I can definitely recommend Franco Manca Bermondsey if you want to eat delicious pizza and practice your Italian.
My boyfriend is learning Italian and it was fantastic the way the staff encouraged him to speak Italian.
Lovely staff, excellent genuine Italian cuisine, best pizza ever, and incredible tiramisu. Wow !
As always Franco Manca is the place where you can find great pizza at a great price. Excellent staff
always awesome pizza at a really good price. nice wholesome ingredients which are local and organic where possible. cool to see the pizzas being made in the restaurant. service was good and the desserts were yum too. it does get busy but it's never too long of a wait.

Best pizzas in town. The consistency and taste of the pizzas are excellent in all their branches. Service could be better in the Bermondsey branch. The waitress just kicked my bag out of the way instead of asking me to move it. Thankfully we will always go back just for the amazing pizzas.

Not every Franco Manca is the same but this place always serves great pizza . I’ve been coming here for the last 5 years and every time it makes me happy and amazed how much passionate staff makes a difference.
Pizza is really good here with a beautiful sourdough chewy crust and all different toppings to your liking.
I can’t say that every Franca delivers the same
But this is the place to visit
During the day I passed this place and was intrigued by the sour dough... people... it was amazing!!!! This was hands down one of the best pizzas I have had. I brought an Italian... guess what?? He loved it! Give it a try. Also people serving here today? As sweet as tiramisu they served. Keep up the great job.
Pizza was tasty, super quick delivery and we went after 1pm so it was not busy. Perfect!
I had number 7 and person I went with had the meat special. The caramelised onions on top was nice. Meat special was nice but didn't taste much of the meat but still would go back again.
We had a free pizza offer so we had two pizzas for around £12 which was a bargain!
Came here to eat after travelling with 2 friends.
The food was super good. Took the pizza number 7 : "Spicy salami". The salami was a little bit spicy (according to someone who love spices).
The place was a little crowded and noisy, though. We had to wait a bit before getting our food.
One of the downside, which can be a plus tbh : all of the dishes have their calories written next to their description. This is nice for someone who want to watch their diet, but for someone who have food related disorders, the meal can quickly become hell.
This place is just too good. Impeccable in every respect. The food, service, staff, prices, atmosphere, selection for vegans and vegetarians. You name it, they are on top of it!
I've had some of the best pizzas ever in this place... highly recommended! Keep up the outstanding work!
Delicious pizza! I would eat here again. We can’t eat gluten in the States but have found it doesn’t bother us in Europe and proper sourdough is even better and easier for us to digest so we enjoyed it.
Awesome authentic pizza chain with ever changing specials and delicious pizzas. I also love their affogato. Franco Mancini is also special to me as it was my first meal in London and since has become a tradition to celebrate many firsts.
I went with three friends and we had a fabulous time. The gluten free pizza was delicious, the service impeccable. A particular thanks to Erica for making us feel special. I’m looking forward to go back.

It's what you would expect from a small, cute Italian pizzeria, although it is a chain.
As we arrived, we waited a bit and then were sitted. It was Valentines eve which was to be expected. The food is very good and tasty although I have realised that there is soooo much dough in pizza and in starters as well. The dough is very good sourdoughand you might find yourself eating more than you initially expected.
I love the fact that their indegridients are very good and Franco Manca is all about simplicity and great produce used for pizzas.
As it was Valentine's Day, the pizzas were heart-shaped - such a good touch!
Three is a good choice of starters and bites, although again, a lot of them are dough-based.
There is a choice of 4 cocktails (which could be increased) and 4 beers (as well could also be more) and 1 organic prosecco and some wines to choose from too.
Good choice of deserts.
The waiters were friendly and kind but seem vert busy and have to run around a lot.
All in all, I would be quite happy to get back there.

Franco Manca is by far one of the most splendid pizzerias in London. The pizzas are astonishingly delectable and the decor is quite nice. Staff are very friendly and kind.
It’s definitely a must if you’re in London or visiting London. It’s located on the beautiful Bermondsey street, which is close to the captivating Tower Bridge.
Big fan of Franco Manca - sourdough pizza is quite different if you've never had it before, first time I wasn't a fan but gave a second chance and haven't looked back.
Service here exceptionally quick, pizzas arrived in maybe 6-7 mins.
Great place for a quick italian pizza or tapas
I've ordered from them often and it was always good. This was the first time that i actually got to sit in the restaurant and enjoy the environment of it. My dad irdered the gluten free crust and it was really good! They also offer vegan and veg options. Do visit! If you can't, get delivery.
Amazing pizza, food came out really quickly. Would 100% recommend for lunch or dinner!
Friendly service and one of the lone places that allowed kids at 9pm on a Sunday for dinner. Pizzas were bigger than we expected and tasty. Hubby approved and he's NY born and bred.
The sourdough pizza base is delicious, so even the simplest of pizza is great to eat. The house red is basic and not brilliant, but you just can't fault the pizza. Definitely will go back.
