Excellent food and staff. The place is lovely and well planned, very cosy and comfortable! Recommended!
Great food and service. Darlan and Ali took care of our table and we couldn't be happier. They are super friendly and helpful. Thanks so much guys. You are the best!!
Bellissimo posto cucina eccezionale, consiglio per tutti quelli che vogliono conoscere la cucina orientale, cocktail stupefacenti, accogliente, pulito, piacevole da trascorrere le serate
Great service by Ayesha! Amazing recommendations for soft food with amazing flavour for my partner’s sore wisdom tooth!
She’s amazing!
We enjoyed very delicious food in this beautiful restaurant, we were very satisfied with the service as well. Thank you for this lovely experience :)
Great food. Great service. I had chicken , prawns and fried rice. Every thing was just tasty. Plus good value for money and friendly waiter.
Great Place to have a nice dinner with friends. The food is sweet and I loved the coconut rice, just incredible. I also tried the Bangkok King prawn and it was also very good. Order Saison beer, which I do not recommend, unless you like the task of roses with alcohol lol. The staff is very friendly and the service very quick. Value for money! I'll be back and hope you guys can give it a try!
Busaba Eathai: it’s one of those go-to restaurants in London that everybody seems to like and a lot of people absolutely love. Now the dozen-strong group of popular Thai eateries aims to broaden its appeal even further with a new brunch menu. At the moment, brunch is available only at the Busaba Kingston Riverside and the recently opened Shoreditch outlet between 10am and 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
You can't really go wrong with Busaba. I remember when they first opened in London and consistently had a line outside on Wardour St. Now there seems to be quite a few of them but no compromise on food quality and flavour which unfortunately is a common trait amongst chains. Prices are reasonable and the table sharing concept gives it a very relaxed feel. Miso approve.
I paid a visit to the Shoreditch location for a taste of the menu a couple of Sundays back where I enjoyed tucking into a mound of fisherman’s spiced rice, a kedgeree style dish of seasoned jasmine rice topped with wok-fried smoked mackerel and a soft boiled egg (£7.90), accompanied by a refreshing “Koh Samui” juice (coconut, carrot and orange, £3.30).
The brunch menu features a range of other hearty breakfast dishes like baked eggs with Asian mushrooms, chilli soy scrambled eggs, coconut porridge and “Thai hash” alongside all the regular menu items that Busaba fans have come to crave. Don’t worry – you can still get that obligatory order of calamari with ginger and green peppercorns!
There are also options such as a £25 brunch and unlimited Prosecco special (one light bite and one brunch plate with nonstop Prosecco served for two hours); the “official Busaba hangovercure (a khai luak soft boiled egg with soy and Thai spices, £9.50); and a range of cocktails including a fiercely flavoursome Busaba Bloody Mary (Kaffir lime infused vodka, Thai basil, pickled green chilli sauce topped with pickled daikon and red peppercorns, £8).
I found the brunch menu to be a yummy addition to the Busaba offering and great excuse for visiting the restaurant even earlier in the day that I might otherwise have considered. If you’re able to make it to the Kingston Riverside or Shoreditch locations on the weekend, go for it – and if you can pester the other restaurants in the group to roll out the brunch as well, by all means do!
Busaba Eathai Shoreditch is located at 36 Bethnal Green Road, E1 6HT. Find out more it, the new brunch menu and more at busaba.com.
Newly opened Busaba, Shoreditch.. What a lovely restaurant. They have a lounge where we waited to be seated and we were able to order drinks and snacks. Waited for maybe 30 minutes. Ordered a Guava Collins & a lemonade.
Table ready, we were taken to our seats. I decided to go for something different. Ended up ordering Pad Thai Jay and my friend ordered the Butternut Squah
Me and my friends went here for an early dinner. The food was amazing. Very tasty, nice plating, big portions. There is really good value for money. Staff was nice enough and helpful. I'll definitely go back.
I was very impressed with the ambiance, details, decor and most importantly the food. I actually dont like thai food on the whole. The infusion of coconut oil doesn't do it for me. So I went for the katsu chicken. It was very nice, chicken was done and the rice was light and spongy. The portion was massive, and reasonably priced. I'd definitely go there again to try out a few more things on the menu. I've been informed the thai dishes are also very nice, by those that like thai food. Recommended.
Busaba Shoreditch is my go-to Thai in the area.
Staff is attentive and friendly, the interior is warm and welcoming and the food is diverse and tasty.
They have a fairly large number of vegetarian and vegan options - the soyamari (soy-based calamari) and the aubergine curry are both really good!
Busy venue, but good atmosphere and the orders were taken quickly and the food arrived promptly.
The only minor complaint is that the tables are very close to each other, so it does feel a little cramped and difficult to have private conversations.
The food portions are generous and we’re prepared well. Would recommend this restaurant.
Real Thai restaurant with plenty of dishes to choose from, fairly priced. Service was good, and portions generous. A little bit too noisy at peak hour.
Tasty food, great Thai restaurant, wonderful service. Wow the decor of the place is wonderful, the food is superbly tasty, but the best flavour or tastiest dish is the calamari wow.
I've been here a few times over the past few years and it's remained consistent in terms of service and food quality. The food is better than average but at the same time it's not the best Thai I've ever had. Prices are okay but a bit on the pricey side. The pad Thai is decent and the drinks are good. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and good vibes. The staff are always nice and friendly.
I loved everything about it!
Location is great, starter was amazing, the main is currently the best I've ever had, the dessert very good (and I'm very hard to please with desserts) and wine lovely. This place isn't the cheapest but fair enough, the quality worth the price!!!
Absolutely recommend!!
LOVE this place i had a prawn dish and it was very nice portioned the prawns were a good size and the decor and atmosphere was superb. Can’t wait to go back here when I visit London again!
Very traditional pad thai. Yet it was served COLD. That is indeed not the authentic way. My mom wanted to use the disabled toilet however we were told it is broken. This is unacceptable. Thank God she is not disabled and managed to climb the stairs but WHAT IF a disabled customer needs to go to the loo?? How on earth they can climb the stairs??? I wonder....
Amazing food and decor. Genuine good vibes and great service and would definitely go back again!
Food was enjoyable as was the atmosphere.
Service was a little slow but good food made up for it.
Best Thai food in the area. The service was quick and my server was friendly. We came at happy hour so we had 2 drinks for the price of 1 so that was a brilliant deal. Will visit again when I come by London.
Great food and staff, and not too busy during weekdays.
We had a girlie night and had some amazing food! Our server Leo was so attentive and funny too. Love, love, love
Food is so delicious. Amazing blended juice as well. Highly recommend.
Great food. Loved the aroma of the beef Jasmin rice
