Adulis - London - Photo album

Amazing food! Visited here as a group of 6 vegans and we loved it! A great vegan menu and we got a vegan combo for 4 between 4 of us (works out £15pp) and 2 shared hummus and plate for 1. Every 'curry' tasted delicious and was different from each other. The injera (bread) was lovely and we had free
Delicious foods, tasty african coffee with nice atmosphere and friendly staff:) Briliant:) I highly recommend to visit for everyone:)
Excellent and authentic food! We loved the decor and the friendly staff.
I really enjoyed this food. Everything was tasty and this Ethiopian bread is very unique. Be warned that the spice level is quite high. I hadn't eaten spicy in a while and some of the food was a bit too hot for me.
Absolutely splendid food. I have been desperate to find somewhere for authentic Eritrean and Ethiopian flavours, and Adulis really delivered. I thoroughly recommend getting one of the mixed platters so you get a taste of everything.
One of the best Eritrean/Ethiopian restaurants! Wherever I go around the world, as an Ethiopian I am always dissapointed with the location choice, cleanliness, and presentation - more over with the food of many Ethio-Eritrean establishments. But Adulis was different - it was well managed, and organi
Visited this spot over the weekend and booked a table for 6pm. We were seated quickly and though it was not busy at the time, the atmosphere was still great. The interior is stunning, the food was generous in terms of the portion size. The price point was truly fair for the quality received. The fla
First time experiencing Eritrean food, but it seemed to be similar to Ethiopian food I’ve had and I was highly pleased! The price was fantastic and came to less than £20 for a starter and main and tea, staff were attentive and happy to advise on what to have, food came quickly, was presented really
Lovely decor and great atmosphere - first time trying Eritrean food and was a great experience! Went on a Sunday afternoon so was a bit quiet and so was harder to find someone to take our order but after that was pretty smooth sailing.
Great food very very tasty and a lot of nice vegan options.
TLDR; An excellent place to try out Eritean food at a very reasonable price. It is worth a visit even if the menu is a little confusing. This was my first time trying Eritrean food and it did not disappoint. Food is served on a giant platter designed for sharing. This mean you get a good variety an

Amazing food!! We ordered the meat/veg mini combo for two and honey wine and we were absolutely stuffed!! I also couldn't pick a favorite dish from the assortment if you asked me as they all were tasty!
First thing first, it is just 5 minutes from oval tube station. East African restaurant, the Ambiance is quite vintage and very pleasant. The food is authentic, though I tried it for first time(ordered vegan). You find find good wine here. Good for couples and family both. Service is good. A lit
Nice Ethiopian/ Eritrean dishes, we tried the sharing platters. Cozy restaurant, good service. The coffee ceremony (see photo of lady roasting coffee beans) seemed interesting to watch - and smell!
Beautiful decor with many traditional items. Very clean Restaurant and bathrooms. The staff were very friendly with good service. The traditional tea is very refreshing which I had before my meal. The meal was delicious and the of my family enjoyed their meal too. A Great Restaurant and Beautiful at
Great Eritrean restaurant, we loved the vegan selection and portions were (deceptively) very big! Particularly enjoyed the cabbage dish, shiro and spicy lentils. Would definitely return.
Ate here once the food was nice, it was my first time trying Eritrean food, I have had it many times since so I do recommend. I had the injera (not sure how to spell it) with a selection of meats, and egg really nice sharing plate.
