One of the best curries I have had in a long time. Excellent starters and perfectly cooked rice. Well worth a visit.
The best curry I've ever eaten in London! Very friendly and attentive staff. Will be definitely coming back
Fantastic place to eat. New menu and wonderful staff. Definitely visiting again.
Dined here on Monday night .
Attentive service, tasty food and all served by happy staff.
Great value, will certainly be back, I saw an excellent menu for Christmas so who knows, may be back before too long
The food was ok but the service was outstanding.
Visited this lovely Indian restaurant for dinner on my trip London recently.
Very calm quite and amazing place for good Indian food with proper Indian hospitality standards.
I would like to commend Mr. Manan who served us, an absolute gem of a person with such a humble and warm hospitality. His recommendations and honest suggestion and also consideration about preferences made our dinner experience very special.
Definitely a must try if you are craving for good and authentic Indian food.
Place: Decent
Ambience: appeared more formal
Service: certainly could have been better. With a double tree brand, one would have expected some warmth in service, but sadly not.
Food: was good..the horrible service was made up for by the good food.
Fantastic food! I agree with the other reviews, I would have missed it had I not seen the reviews about it being downstairs and located outside the hotel. I had to wait a few minutes for the door to be answered but once inside the food and service did not disappoint. I would come back again. The butter chicken was fantastic
There are a ton of great indian restaurants in London but my wife and I wandered into this one for dinner and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was quiet and romantic and the service was terrific. Shubham and Akshay were amazing, and we wish we lived here so we could come again soon.
This place had the best Indian food I've had in ages! 🤩
We had the chiken korma and the butter chiken, which were both delicious 🤩🤩🤩
The service was great, and it wasn't too expensive.
All in all, this place was amazing!!! ❤️
This place is not in the greatest location (in the basement of a hotel), and the decor leaves something to be desired. But don’t let that deter you! The food was really good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely eat here again.
I had to actually go and actively hunt for a waiter/waitress to assign a table to me. They seemed really under staffed. I also had to wait quite a long time for someone to take my order, bring my drink etc. The servers themselves seemed nice enough. The food was good. I normally find the Indian food in London lacking in variety and very oily. I thought the food at fire and spice was very good and given I am part Indian I feel I know good Indian food. I had the salmon curry which was delicious. They had a good menu which included vegetarian options and the normal compliment of northern Indian breads. It is located in the basement of the Double Tree hotel so it’s a slightly odd location. I would gladly return again but I do wish they would hire a few more waiters.
Best Indian restaurant
Hyderabad Biriani as well chicken better are very delicious

One of the tastiest indian restaurant in central london,. I'm in love with the paneer butter masala & garlic naan.. loved the ambience & Mr.Shubham is been very kind in treating us with absolute care..
Highly recommended..
The food was good and was ready quickly. I only wish it wasn’t hidden in the basement or the hotel.
It is perfect if you like Indian food. It is a perfect refuge from tourists and madness of Oxford street. We had dinners on multiple occasions there and even celebrated New Year's Eve. The food is very tasty and affordable considering it is in Central London It is a part of hotel owned by an Indian family.
Fantastic Experience, was hesitant to visit initially as its located in the basement. Glad I went.. decor and ambiance is not worth a mention but food is lovely and service first class.
Restaurant was busy with almost all tables occupied and saw few people ordering take away as well. Don’t think many people know about this place. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit for its authentic Indian cuisine and impeccable service. 5 STARS!!!!!
Enjoyed the meal here at Fire & Spice. Dont be put off by the fact that it's in a hotel basement... definitely worth a try. We went very late on in the evening (close to closing time) and Manan, the manager, was still glad to seat us. He gave us plenty of attention and was helpful with recommendations. Food was very tasty and good value Will certainly return (perhaps at an hour where there is a little more of a buzz)!
Great food, amazing service. Nice atmosphere, just inside the Double Tree Hilton. Prices are around £11 for a meat main.
I had the paneer kadhai was it was very tasty and flavoursome.
The staff was very attentive and extremely respectful. The food was super tasty and very satisfying. I highly recommend visiting this gem of a restaurant
The food was great, we kept ordering more. I highly recommend this restaurant:) (I wish it wasn’t hidden in a hotel basement though)
