Gurkha's - London - Photo album

We were a party of 20 + and were very well catered for. It's a bit different from the usual Indian restaurant fare. A very popular location that's for sure. The take away riders are outside pressing the phones to the window trying to get their next delivery as quickly as possible.
Best chicken dishes as husband's chicken tandoori wasn't dry, starters are not greasy so tastes good , enjoyed the bhaji and baked veg samosa. Good lamb Rogan Josh, staff are really nice too.
It's a proper curry house but an elevated one largely due to the Nepalese factor. As you can guess, being a restaurant with two cuisines makes the menu particularly tricky to navigate, but it's a good problem to have! I had a Nepalese lamb dish I've forgotten the name of (sorry!) which was delicious
First time 2 weeks ago and was not disappointed. Fantastic service and great food at a great price. You can really sense the fact it is a family-run restaurant with the warmth and genuine care shown to every table.
The food is always top notch. We love their nilgiri chicken which we always order despite whatever else we choose. The staff are exceptionally courteous and friendly. The food is not excessively greasy and the salad is usually very crisp. We look forward to the complementary papadoms that accompany e
Vindaloo love review: ok so I am shocked about the standard of Vindaloo curry's in South London and just how many places fail to add depth of spices & aromatic flavours. They just use chilli powder and tomato base. It's extremely dissapointing and hard to find a very good vindaloo. This vindalaoo is
I order from them every 10 days or so and they're always excellent. Delivery never late, order never wrong, polite delivery man, excellent food.
My favourite Indian restaurant in Sydenham! Delicious food, many vegetarian options and the staff is always friendly which makes every visit very special. Highly recommend!
Tasty food but they need to fix the lighting. There is no atmosphere and the restaurant looks closed from the outside.
Three of us had 3 starters, 3 main dishes, 3 side dishes, naan bread, porata, rice for around £80 including 10% service. The cooking and the service were excellent.
Great restaraunt serving authentic Nepalese food at a great price. The Nepalese Gurkha beer is a must try and far better than the standard Cobra/Kingfisher served in most curry houses.
The service and food were great. The prices are super fair. I will definitely visit this place again.
One of the most consistently excellent South Asian restaurants I’ve ordered from. The quality of the Chicken Madras is exceptional. I had their chicken tikka bites as an appetiser and I did not want it to end. Just so tender and melt in your mouth. It is better than anything in the Curry Corridor
I don’t usually post reviews but this place was wonderful and the food was amazing
Great restaurant, with excellent food and service. Very much looking forward to visiting again soon
Amazing service, I went with my partner and had a great time. Staff really polite and friendlly. Food delicious.
