Just had a bar meal for 4 . Food was outstanding along with incredibly attentive staff. Highly recommended. Blue Bacon Burger was probably best burger I have ever eaten. Thank you.

Booked via Groupon. Our party had the Big Savannah, and fish and chips. Burger was good quality & filling, fish and chips were top quality (Dad says a few more chips wouldn't go a miss!) Very well presented. Craft Pilsner was also very nice

I went to the The Savannah for a meeting with one of my old friend. The interiors and decor of this place are very attractive.

The chilli chicken was very delicious. I have never tasted something like that.

I would highly recommend you guys to go and check out this outlet.

Peter Morrell goes to the launch and samples the ethical, sustainable and tasty food in stylish surroundings. With a fresh approach to fusion cuisine, The Savannah Bar & Restaurant opened recently at 81-103 Euston Street, London NW1 2EZ. This is Euston’s newest, most spacious and relaxed restaurant with an a-la-carte menu featuring European food combined with the flavours of Africa and Asia, alongside some of the best-loved classic dishes.

I know the area around Euston for one kind of food – Southern Indian.  Drummond Street has, for many years, been home to a row of excellent, mainly vegetarian Indian restaurants where you can dine out for less than £10.  An invitation to review The Savannah, a restaurant formed as part of The Wesley Hotel was intriguing.  Tagged as ‘London’s most ethical and eco-friendly bar and restaurant’ with food sourced from sustainable suppliers, I went along to find out more.

For a restaurant that's recently opened in the last month, this place has got everything down to the tee. For starters we had the Home-made smoked salmon and cured Scottish salmon and also the African spiced pork belly with scallop. Mains we had the Pan-fried duck breast with grilled bok choy and also the Sirloin steak with portobello mushroom. We decided to not be so greedy and share just the one desert. The Lemon basil panna cotta was so delicious I would have picked the plate. We loved each dish. The dishes came in a timely manner, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The only thing I think that could be slightly amended is the grilled bok choy. Since it was grilled the leaves were burnt and crispy. It is a minor thing but I think the bok choy shouldn't be grilled. If this restaurant continues to keep up this standard of great service, provide great ambience, present beautiful and delicious dishes, they have potentials to become a Michelin restaurant. I actually rate the food here higher than the food we had at The Shard. Most importantly the food is ethically sourced from sustainable suppliers and is a recognized member of the RSA (Sustainable Restaurant Association) I highly recommend you give this place a go. I will certainly be coming back again.

Food was amazing, we did the set menu with bottomless fizz, our glasses were never empty. Stefan was wonderful and they are lucky to have him. Our food was cooked perfectly, I upgraded to the steak and chips while my husband had the gnocchi. I'd recommend both! The arenchini starter was delicious too

Great place for dinner highly recommend the gnocchi it's just lovely. The warm chicken and bacon salad is a good little starter and would also make a great main to be honest I can't decide if I liked the chocolate pudding or cheesecake best (glad I went with a friend who shares)

I've stayed at the hotel for a week and had dinner there every night. You have two options: the bar menú, with salads, sandwitches, burgers, fish and chips,... And a la carté, with interesting propposals from their chef. There's also a cocktail menu with choices for all tastes. The waiters are really nice and welcoming. They're always checking on you to see if everything is ok. The place is clean, food's fresh, and the service is fast. Totally recomend you visit them either you're at the hotel or passing by.

I was bought a Groupon voucher for sparkling afternoon tea as a present. I didn't even know this bar/restaurant existed as it is tucked behind Euston Road in a quiet side road. I'm so glad I received this present otherwise I wouldn't have tried this place. When we arrived the staff was friendly and greeted us with a smile. We were shown to our table although we were given a choice of tables which was nice. We was asked if we had been there before and as we hadn't the waiter went through the menu and asked if we had any dietary requirements. I've been to many afternoon teas and would definitely recommend this place. The sandwiches were really fresh and very tasty. The cakes, scones and mango panacotta shot were really nice and a good variety. The tea also came with a glass of prosecco and you swap your tea for coffee. The staff were helpful, attentive without being intrusive. I will definitely return.

Went here for afternoon tea and it was lovely. First class service. Accommodating and attentive. The selection of tea was great and they tasted really nice. The scones were fresh warm and well baked. The sandwiches were nice and the cakes and pastries were fine. It was a nice variety. For the price it was exceedingly good.

Superb friendly service and nice afternoon tea in a lovely spacious modern room. The cafe/restaurant is 5 minutes walk from Euston Station and down a small side lane and so it is lovely and peaceful.

Walking into a restaurant which is empty with a single waiter is never a good sign, but the food was actually great and it picked up in business soon enough. Surprisingly enjoyable.

Came here as part of a wowcher deal. We had a good experience. The waiter was good at refilling our bottomless prosecco glasses. Service - excellent. Food was good but nothing special, if I'd paid full price for the main, i would've been let down. The chocolate mousse was divine though, could've eaten five more! I'd recommend though, nice place. Special shout out to Chloe - a true asset to the restaurant and very friendly!

If you are looking for an authentic, yet modern Afternoon Tea experience, this place be highly recommended to you! They serve the food in a cute little wooden rack/shelf, very instagrammable for my generation and very pleasant for all other generations! The staff is wonderfully nice, the atmosphere lovely and even though it is just located next to Euston Station, it is very quiet and calm. I would gladly come back to this place. Especially for visitors from abroad that may visit you in London, it'll be a nice experience and less overwhelming here! The food is unbelievably outstanding and makes you feel like you're God in England.
