Nice little Italian Joint in the heart of SOHO. The Pizza and the food was pretty good and the overall atmosphere is nice. The service at the place is swift and very friendly! Would recommend as a safe option in SOHO for a good casual dining experience
Upon invitation to give its new Craft Beer of the Month a go, I paid Rustiko Bar & Restaurant a friendly visit last week. Great beer! And great place to keep in mind whatever Italianate libations you seek in Soho. Teaming up with Italian micro-brewery, Birrifico del Ducato, Rustiko is running a Craft Beer of the Month special. The beer of this month – Violent Femme – is a real winner. A “hoppy Saison” (4.2% ABV) with a peppery aroma and light citric notes. (£7 for a 330ml bottle), it was but one of a few noteworthy brews sampled during my visit. I also happy to sip California Sun, a “Common Lager” (4.5% ABV) with a somewhat smoky and cereal profile (£6.50 for a 330ml bottle). And I loved doing a liquid dessert pour of Chimera, a strong (8% ABV) dark ale of prune sweetness yet dry finish (£22 for a 750ml bottle).
The polenta chips was so good. Only downside was the calamari was tasteless.
The steak, chicken breast, lobster linguine is and squid is highly recommend.
A wonderful experience we have had. The staff were more than friendly and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recomend this establishment and all it has to offer. The food was absolutely delicious, the pasta cooked to perfection.
We just came here for some drinks before heading out for a night out with friends. We got the roulette shots and in fact they all tasted ok except one. The bartender was really concentrating and made a real effort but of course this meant taking a while for these shots. Staff were nice as we were given a table. Didn’t try the food.
Came here for dinner with a friend last week and had a fine time. Will say that the seating is a bit cramped, but because it is a small space there is not much they can do. I would not suggest this restaurant for larger families or groups for that reason but it is cute for couples or friends catching up.
The food was nice, it did seem a tad overpriced but I enjoyed my pizza (I believe I got the quattro formaggi) and my friend seemed to enjoy his pasta. The drinks were on the expensive side so we both stuck with water, which helped us stay closer to our New Years diets since we were already eating so many carbs.
Not bad for a restaurant in SoHo, but if you're looking to save some money I would walk a little outside of the area, because while the food was nice I'm not sure it was worth the price we paid.
Very decent food for the price. Really nice and friendly staff. Great portioning and very relaxed and everything is not rushed which is rare to say in central London.
Had tickets for 42nd Street so popped into Rustiko for dinner. What a great find! Food was delicious, service was quick, and the staff were all so friendly, they really made our evening. Hope to go back soon.
The starters where incredible, unfortunately there was nothing on the mains which really took my fancy otherwise I would of given it 5*'s.
I think this might be a great little find for when I'm in Soho for the evening. I had the pre-theatre menu, two courses, less than £10 for the food, and the pasta in particular was very enjoyable. Plenty of staff, and one or two were very friendly and gave fabulous service. Food came quickly so it's ideal for a quick visit, especially before 6pm. Will definitely go again.
Had a few drinks in here on a day trip to London. Drinks are good, not badly priced and staff are friendly. One staff member in particular was great. Jennifer was really friendly and did not leave us waiting around once. Highly recommend this spot if your looking for somewhere to chill and have a drink!
Been here on Friday night. Nice place, amazing food that's really not so expensive for Soho. The only problem was the staff who were speaking Italian a lot. I mean, 9 of 10 words were Italian. The management should do something about this cause its really rude, even if the restaurant it's Italian. The bartender was really helpful - at least the one speaking English - making suggestion about drinks and food. I recommend this place for Italian people if you don't wanna fell like someone its speaking about you, even if they don't :))
This was a real surprise, a walk-in gamble turned into a delightful meal. Both pasta and risotto are cooked beautifully, the pizza crispy and laden with toppings (which may not be to everyone's taste but I'm a sucker for double-cheese), and the portions are generous. The service may be a little aloof but never unfriendly. The only thing I would warn against is the house wine - neither cheap nor cheerful!
Edit: second visit a couple of months later. Still a winner. Food is consistently excellent.
Tasty pasta, huge portions (didn't need a starter or dessert!) and a good selection of wines that we'd never heard of so we got 2 new ones to try! Prices for pasta reasonable considering the size, wine was typical London prices. Also in a great location for theatreland and central London in general.

Definitely worth a visit
Very pleasant meal, quite late after the cinema. Portions were just the right size for what we needed, and tasty. I had a squid dish which was spicy and warm, and the squid was cooked perfectly. The house white (we shared a carafe as we didn't want to split a full bottle) was good value and very nice indeed. We booked ahead as we wanted to use the Meerkat meal offer, and despite being a bit late as the movie ran longer than I thought, it was all fine and no problem. Planning to go back for Happy hour cocktails soon!
Amazing place. Me and my girlfriend went there for dinner Saturday night. The food was great and the cocktails amazing. The venue is tiny but very cozy and the staff is very friendly and professional. Definitely we'll come back again. Highly recommended.
Great little spot in heart of Soho with an excellent cheap dinner menu. Nice cocktails especially at happy hour prices. Would recommend the pasta over their pizza and the service can often be slow but overall a good experience for the price
