Amazing, friendly and helpful service here when you sit down, with really fresh sushi. The takeaway is also great value for money, especially the katsu which I couldn't even finish despite how deliciously crispy it was!
Love this place. I just love this place. The food is delicious and the service is genuinely very friendly. It almost has a cult following, you'll see familiar faces in there as people tend to go several times a week - and when you taste the food, you'll understand why. There's often a queue, but it moves quickly.
What a hidden gem!. Jsut discovered k10. Never knew it was there at the back of a takeaway down some stairs and lo and behold a big conveyor bely Rstaurant. I was expecting a Yo Sushi experience. I was very wrong. I was greeted by the manager who was very friendly and polite. We had a few minutes wait so he offered some cold drinks on the house as their air con was struggling. 10 out of 10 for that. The sushi was in a different league to Yo or Itsu. The chilli squid was fantastic. Have read some reviews online and they all seem to confirm that it's a great place.
So busy so good. This place just buzzes. It busy, bustling and brilliant. Great food from a conveyor belt. Fresh sushi, great katsu and delicious chilli squid. There is alway a queue but it moves quickly. Not the cheapest but good food, really friendly service and on and out as fast as you want. Fabulous!
Disagree with John. Katsu curry water and wasabi pease for £6.50 is very good value. I do agree with home when he says it's tasty. It's two mins from work and I am there twice a week. Try the chicken with plum sauce and brown rice. Yum!
One of the best katsu curries in town. Given the location, as you can guess the restaurant mostly caters to the city crowd for lunch although there is places to sit down as well.
Hands down the most popular fare here is the chicken katsu and for good reason - little to fault in it.
Sushi and service are exceptional. If you go after 2pm you'll get a discount!
Conveyor belt sushi plate service is great but the soft-shell crab is my favourite. The quality is superior and the staff make you feel very welcome. Highly recommend
This is a great place - queues out the door but they move quickly. Food is very consistent, always fresh and the service is very friendly and fast. Not a place to linger but great to grab a quick lunch with a colleague. Its fabulous - far better than Itsu or Yo and the takeaway is good as well - freshly prepared - unlike the horrible gunk at some "Japanese" takeaway.
I've been to K10 twice, once to meet a friend for lunch and a second time with my 12-year old daughter (again, for lunch) after a visit to the Museum of London. I love the set-up and the sushi is exceptionally good, which is not terribly common with conveyor belt style service. When I visited with my daughter the staff was particularly attentive, which I can only chalk up to their being impressed with a young girl eating sashimi like a boss in a sea of suits.
The atmosphere is upscale and this is reflected in the pricing, but so is the quality. It's a popular lunch venue and so you can expect a bit of a wait on arrival, but it is well worth it. Having your own water tap and condiment set-up is fantastic, but you will need to flag someone down for your bill and anything off the conveyer belt after you are initially seated—not an easy task given how busy it is (unless, of course, you are accompanied by a 12-year old).
Highly recommended.
One of the best sushi places in the square mile. The restaurant has some really amazing dishes. I especially like the passion fruit and mango mousse. If I am in a hurry, the chicken katsu curry is a great take out option
I've eaten in many sushi restaurants around London and K10 offers the best overall experience. Fresh and delicious food served by friendly and helpful staff. What more could you ask for? And the desserts are amazing too, especially the green tea mousse! I always go back and have recommended it to all my friends.
Great food, great service. Always new things on the belt and its the most consistent place I have been to in many years. Tried something new and didn't particularly like it. Waiter noticed I hadn't finished it and didn't charge me for it. Dropped my napkin - new one arrived in a second. Little things make for a great experience. A real gem of a place.
Went there the other day for lunch, and it was absolutely superb. The food was fresh and the best sushi I have had in a long while, the staff were extremely polite and friendly AND it was excellent value for money. Honestly would recommend it to anyone! Will definitely be going again, keep it up guys!
Busy place for takeaway but the queue moves quickly. It's not super cheap, but it is reasonable for the City. If you aren't buying a katsu and only getting sushi, then you can skip most of the queue.
no nonsense comfort japanese food.. there are a few bankers here - chicken curry and salmon teriyaki.. just a tip: you can order half rice-half vege for a "healthier" lunch. always go for the £6 meal deal that comes with edamame beans and a drink of your choice.. very quick takeaway service!
have a passion for kaiten - you know, these japanese restaurants arranged around a conveyor belt, festive plates going round the room. So playful, so relaxed. Sadly, most places propose the same creations, over and over again. Classics that you end up finding a little bland. It makes me feel like shaking the cook, go on surprise me, add some taste, some colours, wow me!
Well, K 10 (a play on the word kai-ten) has decided to take a more modern approach, playing on textures, shapes, seasonal products. Even the simple seaweed salad is a work of art. Sushis are crowned with jewelled crunchy vegetables, are wrapped in roasted aubergine, add the sunshine of a dried tomato. Salmon is lemony and fragrant with dill or sprinkled with sesame seeds or yet again used to shelter micro-herbs and cucumber. Noodles are sculpted into a delicious nest. Desserts are quite something too - unctuous cream, mango and matcha, sesame or coconut mochis.
Impossible to choose - I ended up stocking lots of plates on the side! The menu also offers a wide selection of hot dishes but on the first visit you are so fascinated by what is in front of you… It will take quite a few times to try everything! Go on, chopstick, ready?
Of all the modern "western" style sushi places I've been this is the most authentic. Beer and Burger above the Appold Street branch is also great.
Used to go there to get takeaway for lunch. Portion is big.services were very fast. Food was okay too. Will go back to try the downstairs sometimes..
Can't beat the take away chicken katsu curry meal deal. Big portion, great flavour and very reasonable price.
Awesome food. Well worth a visit. Gets really busy - but thats always a good sign! Be prepared to wait...
The special design of the restaurant, fantastic customer care and all services ,fantastic quality food ,once you take a seat you can easily feel and understand what is all about, feeling very impressed ,and I'm sure this the best place to come and spend your lunch time all over the city .
Great conveyor belt sushi, beautiful and fresh. Take away good, but not as good as the basement conveyor..
