So cool to meet you Bobby! Eating at your restaurant in Hanoi stands as one of the coolest holiday memories from that trip, and when we saw that The House of Ho had a soft-opening we just had to go!! Thanks for the amazing food!

Went for a later-in-the-evening meal of starters and dumplings and it was very tasty. Had the prawn and crab dumplings, crispy squid and Asian greens and crispy beef. All very nice, especially the squid.

Went there for team lunch, the place has really nice decor and we were the only one in our room. Ordered almost all veggie options on their menu! And an iced coffee. Food is good. It was really hard to get attention of the staff đź‘Ž

The House of Ho was recommended to me by a fellow foodie friend who, whilst being a proud carnivore, is always keen to try good veggie grub (check out his Instagram @meatmyveg). We visited on a weekday evening for a post-work dinner. The restaurant is set in an elegant four storey townhouse in the middle of Fitzrovia, with seating split across different rooms and floors, helping to create an intimate atmosphere.

House of Ho is a restaurant serving up Vietnamese, Japanese and Thai dishes in Central London. Located behind Oxford Street in the on Charlotte Street an area I know well, I used to work in a office a few buildings down for 4 years a couples of years back. Anyway, I was invited to check out the menu and knowing that they serve halal chicken I decided to check it out. The venue is chic, cosy and modern, the main dining area is small but you don’t feel crammed in. Once seated I browsed the menu which featured a range of Japanese sushi and sashimi as well as different items like dumplings and food of the grill. I was given any 6 dishes to chose from, i knew one was going to be reserved for dessert so I had to pick 5 food options.

It's funny how blogging has brought so many awesome people into my life, when I first started Lux Life nearly five years ago I had no idea there was even a blogging community! Every so often I get to go to an event that gives me the opportunity to meet other bloggers...and through these events I've met some really lovely people who I love spending time with. A couple of weeks ago I went to an event at the new House of Ho in Fitzrovia with few of my favourite bloggers. The original House of Ho in Soho has been renamed Ho Modern Vietnamese, with the new House of Ho being more of a fine dining concept. We had a pretty sensational meal...

Vietnamese food is one of my favourites, so I was pleased to be invited by the House of Ho to experience its new menu and cuisine in its new premises in the heart of Fitzrovia.  The original House of Ho restaurant in Soho is still there, but has been renamed the Ho Modern Vietnamese and has kept its casual small table appeal. The House of Ho on Percy Street, is all new, with a new chef, new menu and a whole new dining experience that is slightly more formal and aimed at larger groups.

One of the best things about being a wanderlust-ing foodie in London is that you can (kind of) satisfy your wanderlust by eating so many different cuisines without paying for hundreds of flights! Vietnamese food isn't something that I've really eaten much of but when Angie recommends a restaurant, I make sure to add it to my never-ending list.

For my stag do, my best man had the difficult task of arranging a suitable place for dinner. Most of my friends are aware that I love my food. His initial plans of going to Gaucho’s was (thankfully) vetoed by another fellow foodie friend of mine. Attempts to pick my brains for some ideas were not very fruitful as I basically was happy with anything as it was not Indian (spicy food with plenty of alcohol would be havoc for my tummy) and not French (thats my default cuisine of choice when I go out). I did suggest perhaps Vietnamese as I didn’t mind something cheap and cheerful like Mien Tay. With that in mind, we ended up going to the House of Ho.

Vietnamese is one of those cuisines which I really don’t eat enough of, and mainly because there simply isn’t as much of it around as you may think – yet its the type of food which uses such a vast array of fresh & vibrant ingredients that even the most basic of eateries can offer fantastic value for your money. One of the newest Vietnamese offerings in the centre of town is House of Ho. You may recognise the name as being located on Old Compton Street, but that site has since rebranded as Ho Modern Vietnamese and this new flagship Fitzrovia site taken on its name. A little confusing for SEO no doubt, but with all the recent press and praise it’ll no doubt sort itself out.

I’m a big fan of Valentine’s Day and all things heart-shaped, so with that special romantic day falling on a Sunday this year, Mr S and I decided to make a whole weekend of it. Kind of like my birthday – I love drawing out an occasion as long as possible, can we have a whole Valentine’s month please?

As my quest to find Fitzrovia’s Favourites continues, I was delighted to find the rebranded House of Ho situated where Percy and Charlotte Street meet. The new flagship restaurant for Vietnamese cuisine, opened in December 2015 attracting plenty of critics to the four storey townhouse where head chef, Ian Pengelly, brings contemporary flavours to authentic plates.

Delicious food that was easy on the palate. Went for lunch and tried the chicken salad, grilled octopus, roasted aubergine and some soft shell crabs ! The aubergine was to die for but the crab was disappointing. Tried a cocktail and it was superb !!

This is a 5 star restaurant all day long. Food is exceptional and the prices are reasonable for the area. I had the Green Curry and it’s one of the best I have had anywhere in the UK.

Absolutely awesome ambience, simply decorated, very helpful and kind staff with gorgeously cooked food. Some meats here are halal. The mocktails are yummy too. Overall definitely a place to visit if you’re a fan of Pan Asian food.

I had a birthday party in the private dining room for 35 people. I can not praise enough the stuff and the venue! Tanvir kindly helped me with the booking, the choice of food and drinks and on the evening when Diane, Jennifer and their colleges behind the bar and in the kitchen looked after us without any fault throughout the night! Everyone commented afterwards on the delicious food, cocktails, drinks and how much they enjoyed the party ! Thank you, House of Ho!!

Perfectly serviceable night out. The food is pan-Asian, which means there's a handful of sushi options, a few pho items, some noodles and ramen, a few dim sum, etc. Everything was nice and the portions were in line with what we expected: not too much or too little. The venue is a converted town house, which gives you the weird feeling of eating in a crowded house. The tiny loos on the half landing really add to that effect. Service seemed a little disorganised - it took a few minutes to get a menu after being seated - but apart from that, it wasn't slow, and certainly welcoming enough. Main downside was the unexciting dessert menu.

Food was both delicious and reasonably priced for 3 of us. Service was really good plus they give you a little button on your table to call for service which just takes a little stress away knowing you can simply order more drinks with no need to strain your neck and give the we need someone over here please eyes. Venue is pretty with french doors that open but can get a bit loud inside.

I saw this place on 'Made in Chelsea' and wanted to go because my surname is 'Ho'. Booked online via Opentable which was super easy. We wanted to change the time on the day and managed to do this online as well with no problems. The places is smaller than i thought but it's cute and the food is Great!

Lovely atmosphere, very attentive staff, flavourful pho - proper dark meat and delecate flavours not the boiled and stripped tasteless chicken you get in many places. There were a few hiccups - after adding the extra ingredients the liquid wasn't hot enough, also I needed to add about a pint glass of fresh chillies to get any heat... but my requests were kindly and quickly seen to. Lovely wine selection too. I'll be back.

Really nice modern asian! Cocktails are delicious, Ceviche was very good (pictured), definitely try the crispy spring rolls, and the fried ho noodles are good enough to just the whole bowl as is!!
