Nice quality food, lovely staff.
The food is interesting and wide ranging, well seasoned and tasty.
It isn't ground breaking or novel, but provides a reasonably priced and enjoyable dinner at a fair price.
My only criticism would be with the children's meal which suffered from an over large starter (garlic bread) and a ridiculously small desert (fruit salad).
Good variety on the menu. My chicken was moist and the wine sauce delicious. I was really pleased. Very calming to sit outside and enjoy the meal - good for smokers.
Cafe Rouge is a great location and has good service. The food is good, not amazing. The desserts are delicious. Enjoy

Surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. Really cosy decor, and the staff is professional, yet friendly.
Have been visiting a few times, can only say they have a brilliant team in the kitchen.
The food is better than I have expected, it is in fact very good, and the portions are absolutely huge. I have had the Bouillabaisse twice, always delicious, and astonishing just how much fish each plate is loaded with.
Nice setting, really good food, and all in all, very good value for the money.
I will certainly be back.
Service was great, the lady that served us yesterday was polite and always looked after our needs. The manager however not so much. He walked up and asked us if we needed anything, we said yes could we have some ketchup and mayo for our meal, waited 10 minutes and nothing.
Been going to this cafe rouge for decades for biz lunches, breakfasts and lunches/dinners. Last Thursday had a very enjoyable evening out with local celebrity dentist Dr Ricky Adams. Food was perfect and the service was exceptional. Seema, our waitress, was very attentive. Thank you. Graham Martin
Came here for afternoon tea which was cakes, scones and some sandwiches.
Limited basic selections of teas, I thought they'd be more for somewhere that does afternoon tea.
The cakes were delicious, so were the scones. The sandwiches there were only two choices, ham or mushroom. I would have liked more choice but it wasnt too expensive and it was a nice experience.
We booked today for our daughters birthday party, were made welcome and looked after very well by the waitress from Switzerland. Great atmosphere and delicious food too. Would definitely recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.

I had a rather nice steak, and could have eaten two to be honest. Very nice indeed.
Always good food and prompt service. Once l ordered a meal which was too spicy for me. They noticed I wasn't happy with it, so they offered to exchange it for something else without hesitation.
Good, reliable and consistent food.
The service can be somewhat inconsistent depending on who you're served by. A little more attention to detail in this area wouldn't go amiss.
We've been visiting the Cafe Rouge since we've moved to Southgate, and except the first time when the waitresses were a bit overly attentive and pushy, we've never had any issues here. The food comes out quickly (and hot!!), the prices are good, the place is always spotless.

Cafe Rouge might be a chain but it feels like an independent. It is actually one of the better chains. I went with my friend, we were treated well, the service was kind and friendly and we both really enjoyed the atmosphere.
