The food was delicious here. The steak was perfectly cooked and packed full of flavour, so you know the quality is good. The lamb shank was falling off the bone, and the creamy mash was just perfect. We ordered wings, and the sauce was amazing. The mac and cheese was nice, but nothing special. We will definitely come back here to try other items. Service was excellent, quick, and very friendly. Both the waiters were fantastic
The sticky toffee pudding is a must try, one of the best I've had. It had a beautiful sweet crunch and just such a warm and comforting dessert.
A few days ago, I visited Asado with my family on a busy Friday night. I must say it was quite an enjoyable experience. Our group ranged in age from 2 years old to 60 years old, making it a diverse mix of diners. Asado, despite being a relatively small restaurant, managed to accommodate all 16 of us, and for that, I was extremely grateful. They even had a separate room in the back for larger groups, which shows their commitment to ensuring everyone has a pleasant dining experience.
It was our first time trying Asado, and we were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the food and service. While I do wish they had a dedicated kid's menu and a bit more variety on their menu, I must admit that for a small steakhouse, they had a decent selection to choose from. I opted for the sirloin steak with potato puree and peppercorn sauce, and I was not disappointed. The sirloin was cooked as described and the potato puree was a delightful
What truly impressed me was the level of service we received. We had requested that all our meals be served simultaneously, considering our large group, the staff at Asado were more than happy to accommodate our request. Their willingness to make our dining experience as smooth as possible was greatly appreciated.
As for dessert, I couldn't resist trying the sticky toffee pudding, and it turned out to be a delightful sweet (actually quite sweet literally) ending to our meal.
In summary, I would rate Asado with 4.5 stars, deducting only 0.5 for the absence of a kids' menu. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. The staff's kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to cater to our needs truly stood out, reaffirming the importance of excellent service in the dining industry. If you're looking for a local, cosy steakhouse with good food and top-notch service, Asado is worth a visit.
Absolutely exceptional. The food was outstanding and our server Launa couldn't have done a better job. The steaks are of excellent quality and seasoned to perfection. The sides were delicious. Worth a visit. I will be returning.
Went to Asado today with my family. Wife and I got the Steak tasting platter which is around 600g of steak, which includes 4 different cuts to give you a bit of everything (around £60). The steak was delicious, tasty and high quality. We had a side of "thin chips" which wasn't thin at all lol but quite nice. We had the king prawns for starters which was decent but I probably wouldn't get that again.
They don't have great options for kids but they gave the grilled wings with thin chips as an option. The wings tasted great although one of my daughters wasn't a big fan.
All the meats is halal, but they do serve alcohol and there is music playing. The music isn't too loud which is good. There are mocktail options which aren't on the menu. Parking in the area is free after 6.30pm.
The service is impeccable here. I would definitely return for the steak here.
I went here as I have been here before and I know it's a 'safe' place to go with family and I wasn't disappointed. It's always been a top place for steaks and I can only say it is still one of the top places. It's cooked to exactly how you want it. You will not regret it. One surprise was the potato purée, I never go for sides like this and stick to your standard chips but my brother got the purée and it was surprisingly good.
Booked a table in advance. Ordered tasting platter. Various sauces, fries, Mac and cheese, the Asado burger and chicken wings. The tasting platter was a great way to try out different cuts as none of us have steaks much. We all realised we loved the rump steak and ordered another large portion of it. Our choice was well done. The steak pieces were still tender, juicy and just cooked to perfection. My husband thinks it was the best steak he has tried. The Mac and cheese was pretty good. Fries were great. Chicken wings were good. The burger was just ok. The rump steak was amazing and I would come back here again just for that. We ordered sticky toffee pudding for desserts. DIVINE! The service was friendly, professional and courteous. Highly recommend this local gem!!!
One of the BEST steakhouses I’ve been to in London. Can’t go wrong with the steaks. Mac & Cheese is to die for! 😍 Nice and lowkey place with a great atmosphere. Good for date nights.
This was the best steak I've had in ages.
The hostess recommended trying a steak that's different to the typical steak, so we tried what she recommended and they were delicious! They both came marinated in a chimichuri sauce tasted so good that you didn't need sauce.
We also ordered the chips, spinach and mushrooms.
Everything was rich and delicious.
We even ordered dessert, the truffle chocolate cake which was also delicious.
The place was busy but too packed which was nice. The toilets were clean and service was excellent. Food is halal, however, alcohol is served. Chef even checked to see if we were enjoying the food.
Would love to come back for a sudden occasion
We came here for a work meal and ordered almost 75% of the menu between us. From the steaks, to their salmon dishes, empanadas, mac and cheese, dessert, mojitos, etc. Nothing was too big to ask. The chef came out to explain the different cuts of meat and was incredibly knowledgeable. He was happy to substitute different things across the menu which was wonderful. I thought everything was exquisite. It is very very high quality meat and ingredients. That is reflected in the price. I have gone to many many places and i can truly say this is one of the best places to eat. I wish I had taken more pictures but I was too happy enjoying the meal. Reservations recommended. Parking out the front and on the side roads.
Genuinely some of the best steak I’ve ever had. Can’t be beaten for value. Top quality meat which you can tell doesn’t come pre-cut.
We ordered shrimp & squid tempura starters with non-alcoholic mocktails. My choice of steak was a medium fillet (pictured) which was cooked to perfection and the mushroom sauce complimented this perfectly. For desserts I would recommend either the sticky toffee pudding (pictured) or the chef’s own special recipe cheesecake. Again, everything was amazing and I can not recommend this place enough to you all.
The service was great from all the staff, a special shout out to Aisha for being super friendly. A big shout out to the owner for accommodating us during busy hours and checking in on us himself. Can not recommend this place enough and can not wait to return soon. The steaks are halal.
