Smashing location, friendly helpful staff, and I think that you would it difficult to find such a decent pint in this area. And the fish & chips? Excellent! Thank you, we will see you again. Cheers P&A

Never there for the food as I never have time but the staff are always friendly and I always enjoy having a drink on deck. Will always go back when I am in London.

Been here a few times now. Find it hard to believe that 1 reviewer on here complains the boat has steps which make it bad for wheelchair access. It’s a BOAT - Of course it will have steps! Another reviewer also complains that the boat moves about on the water.... Unbelievable. It’s a great venue, well run with good food to eat. I djed the company party when Stonegate first bought it (when it came back from hull from its refit) and was a nice place to work too. Happy, friendly & welcoming security on arrival is a bonus too.

First time back in nearly 30 years. Still a great place to sit on deck, have a beer and watch the river traffic

Not overpriced for London and one of the best views in town. When the sun is shining it’s my favourite pub to spend an afternoon.

One of my favourite bars in London!

Having drinks with a view of the Thames and the London Eye has to be one of the best parts about living in London throw in that your on a boat - amazing experience. If you go during the summer or on a nice autumn day they have seating up on the deck as well as lots of standing room with handy ledges if it busy. Or below deck they have a lovely wee cosy bar with porthole windows with great views. You are not being deceived that the bar below deck is slightly on a slant.

It has a great atmosphere and amazing view! I've only had food in there a couple of times but I would definitely recommend the nachos. My favourite time to go at night when everything is all light up and very pretty.

A very characteristic place located in Westminster area, right by the London Eye. I liked the ambiance and the service. It is a nice place, if you are a fan of the British Cuisine. I had one of their veggie burger, which was okay and quite tasty. Also, I had a side salad, which was fresh, but not very crispy. Prices are fine, and the view is memorable… especially during the evenings. It can become slightly crowded, so you are lucky if you find a spot by the windows.

Iv'e been to this magnificent boat a few times now, but specifically to see the comedy shows in the lower deck (which are fantastic, by the way!) Last week we decided to eat dinner at the Tattershall Castle before the show began just to get the full experience.

Now, the TC gets a 3.5 predominantly for ambiance, because how cool is it to eat dinner on a boat, rocked gently by the lapping waves of the Thames, while overlooking the London Eye?? The answer is very!

The food was just OK. As a North American, I have very high standards about traditional diner food, especially club sandwiches. Sadly mine just wasn't that flavourful. It was overstuffed between two VERY toasted pieces of wholegrain bread, which cut the roof of my mouth! My salad dressing was just too tangy and bitter without any redemptive sweetness (all I ask is a hint!)

My friend found her halloumi salad similarly too bitter (the cheese was great, though!)  My boyfriend was the most satisfied with his meal, a tender pork belly with an amazing jus. I actually used to it for my chips!

The drinks are plentiful and inexpensive, so that's great. We had rum and cokes, gin and tonics, and various ciders. They were out of Pimm's though, so that was a bit too bad.

Overall, I recommend a visit to the TC more for the ambiance and the comedy than the food. It also transforms into a club on the upperdeck in the later hours of the weekend!

Visited Tattershall on our six month anniversary. It was an unplanned visit as we happened to be in South Bank for a friend's birthday. My husband wanted the evening to be special and remembered the boats lined up by the Thames. It offers the most raw and magnificient view of the banks, the London Eye and the Big Ben. It was dusk when we went there and the evening view is postcard like.

Tattershall has two decks for seating. We were at the open deck first, which has seating as well as standing spaces. But as it got chillier, we moved to the lower deck which is enclosed but the glass windows allow you to continue gazing outside. Gets pretty crowded so we were lucky to get window-side seats.

This is a hidden gem in the Thames River side. This old historic ferry had become a pub and restaurant since 1939. The place has an amazing view of the London Eye and Parliament House. If you are fancy with shooting nice photos, this is the place for it. The ambiance is very romantic and it is a great place for first dating.

Great place to enjoy London summertime by the Thames. The boat is opposite London Eye what makes it even more special. Drinks are reasonable priced and staff are friendly. The only negative were that we had a table and a area reserved until 5pm and at 1630 security asked us to move somewhere as the are were reserved for an event happening on the lower deck. I told the security we had our reservation until 5pm.....he did not like. But my friends had a great time and the weather was amazing.

Went for the afternoon tea with cocktails. Wasn’t quite the experience we were hoping for. The food was ‘ok’ but certainly on the average side. The cocktail options were limited to 8 on the classic menu but they were missing ingredients to make a couple and offered no option to pay a surplus to include the other cocktails on the menu. The deck area is nice but the indoor dining room/bar is very much a weatherspoons on a boat. Overall, I would say it’s a great option for a couple of drinks on the river overlooking some great scenery then move on for food elsewhere.

This is a great place to go for a drink after work. We went Tuesday after a team meeting. There is a good selection of drinks, including nice wine. The fish and chips are excellent. Even on a Tuesday it was busy, you really need to book a table in advance.

Pub on the River was good. The burger was ok. Once it started getting busy the staff really struggled. Only 2 places to pay and very cramped for them to move around.

Our server, Lumi, made all the difference in making our first experience there amazing. He accommodated us in a perfect table for a perfect romantic evening and then brought the best of his attention to complement the night. We will definitely be back when in London.

Tattershall Castle, National trust property is a stunning medieval fortress located in the village of Tattershall, Lincolnshire, England. Built in the 15th century by Lord Ralph Cromwell, the castle stands as a testament to the grandeur and power of the medieval era. The castle's strategic location, atop a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside, offers breathtaking views. As you approach the castle, you'll be greeted by a picturesque moat and a stone bridge that leads to the entrance. Once inside, you'll find a wealth of historical artifacts, interactive displays, and informative exhibits that detail the castle's rich history.

It is recommended to climb at the top of the tower. As you ascend the narrow spiral staircase, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the countryside, including the scenic River Witham. From the tower, you can also observe the intricate brickwork and architectural features up close, appreciating the craftsmanship of the castle. Z visit to Tattershall Castle offers a unique opportunity to step back in time and experience the grandeur of medieval England.

Ticket price: 11 £ Per person (Free for national trust members) Toilets: Yes, available at site Parking, Yes available at site

Nice place to go to for drinks. The location is great. At a certain time they close the upstairs deck and you have to go downstairs into the boat, which is a bit cramped with it's low ceiling, but still decent

I came here at 6pm on a Monday night. The ship looks like a really attractive venue to have lunch, dinner or drinks as it is right in front of the London eye and has plenty of views, and looks like a good spot. The top deck is beautiful but it was a little cold so we went below deck which is beautiful as well. The ship is very large for a restaurant and there are tons of tables, and a bar on every level. We sat by a window and it was a really nice view. We ended up only ordering drinks because we weren't super hungry, although I was very tempted because the menu looked great. We ordered two ciders which were very tasty! The waiter was very friendly and he checked on us several times, and when he saw me taking pictures he even gave me a little tour. The ship is beautiful and has a TON of history. I recommend reading up about the ship, but they also have plenty of photos and historical stuff hanging up on the walls too. I would definitely come back here and I recommend this restaurant to anyone, although I can not yet vouch for the quality of food, everything else is on point. Update- the bathroom was not clean, but that was the only downside I saw.

We booked the two-course dinner and comedy club tickets. The food was delicious, and we had a fantastic view of the iconic River Thames. The comedy club was fun, with a good mix of performers. The staff were friendly, and they made a little bit of a fuss of my wife for her birthday, which was lovely!
