The Bear & Staff - London - Photo album

The Bear and Staff is an amazing experience. I've passed it so many times but we wandered in after a theatre trip and the staff were amazingly friendly. Great atmosphere and not packed at all. Comfortable and easy to have a conversation without being drown out like some pubs you can go to. Really en
Came for dinner during my girls trip to London. I ordered the tomato basil soup and the slow-cooked beef rib, and pulled brisket pie. Both were incredible!!! Paired amazing with a glass of the Rioja wine. My cousin ordered the fish and chips, cooked and seasoned well. My sister got the nachos which
Very busy, popular pub, right in the tourist area. They have a great choice of real ales here and a decent menu (not tried the food myself, although it looks pretty good). This is what I would call a proper London pub. Well worth a visit.
The pub location, atmosphere and staff are excellent. Good choice of beer on tap. There’s a small seating area inside that has a lot of character and the patio outside is excellent. We had the nachos (which were really good) and burgers. Would have given a higher rating on food if it wasn’t for the
I ordered the Steak and Nichols Pale Ale pie, and it was tasty. The meat was well seasoned, and so were the veggies. Portion was just right for me. The 0nly reason why I took a star off the atmosphere is because you can smell the cigarette smoke from outside coming in due to the door being open. It
What a wonderful pub. We traveled in from Toronto last August. We ate here before we saw Dear Evan Hanson at the Noel Coward Theatre. I just had to try Tod in the Hole and it was massive. Delicious and served with mash and veg. My husband loved his beef pie and mash. Great atmosphere. Wonderful staf
Really nice traditional pub with great real beers and decent selection of gins. Shame they don't have proper gin glasses though. Food is simple but fantastic. Really enjoyed myself here.
I've been coming here for many years. Having a multi-choice beverage menu and an outside seating area is a great advantage. The service staff are very cheerful and friendly. The location is very good. I can recommend everyone.
We went upstairs to sit. The server was gracious and kind. The food was really good and there were good options. the atmosphere was typical of a pub. Located right off of Leicester Square.
It was certainly busy and hectic, however the quality of food and drinks were top notch. Our server was terrific as well. Great atmosphere overall with nice views of the hustle and bustle from either the outdoor or upstairs dining. Definitely swing by. Fun fact I learned was that Charlie Chaplin
Very nice place for a traditional London Pub food. They have a good menu, with different options and meals. We had a large fish and chips that was really good and almost served two people. The ale we had was good and served in a good temperature.
Nice places to have a drink. Nice ambience with history and average-clean toilets.
Great place in the centre of London. Great food. Good music
Quieter than I expected for a London pub next to Leicester Square on a Friday lunchtime. But there was a nice choice of beers and the Steak and Nicholson Pale Ale pie was lovely. Nicholsons pubs are the flavoured choice for London IMHO
I had the most delightful experience at "The Bear and Staff"! From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The service was impeccable, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Now, let's t
Awesome atmosphere inside and out! Yummy bar snacks and a variety of drink. I will definitely recommend The Bear and Staff to my friends and family. Thank you Andy for glass and fab service
We had a great meal at Bear and Staff! The fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding were excellent and our server Ash was amazing as well!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Charlie Chaplin dining room at the Bear and Staff where Charlie Chaplin used to come after performances at the Empire theater. The Steak and Nicholson’s pale ale pie was mouth watering delicious and you can see why it is award winning. The service was very friendly. Highly
