Went with my boyfriend and a couple of pals for some dinner and cocktails in this place and it was amazing! Food was great I haven't seen a chicken burger like it, it was huge and so delicious! The side orders were great too, raunch fries, Mac n cheese all very yummy and don't even get me started on how awesome the cocktails were, I had a cocktail which was a vday special, I can't remember the name but it was so creamy and lovely! Nice music, good atmosphere and very friendly staff. I would definitely come back here again, ideal for an intimate night out with loved ones and friends very happy with the service and to top it off the hilarious fancy chicken on the bar - love it!!
Good fried chicken burger. Jolly rancher burger was well stacked and tasty with nice amount of toppings.
The veggie option was also very good, prob rate it in the top ten of my best veggie burgers ever. So that's a def plus. Was smoky and tangy but no mushroom or too much garlic.
Generous with the chips too.
On a previous visit I had the spicy wings which were excellent. Prob rate them as better than the burger tbh.
I’m vegan and personally asked chef Nathan if he could do anything for me. He suggested I get the wedges and sweetcorn fritters.
I got the fries to start, then the wedges later and they were both amazing. So delicious and the sauces were just inspired.
But those sweet corn balls were to die for! So tasty and they arrived quickly and piping hot!
I couldn’t recommend trying this place more! Plus Chef Nathan is a sound guy who deserves his own restaurant. Everyone should know about his talent!

Prob me and my gf's favorite restaurant in London. Chicken sandwich is delicious. Seasoned great and just overall well made. The waffle one is my favorite. Vibe is great they play classic r&b and hip hop. Drinks are great as well. Small and intimate, great for a late date night.
Amazing drinks, delicious chicken burgers, and super-friendly staff! You'll feel welcomed as if you are a local. My boyfriend and I loved it so much, we are here two day in a row....and will be back every time we are in London. If you go there soon, do yourself a favor and have the Red Sky drink.

Amazing chicken burgers. Not overly battered and the chicken inside is so soft. Can honestly say one of the best chicken burgers I’ve ever had and my partner said the same! Really quick service and the staff were very friendly. The food also came very quick. Prices are reasonable too. Will definitely return!
Good service, good beers and good chicken. "Can''t feel my funkin face" wings are super HOT - recommended (but not more than 4 each). Honey glazed wings also good. Excellent Caesar Salad. Clean toilets. Funky interior and music.
Excellent food with fantastic service! Everything we ordered tasted delicious, and the atmosphere was nice and chilled. The servers were great helping out with requests (We had allergies on our table), and went through the menu with us. Really great vibe - 10/10 will return!
Have been a few times now and have never been disappointed. The chicken burger with cheese is a winner! The wine list has got a good variety. The staff have always been friendly and attentive. Also good to know that all their chicken is free range.
Have been here 3 times now, twice for dinner and once for drinks and snacks, delicious food - recommend the mac n cheese chicken burger and the wings are soo good too, and the cocktails are fab!! Great atmosphere too. Will keep going back!
If you are looking for a great chicken burger, really finger licking good hot wings or want to try a new cocktail while listening to good music with superb staff in a cool place then don't look no more. Fancy Funkin Chicken is the place for you in Brixton! They are now open for lunch and they made my day today! We went full on with Burgers, Funkin hot wings*, fries and mac'n cheese and treat ourselves with the home made brownie for pudding and it was faultless all the way. I recommend this place eyes wide shut and will definitely go back. Good job guys!
*re. Hot wings, they take it seriously. If you are not a super fan of hot spice don't go upper than "Funkin hot wings". The "Funkin Funkin hot wings" must be savage. I won't even talk about the "I can't feel my Funkin face hot wings" - They will make you sign a form if you order them - so consider yourself warn unless you are fearless and want to be a YouTube star... 😉
