We had a team meal for 18 people, service was prompt with everyone getting the food they ordered in a timely manner. The staff where extremely helpful and polite. The food was fantastic and good value, 3 courses with drinks working out at under £100 per head.
Perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks in preparation for Hawksmoor nearby, especially on a lively Thursday night. The ambience, both inside and outside, sets a great vibe. Attentive service complements the nice surroundings seamlessly.
Had dinner here. Service was great, we asked to be sat near a window and that was easily achieved. Atmosphere felt like how it was when Browns first appeared. Piano bar/restaurant with nice decor and a warm welcome. Food surpassed our expectations and was really tasty and reasonable priced. Would re
We had a great business team dinner here in their private dining area upstairs. The restaurant was very quiet at 6:30pm The team really enjoyed the restaurant setting and food. Service was attentive and overall we had a good team dinner. We will be back!
Great service. Genuine hospitality from a team that know what they are doing. A reminder that you don't need to put up with mediocre service in the City and don't have to pay through the nose for it either.
We had a great evening. The service from Kef, Reception and Kayleigh, the Server was exceptional. Both were attentive, polite and extremely helpful. The food was very well presented and tasted as good as it looked. The decor is warm and inviting. Although it was quite noisy as it was busy and
Nice atmosphere and location. Food was good and so was the service. Our choices were dominated by seafood or fish, so can’t comment on the meaty dishes. Prices are ok as well.
Update review of Brown Old Jewry.....! Well I have to say, after my initial disappointment, the Team at Browns reached out to me, and clearly wanted to make amends. I've re re-rated my review, based on some excellent customer service. First Review ...... I've been to Browns before in various locati
Wine was great, Argentinian malbec was lovely. The chateaubriand was phenomenal, as we're the chips and onion rings! Anita, our server, was great! She was friendly and did everything she could to make our experience
A little too noisy for a lunch time. But I guess in the City it is what it is. Loud bankers. Service could have been more attentive. Prices very reasonable considering location (£18 for 2 courses)
We had afternoon tea here for my partners 30th birthday. Everything was fantastic from the quality of the service to the quality of the food. They also provided great options for vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and a nut allergy! Great value. Shout out to Tav and Kayleigh who were brilliant and made
I had my hen do here! The staff was very attentive and accommodating to our needs. We also had a private room to ourselves. Food was great too. Although, I have to ask for a less fatty pork belly as mine was very fatty( my friend's pork belly has lesser fat). But overall, the food was delish
Came in for a coffee on a Monday morning to crack out some work. Was looked after by Erald, got to say wonderful coffee, and even better service. If you’re in this neck of the woods definitely stop in.
Good service and food. Meals were brought to our group of 8 at same time. Good venue and ambiance.
Slightly understaffed when I visited (Xmas time just after 5pm tho....!) resulting in above average waiting times for service of drinks and food - I expect it is usually a well-serviced establishment though!
