to sit upstairs where we had a lovely view. The staff was welcoming and helpful, as all of us could not have seafood, they have offered something else instead. Food was delicious.Thank you so much 🙏 for the lovely experience. I highly recommend this place.
The Traditional Fish & Chips were delightful, but served rather cold. 4/5
The Prawn & Devon Crab Linguine was bland and also somewhat cold.
The 10oz ribeye was amazing, 11/10.

My husband and I stopped here for brunch a couple weeks ago. We ordered two English breakfasts. My husband also got an Americano, and I got a smoothie. The food and drinks came in huge portions and were delicious! Our waitress Ang was really sweet and attentive. The atmosphere makes the place look like it would charge more for its food than it does. Great value and great service.

Spacious dinning area with a good service. The portions are generous. The Sirloin, the Chicken and the lamb were really good.

Vida was an exceptional host, such a pleasant server and very hard working - she was rushed off her feet. Lovely food and wine. Excellent night overall.
Not a fan of the chorizo risotto. Good portion of sea bass. Calamari could have been cut a bit thicker so there was more 'meat' and less (delicious and light) crispy coating. Desserts were a real hit!
We were enjoying our Afternoon Tea very much here. Serving were amazing especially by Panagis. I would recommend this to everyone. Assorties was large and delicious.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and we were shown to a table that met our dining requirements. The ambiance of the restaurant was relaxed and the lighting was subdued creating a warm atmosphere and everybody seemed to enjoying them selves. Our orders were taken fairly soon after our arrival and the food was delivered promptly. We both thoroughly enjoyed the three courses that we had selected and will certainly be returning soon.
Very easy to book online. First visit to Brown's, very busy on Saturday early evening but staff very efficient and food good. Desk for restaurant needs to be sign posted as had to interrupt bar men to ask where to go. Toilets had holes in walls which someone had understandably stuffed with paper.
I have been a few times before, but never reviewed. This place is so good. Not too pricey and always delicious. Would recommend booking for a busy time, but not always necessary.

The four of us arrived without a reservation and were greeted in a very friendly manner. Dinner was excellent as was the wine we selected. Jay and Panaghios? made me and our group feel welcome and very professional. We really look forward to going back!
