Ive eaten alot of pizza all around the world and this place is definitely in the top 3!
Best pizza I ever had great place to eat friendly atmosphere
Sono tornato dopo 18 anni quando vivevo a Londra ,locale rinnovato e la pizza sempre il top!complimenti ragazzi!
Pizza is delicious here, staff is very friendly and welcoming. My Italian friends love this place!
One of the best pizzas in London. No kidding.
I love this place! Pizza is Neapolitan style (thick crust and thin centre), delicious sauce and toppings. The decor is not the best but service and food are great! Their bread is very good as well. Prices are reasonable and service is fast and efficient. Definitely will be back!
Relaxed family Italian with great quality food. We've been coming to this cosy Italian restaurant for a few years now and the food and service are always spot on. They take the quality of their ingredients seriously - (buffalo mozzarella is standard on the pizzas) and a great selection of Italian favourites done well - beef carpaccio, spaghetti Vongole, fantastic pizzas. Price deals from 5.30pm or lunchtime at weekends are a bargain. 5 mins walk from South East exit of Battersea Park.
Delicious and fantastically good value. I live close by In Chelsea and we always take the time to walk across the park to eat here....I am always a bit surprised at the superb quality and simple flavour of the food at this restaurant...from the fresh, vibrant green olives..to the delicious, tender beef carapaccio with finest quality parmesan and marinated orange peel....and then onto either a fine, light dough pizza or spaghetti vongole..everything is scrumptious. I know this restaurant sources it's ingredients very carefully and it shows in the eating..(and drinking) organic wines, white wines from Tuscany and sparkling prosecco are all here too..a fine dining experience with all of the warmth of a family run bistro. I can't praise it highly enough...look out for the home-made chilli oil too! At the time of writing this San Gennaro are doing half-price meals early evenings and sunday lunchtimes...Lucky us!
Finest Neopolitan pizzas, fluffy doughy crust, thin base, light tangy tomato sauce. The calzone was spot on, ricotta, ham and mozzarella were delicious.
To wash it down, the valpolicella was excellent. Even more pleasing were the bottles of imported (much better than UK brewed under licence), Peronis.
One of the best London pizzas. And fun and affordable to boot. Great neighbourhood place, but well worth a trip to visit
Chrissy D. Stumbled across this restaurant on the way home last night at 10:20 and decided to get a quick bite to eat. My friend and I shared a Diavola pizza which was INCREDIBLE. Perfect consistency of pizza dough with a tangy tomato sauce beneath a well balanced cheese/meat/chilli ration. Divine. Brilliant prices, decent sized restaurant. Service is fast, if not a little abrupt. Perhaps that's because we sauntered in ten minutes before closing time!
Will definitely be revisiting to taste the rest of the menu!
The best home made tasting pizza I have had outside Italy I love it
Good typical southern italian food, this is the real taste of Italy. Keeping it simple but using good ingredients. I feel like I'm sitting in Napoli at dinner when I eat here. The pizzas are especially good.
Great Italian restaurant with a nice selection of pizza. The food is genuinely nice with authentic oven baked pizza.
My italian friend loves his pizza Napoletana but I prefer the Salsiccia one which contains italian sausages. Also, linguine with sea food is another favourite of mine.
If you want to try an authentic tiramisu this is the place.
Service is quick and the staff were friendly.
Absolutely amazing pizza and I very rarely give 5 stars. My friend is a pizza aficionado and says the pizza is in his top three from around the world. We really loved the pizza, perfect crust and perfect topping combinations. The sauce is amazing. I could eat here multiple times a week. Absolutely a must if in the area or worth a trip out to Battersea just for the pizza. It's all about the Calabrese version. The restaurant is cute and service experienced, there is a reason it's been open since 1998!
Top pizza ......amazing staff
Every Time is an amazing experience for me and my friend .
They all love it.
Real and genuine pizza....make feel home.
Hard worker staff is always smiling and accommodating.
Will always bring new friend...more people have to know this place.
See you soon.
Fabulous pizza place with good old fuss free pizzas that taste delicious! We were welcomed a s seated by the lovely staff though we had no prior reservation. The ambiance is cosy but also quite lively which we liked. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
I ordered a marinara pizza and one of the best i have had. Sooo garlicy and nice. Tiramisu was also one of the best tiramisu! So full of coffee and creamy

Pizza is very nice. The sourdough feels fresh, fluffy and light. Cheese and tomato are very nice. I'd make the nduja spicier, but I guess that depends on the provider.
Best pizzeria in London! Top quality of ingredients and wonderful staff, cannot recommended enough! Pizzas are simply the best, and don’t forget to order Sonia’s tiramisù!
San Gennaro pizzeria is a must if you are around Battersea area. Their pizzas are made in a firewood oven and taste amazing. We always order them to go (they don't do delivery but you can go pick them up!). We love that they have a very varied choice of pizzas and you can even add your own ingredients at will. The parmigiana melanzana and the tiramisu are also really good!
Absolutely amazing!
Very vibrant environment that you woukd get in an authentic restaurant in the heart of Italy.
The pizza I had here was even tastier that the ones I had before in Rome and Milan.
It came very quickly it was warm and incredibly tasty.
I really recommend the place.
Delicious food and exceptional service! I highly recommend trying their tiramisu; it's absolutely delightful!
Great place for superb authentic Italian pizza.
(They really don't do anything else but pizza. They have some starters but those are really different pizza toppings.)
The restaurant itself is artistically decorated in a modern style with shots from Italian films. It is multi-roomed and multi-level. It's kind of modern rustic.
If you have a craving for great authentic Italian pizza washed down with an Italian beer or wine, scratch your itch here!
