Had a reunion with 4 friends from High School ( class of 1977).Wonderful choice-the food and service were excellent and our server ,Mario-was very knowledgeable and accommodating . We had a huge variety of food and tried 4 different desserts. The chocolate mousse cake was to die for. A very friendly and fun place for a group meal!

Dining alone whilst in London for work. Such a warm friendly atmosphere, server attentive but not ott. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly with lots of flavour. Highly recommended.
My friends and I had our Christmas party at the Spitalfields restaurant on Saturday and we loved it, there were a lot of us and our waiter was brilliant with managing to keep up with all our orders and everything was brought over at the right sort of time, lovely food and wine and for such a reasonable price. We had a brilliant time.
Lovely and clean, staff friendly the food was amazing and you didn't wait long for it to come once you ordered, I would definitely go there again.
Fabulous food...plenty of it in the meze and all delicious! Friendly service from the lovely staff and we had a fantastic meal. Great value with 10 of us there too.

This place surprised me. It has all the vibes and decor of an unmemorable chain. But the food was lovely and service flawless. The only let down was the desert, which looked like it was bought in from elsewhere. Well worth a visit though!

This place is definitely worth a visit - wonderful vibe and tasty food all for under £10!
The restaurant is located amongst many others in Spitalfields Market so does tend to get very busy! It has a few tables outside for those fine summer days. But as it was a rainy day, we chose to sit inside just by the window so had a stunning view of the market.
The interior is very nice and the atmosphere at lunch was great. We were almost instantly directed to a table as we entered. We both opted for the greek trio on the lunch menu which seemed to the popular choice at the rest of the tables as well.
The meal started with delicious hummus (obviously!) and tzaziki with a very generous portion of greek flatbread. We closely followed this with our main course of Lamb Kofte. The meat was nicely cooked and the chips that I ordered as the final component of my trio complemented the lamb very well.
Overall, a lovely restaurant which offers good value of money. I would almost definitely visit again to try out some of the other offerings on the wider menu.

They have a substantial menu but as both myself and dining partner weren't that familiar with Greek food we didn't really know what to order when we first arrived but the staff were very helpful with all of our questions about the menu. We ended up ordering some lamb skewers, chicken skewers, falafel, flat-bread and crudites. Everything was delicious and had lots of flavour which I was nicely surprised about as I wasn't sure what to expect.
Despite being fairly busy the service was quick and friendly. It was all delicious and served really quickly.
Inside the restaurant it is quite dark at night but they have candles on the table which gives it a nice ambiance especially if you’re out for an evening meal.
Absolutely adore this place - because it doesn't try to cheat you into a deal that actually forces you to spend even more money because quintessential constituents of the meal that have been omitted from the deal (e.g. half price pizza, without the cheese or tomato). The offer on this occasion included flat bead and dips for starts and then wayyyy too many tapas for mains and for a tenner each (we bought wine as well, but this was dirt cheap). I know it's pretty hard to get pita, humous and halloumi wrong, but for a chain, the Real Greek has got it RIGHT in so many ways.
If you fancy a change from the usual slant of high street food available The Real Greek gives you the opportunity.
Now it's not the finest Greek food you will ever taste but it does do the trick in certain areas. We ordered a mix of different delicacies to pick at which was brought to us on a triple tiered tower. The dips were nice and light to go along with the authentic style flatbread. The falafel too was good but nothing too exciting to draw me away from all else on offer in Spitalfields.
It has a slight chain feel to it however that prevents it from having the charm of a taverna. It is nice to introduce variety into your diet and it also appears very hard to find a decent Greek restaurant in town. Let the Greek reel you in.

Excellent and delicious food order!! I order multiple times from The Real Greek in Spitalfields and they have never let me down! The menu is authentic, the ingredients are fresh and the staff/service is amazing whenever I dine in store. Overall recommend this chain and in particular this branch in Spitafields - can’t wait to go there again and experience the great Greek hospitality!!
I quite enjoyed the lunch here. Got the mixed vegan platter which was a little bit of everything and the chips and vegan chicken wrap with their own made coleslaw. Tasted reasonably nice and the service was quick👍🏼

Beautifully Greek restaurant, perfect for a very affordable lunch in the city centre. The food was tasty and the best part was that you could choose small platters and taste various food.

The only downside is that the place is very noisy, at times quite annoying.

A great spot for lunch in Spitalfields! They have a lunch menu available that's very budget friendly with generous portions. The falafel souvlaki wrap was amazing and I would definitely come back for that and the caramel and pecan cheesecake.

After not eating out for a long time, this place was the perfect location to catch up with friends and get something good to eat.
The food came fast and the staff kept making sure we were OK and if we needed anything. They recommend a few items from the menu and we has not been there before. They did not rush us to leave as we were there a long time just chatting.
I would definitely go again and be confident that we would get the same quality of food and service.

A great restaurant to visit while at Spitalfields. The food was absolutely stunning. I would specifically recommend if you are in a large group as a lot of the foods can be shared among many. My friend and I had the set meal options. I am vegetarian and had the vegan style chicken which was perfect prepared. The atmosphere when I visited was very calm and very Greek. The only issue I could think to point out was the service as occasionally it took a while for us to grab someone's attention, however, this was not drastic enough to ruin my experience. Overall a great place to visit for Greek food.
nice Greek restaurant but slightly overpriced for its taste. lamb skewer and halloumi fries were the best choices here. the pork was a little bit dry and the Greek salad came out with tomato sauce(I thought it would be just olive oil and vinegar..?) the service was good, staffs recommended proper wine when asked.
Really nice service - I arrived as a single diner and felt well catered for. They have an excellent understanding of allergens and are happy to recommend. The good is good and the lunch deal is great value. I'll be back!
Oh my goodness, I brought my family here and what an experience. I felt like I was in Greece! The waitresses and staff were AMAZING! Food was great, service was even better can’t wait to come here again
