Not a planned visit but menu drew us in. Great choice of Gins, some local. Food not expensive for Knightsbridge - best posh fish finger sandwich I've had. Great lunch with my friend who was celebrating her birthday - friendly staff, didn't wait long for food and would highly recommend so unsure of negative feedback on here - give this London pub a try 👍🏻

Friendly and helpful staff that make you feel very welcomed. Got a great and traditional pub menu and also a very good selection of beers and real ale. I recommend the sausage and mash but the Big fish & chips looks good. I give it 6 stars out of 5 🖒

We had spent the morning in the V&A, walked across the road into the Grapes for lunch and a nice pint. Spot on. ✅

We went to this restaurant while walking down from Harrods looking for place to get traditional British food. The ambience and decor is really nice. In India, you would normally walk in and take a seat at the available table if you don't find anyone at the door. Here of course the entry was blocked and we noticed that there was just waitress for about 6 tables. So from getting a seat to ordering to being served everything is delayed. But maybe this is standard in London.

I ordered a steak and asked for it be well done. I somehow found the meat to be a little tough and not juicy like the way I prefer. My friend ordered fish and chips and found it difficult to finish. Overall a pleasant outing in a neat place with good food.

It's a supremely great pub, which has kept me and my family returning to, since the 80s. In a place where there is so much constant change, the attraction here remains. Wonderful staff complimented the wonderful circular bar. Please do stop by ♥️

Stopped here after visiting Harrods for dinner and what a great place. When we arrive the pub crowd on the first floor was packed and dining area upstairs was busy but not crazy. We ordered our food and drinks from the bar. The food came and was hot and very yummy. I can definitely recommend the burger, fish and chips, or the Mac and cheese. When we were leaving the pub crowd was mostly gone. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a traditional London pub experience.

Fabulous lunch! We had the mussels special along with the Sunday roast plate. Roast came with roasted potatoes, carrots, cabbage, mashed cauliflower, gravy & yorkshire pudding roll. Lots of great beers on tap, cocktails & wine.

The fish and chips were very good. Not greasy the malt vinegar was right there everything was there on the table. It was interesting that you had to go up and order your food. They had small glasses for water if you wanted a large glass you had to ask for it. I thought the peas would be smashed but they were not. I don't eat peas but I ate these.

Nice pub, we liked it. Everything is in the best English traditions. Varied menu, very large portions of the dishes are quite tasty. We tried big fish and chips. Very nice waiters and atmospheric interior. I recommend.

Just note that I am reviewing the restaurant upstairs and not the pub itself. The restaurant upstairs is surprisingly cozy and has attentive service, and they serve some very tasty mains. I stumbled upon it quite by accident during one of my trips to London. And I have to say they serve a mean fish-and-chips.

Very good Fish and chips and onion rings the best I’ve had in London so far. I will definitely be a regular!

Fantastic old cosy English Pub. Loved the decor, history and atmosphere. Friendly staff who recommended the steak which unfortunately was very tough and the bernaise sauce was lacking, effectively making the meal overpriced.

This pub is a good choice for eating and drinking especially for families: in an area which is quite pricey, the food and drink here are surprisingly reasonable. It has a traditional Victorian style with a gin palace ambiance. The service has some eccentricities but is overall prompt and well intentioned. The real ales are well kept and it has a good range of craft beers and ciders too.

Smashing pub. The ale was perfect. Great location if you're on tour. Literally ticked all the boxes. Food looked great but we didn't eat.

Needed to eat and saw this pub and gave it a try. I ordered the Veggie platter which was excellent. The portion was huge. My husband had a burger and a Guinness. Burgers only come well done but he enjoyed it. Staff were very nice. Helped us find a seat to be comfortable. It’s a cozy pub but a good one.

This place is fantastic not inlyndoes it look great from the outside it is on the inside . A proper old pup in a street of modern building and shops .the food was delicious and as far as I could see every meal looked great too. I was there on my own on buisiness so I sat and just soaked up the atmosphere over a drink .the barmen Mario and Ahmed. Where her attentive and kept the customers happy .the bar was very busy on the hottest day of the year so you can imagine. But you wasn't kept waiting at the bat. Tables were wiped down and cleared quickly ready for the next customer . A truely adorable pup. Hope you go and see for yourself .enjoy
