Really nice quirky little pub. Good selection of beer, banging burgers, great atmosphere, great staff and a cheeky little outside area. Can not recommend it highly enough.
Not even a vegetarian let alone a vegan but if I could eat that food every day I would certainly give it a go!! Fantastic atmosphere with an amazing inclusive vibe. Staff and landlady friendly and helpful. Great night awesome tequila sours!!
Great food and beer. This Vegan pub is doing it right. Really enjoyed my salad and the Sound Wave IPA. Everyone in our group of 4 was very happy. Well worth the trip from central London.
Very welcoming place. Great atmosphere and interior design. Huge choice of cocktails and the staff will make special ones if you prefer something different. Great food, can’t say enough positive things about it. Love it here and they’ve just opened a new beer garden �. Friendly people and dogs welcome.

Always loved this pub before, but now I love it even more! Ordered a tequila sour, but then thought “oh no. I can’t Have egg!” Totally forgetting this is a fully vegan pub. They made me the most delicious vegan tequila sour using chick pea water. Amazing staff, the BEST decor, wicked vibes. Can’t wait to go back and try the food.

Best dessert ever - the deep fried ice cream with chilli chocolate. Now I just need you to offer a vegan Huevos Rancheros and my Sunday brunch dreams will come true.
First time we went and as I was celebrating my birthday some of our non vegan friends joined us. They absolutely loved all the food especially the cheeze sticks. Lovely pub and lovely atmosphere ��

I'm truly at a loss for words to convey the sheer wonder of my time at Spread Eagle – undoubtedly one of my cherished gems in the UK.
Amid the enchanting aura of the Christmas season, my visit has etched an enduring mark in my memories; I find myself constantly reminiscing about it.
For those who seek a leisurely atmosphere, Spread Eagle offers a pool table, perfect for unwinding with drinks in hand.
Now, onto the culinary marvels that unfolded before us. The Sticky Toffee Pudding, an absolute must-try, I enjoyed every single bite, made with dates and topped with a rich toffee sauce, it’s a classic British dessert with a vegan twist.
Let’s not forget about the main dish, Roast with Beet Wellington showcases the versatility of plant-based ingredients a true UK highlight.
And let us not forget the star of the show: their house beer. Refreshing and delectable, it complements the menu to perfection, a choice fit for those who seek both refreshment and a vegan-friendly option.
Whether sipped solo or harmoniously paired with your meal (much like we did), the house beer stands as a testament to Spread Eagle's commitment to excellence.

Great vegan cocktails like espresso martini and hazelnut white Russian, which are usually non-vegan at other places. The pie I ordered was tasty and a great portion. Delicious!
Really nice pub with amazing vegan food! We loved the tortellini and the corn ribs, super tasty and in big portion!

Love this vegan pub! Great cocktails and love the Sunday roasts! Usually have the Beet Wellington (still my fave) but fancied a change today so went for the nut roast. Great plate of food - good size portions, fresh veg, lots of roasties and a pretty decent Yorkie! If I was being super picky, I'd like them to thicken up the gravy a tad. Always look forward to going - highly recommend!
Outside needs a bit of love, but when you're through the door this place is great! The food and drink options were varied and delicious, will certainly be back!
I can't say enough about the Sunday Roast and Beet Wellington! The food was mesmerizing and you'll leave stuffed. I'm still trying to figure out how the beet wellington was made. That gravy is special. I will have to work on that one too.
Visited The Spread Eagle a couple of Sundays ago, not being a vegan myself but wanted to give the roast a try. It was amazing and thoroughly enjoyable, the soup was delicious and never tried pumpkin tart before and I wasn’t disappointed it was so good. I took my dog with me who was made to feel very welcome, he enjoyed his visit too. Would definitely recommend you try it, I will be visiting again.
This place is incredible. At a loss as to why it’s not closer to 4.8 or 4.9 stars. Amazing food (doesn’t matter if you’re meaty, veggie or vegan - it’s delicious!) great beers and lovely atmosphere. Has a cool pool table area and cosy seating.

Came here for my birthday dinner and was thoroughly impressed! A really beautiful vegan menu and cocktail selection. I had the Korean burger and it was absolutely delicious, what amazing things you can do with mushrooms! I was also delighted to see a butter bean and red pepper stew on the menu - I wonder if it was inspired by Rachel Ama!
Amaaaaaaazing food, gorgeous and friendly staff, great service, cocktails 🍸 to die for- think creative and very tasty concoctions… put everything together , PLUS make everything vegan 🌱… and you have this picture of green heaven in London. I absolutely love ❤️ and recommend it!
The best vegan food I've had at a pub for sure! Staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was just perfect, even quite romantic with all the candles. Also very LGBT-friendly.
The best pub in London!! Everything from the décor to the all vegan menu is amazing. It has the feel of a cool East London living room- if you were lucky enough to know someone with an old glam aesthetic, dark petrol walls and quirky art. Still blown away that the whole menu is plant based and the staff is really friendly! 10/10 !
Delicious Sunday roast. So cool to have an all vegan pub where there are three different roast options!! We all got the beet wellington, which has a lentil loaf, greens, crispy thick potatoes, roasted carrots, a Yorkshire pudding, and a thick gravy. The loaf was dense and had a great texture, and the potatoes had such a crisp outside and super creamy inside. I loved all of the elements, and the gravy really tied everything together. Great service and awesome venue.
We visited the spread eagle for a Sunday roast, we booked ahead which was easy to do by phone. We were quickly seated.
The service was a little slow and relaxed but that was ok there were a couple of times we were waiting around.
The atmosphere of the venue was lovely, music, people talking, and it seems like a popular place. We chose this pub/restaurant because everything on the menu was vegan!
The food itself looked great and tasted great and just about the right portion sizes for the price we paid. The only feedback I had regarding the menu is that the meal itself wasn't hot when it arrived at the table it was more lukewarm! Which quickly became cold. It was surly sitting under the lamp for some time.

It's the first vegan pub we've tried... and it's also the first time we've eaten Sunday roast in our lives, what can I say... the vegan version is amazing!!! The place is nice and the beer is good! You should try it 😋
Great pub with a fantastic roast. It was awesome to have THREE options to choose from (as well as the other dishes on the menu), and it was tough to pick only two. The nut roast was my fave out of that and the celeriac, but both were lush. And I loved that we got a Yorkshire too. Don’t think I’ve found a vegan Yorkshire pudding anywhere else. The puddings sounded great too, but we were too full after the very generous portion. The service was really friendly too.
This is easily my favourite pub in London. Extensive menu with great options for non-drinkers. Friendly staff and a homely atmosphere. The parties are always good fun and I even had my palm read there! recommend
This place has been on our list to visit for such a long time. Finally made it this weekend, and it was amazing. Great food and service. Would highly recommend.
