Gorgeous!. I regularly go to Blue River Cafe because of its fantastic atmosphere and fantastic food! I cant believe this has not been unearthed as a rough diamond as of yet? I always get the Lamb Shish and I never leave disapointed! i could litterally eat there every day! Please check this place out as it relaxes you half way through a rough day at work and always put a huge grinning smile on my face. Thank you Blue River - You have opened my eyes to what a fine establishment can be and may i never go ANYWHERE else on my lunch times. God Bless x

Lovely neighborhood cafe for breakfast, brunch or a quick meal. Tucked in on a quiet peaceful street just steps away from the the bustling kings cross station area. The place seems like family run and has an intimate and cozy vibe which is something I’ve always been fond of. We came here for the traditional English breakfast and were not disappointed. Foods were well-cooked, served hot and fresh, and we love the way everything was delivered, nothing fancy but feels home style and hearty, exactly what we were craving in a beautiful morning in London. Our breakfast even comes with complimentary hot tea/coffee, and to our surprise they don’t charge service fee on top of the bill! Yummy food, generous portion with very fair price, lovely atmosphere, all that made us very happy customers. We hope to come back next time!
The atmosphere in the cafe reminded me of small diners I've seen in American movies - very cosy and homey, giving off the impression of being famil-run. They had delicious cheap coffee (£2.5 for a good quality cappuccino in London? Unheard of) and their food was pretty good. I tried the cheese omelette, which was very soft, creamy and cooked just the right amount. As for their salmon bagel - I could see that all the sandwiches/paninis and bagels were pre-made and stored in cling film, and although they heated it up a little, it was barely warm. However, I'm sure that next time this issue could be easily resolved by asking the staff to heat it up thoroughly. The staff were very friendly and kind.

Excellent English Breakfast for only £9 including coffee and toast. The cafe is in a very quiet area and not at all touristy. Everything very authentic and lovingly decorated. We were served quickly and friendly. A clear recommendation.
Really tasty breakfast with good variety but more importantly, English breakfast and eggs benedict. Fresh OJ was a big plus and the tea and coffee were great as well. The staff was lovely and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again on our next trip!
