It’s a Nando’s and the quality is surely there but most importantly the staff is so cool!
The lady at the till was positive and really welcoming..
The table service was also great and gave ne a great vibe!
The place wasn’t exactly full and there has been a bit of waiting to get the food, but the team made it seamless..

Great for food allergies they have a very strong protocol.
We have gluten treenut and peanut allergies. Manager takes order and makes the foods for allergies. The manager was patient and explained everything to our satisfaction.
Food is good, chicken is super well done and the sauce is perfect complement.

My all time favourite branch of Nandos. Walked a long way for this and it was worth it.
Update
Again worth the trip. After this branch our local one seems very mediocre. I love the atmosphere and unique building at Clink St. Food was good. Service very efficient. Staff so polite, patient and helpful. Really pleasant. Enjoying the end of my apple cider which BTW wasn't on the app but a staff member kindly told us it was at the counter. Heard there's renovations next month. Hopefully it won't spoil anything as its perfect as it is. Thank you!

If you’ve been to a Nando’s they’ve all got the same menu. While it’s borderline fast food it’s real chicken grilled over fire. The halloumi sticks are tasty as is the butterfly chicken as are the wraps. The interior of this one is unique because they’ve repurposed an industrial building & really cool & quirky.

Amazing location for a Nando's. Historical place near the river, with amazing sunset views. Food is quite good, Nandos' standard. Amazing fries. The medium sauce is suggested. Friendly service amd plenty of space, so not a lot of wait for your table. Pita burgers suggested.

amazing location with very good view and nice decorations inside, stuff and service is very polite and helpful they ask if everything is okay and tasty and if u have any doubts they help you choose a meal. place was cleaned even with many people inside. prices are reasonable i think, we need to take the location into consideration. portions were sooo big that it’ll fill you up till the rest of the day and they have amazing cider here. we were there with 5 people and we paid 85£ for a big meal and everyone were satisfied so i think it’s a good place to visit if you have a bigger hunger. although i don’t recommend garlic bread it was very chewy and not as garlicky as it should be. also shoutout for many vegetarian options.

This was my first time here. I got the Peri-Peri Chicken 4 boneless chicken thighs with mashed potatoes and spicy rice. I got it Hot, and it had a little bit of a kick to it. The chicken was very good, and the spicy rice was delicious! I liked trying the different spices. It’s easy to order the food from your phone, and then they bring it out to your table. I recommend this place!

Really friendly staff. There is probably a little wait for a table but it's not too bad. Wide menue also good for vegetarians. They do student discount of ordered via app. Bathrooms available

I came around dinner time and it wasn’t too much customer it was definitely quiet and nice place to eat. Although the table we sat on, was dirty and the waitress who sat us down and saw it, she didn’t offer to clean or change our table. We had to clean it ourself. The food was honestly great and the drinks had quite the variety as well!! Customer service was absolutely amazing and definitely something I enjoyed seeing how well the team worked together and looked out for eachother. Another maybe just work on the hygiene!

Nando’s best chicken in town. Reasonable prices, very tasty food, delicious peri peri hot sauce, friendly staff and quick service. There plenty room and never experience long waiting time for a table. It is a mandatory visit every time i am in London ❤️

I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was my first time trying this restaurant. From the looks of the queue at the door, it’s popular with the tourists and locals alike.
Once you’ve walked in, you segue into another world. The smells, decor, and even the energy of the staff is of another place, far, far away from the typical pubs and such of the South Bank district.
The ordering is a little confusing. Just know you can either order up front after securing a table number, or scan a QR code and do everything from the comfort of your seat.
The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The food is amazing! I suggest trying all of the sauces as each have a very unique character. Great job guys.

Easily the best Nando’s experience I’ve had… staff were super friendly, service was next level. And the food was exactly what you would want! Best Nando’s in london because the staff here were superb!

Nando's in Clink Street offers delicious chicken with a wide variety of options to choose from. The chicken itself is undoubtedly good, but it's worth noting that it can be a bit on the pricey side. On the plus side, they offer endless soda refills, which can be a great value for those who enjoy a refreshing drink with their meal.

Great service from the staff at this branch. From the moment we stepped in and until we left all were helpful not only to me and my family but to everyone that walked in. Will visit again and highly recommend!

Easy order and pay through phone, chicken breast was dry, thighs were great. Large choice of sauces.

This place is in an amazing situation. Right by the River Thames in an old warehouse/railway arch. The ceilings are massively high and there's brickwork everywhere! We had a table on the mezzanine type floor and there were views out of the huge windows of St Paul's lit up on the other side of the river. The restaurant was very very busy as it was a Saturday night in half term but we only waited to be seated for about 10 minutes. It is such a huge space that the turnover is very quick. The food was what the food is at Nando's but the staff were lovely and very helpful and took 20% off the bill when my husband showed his NHS card.

Riverside stunning Nando's as a well as the meals been just as exquisite a warm inviting environment it rely is nice and find it quite romantic after a lovely meal you can go for a Riverside walk going towards blackfriars where you find the exquisite famous Shakespeare Theatre well known for Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet this is why I find this place quite romantic and further along the famous Tate Modern gallery or you can go the other way where there is the Clink Prison a Victorian prison the odd and couple of yards down you have the famous pirate ship and many other places along going towards Hays Galleria the market many wonderful coffee shops to relax after a full meal or you can relax there clink street not just any street!

Chicken was as dry as my back foot could have done with some moisture at least.

Very polite treatment. We arrived late, almost the closing time (22:15) and they were glad to receive us. They invite us to two drinks and recommended the special plates. Everything was delicious and good prices. The place was lovely and at a beautiful zone in London (the riverside of Thames)

Fabulous setting, friendly and attentive staff and great food!

As much as I love a Nando’s usually. My boyfriend is a police Officer and Nando’s is one of the usual places we are able to get blue light discount however we were rudely told they don’t accept this! Massively disappointed.

Great food and service from everyone at Nando's Clink Street, all except for one staff member who had the worst attitude I have ever experienced in my life. She was so rude in fact it bordered on the bizarre, we were expecting a camera crew to appear at any point it was so weird, but alas this person was for real. Unfortunately it ruined the whole experience so sadly only 1 Star. So if visiting Clink Street Nandos, beware of the young waitress with the huge false eyelashes and heavily botoxed lips, you may be interrupting her day.

Their food works and wins every time for me & my husband. We really like their half chicken with garlic bread & green sides. It’s a very casual place overall, they have huge portions which are perfect for a happy satisfying meal.

Food is so good. The service is the complete opposite. Staff are unfriendly. I went to the counter to order and was told that counter is closed and was directed to someone else. Get to that counter and get told she is also closed I must go back. The staff need serious training. Very poor service. Such a shame because the food is amazing.

As a Portuguese I was very curious to try Nando's as "Portuguese recipe chicken food chain".
The Portuguese part is actually African Portuguese (employees words) and the flavours are a bit different from what I expected.
The food is spicy, and when I say spicy i'm actually saying REALLY SPICY. We ordered one of the weakest spicy sauces and still it was too much for me. I love mexican food and I always abuse on the spice in my plates, but even to me it was difficult to feel pleasure while eating it.
So, for the record: when ordering, choose the weakest spicy sauce, or just a sauce with herbs. Then, when eating it, add one of the available bottles of different spicy sauces you have at your disposition and just try the ones you would like to taste in small quantities. If its good, go for it! If not, you can simply put the bottle back and enjoy your free-toxic-extreme-spicy-sauce chicken safe and sound.

Don't try the liver. It was very disappointing!

I have been to this place a few times while i used to study in London. Interior and seating both are very good. I have tried out their chicken wings ( 5 wings) in peri peri chicken. It tasted very good.

My first review for Restaurent outside. Been to this place in Chennai, Bangalore India. But was never got satisfied this much. Wanted to take something spicy and then we came across this. The whole setup, Ambience was lovely. Good was upto perfection. Loved it!

There’s a marked difference in the Brit’s enthusiasm for Nando’s; my gob was positively smacked the first time I saw people (gasp) queueing for Nando’s. For context, in AU/ NZ it sits amongst the flurry of fast food mediocrity, and I only ever went for the chips. But my first cheeky bite here was a positive one, and the minor differences make for a more memorable experience. I went for the chicken pita with two sides (bean salad and peri-peri fries of course) for £11ish. I could have done with more chicken in the pita itself, but of what I had – it was tender and delicious. I went with the Medium basting, but it could have done with more flavour still. Lucky for me the copious amounts and range of sauces are readily available. The bean salad with avocado dressing was fine if no exciting, but the star of the plate is the fries. I dig the Peri-Peri sauce and at this branch they were generous in their shakes. So yeah, I can start to understand the fervour for the stuff.

So i had heard a lot about nandos from family and so wanted to visit this place. First impression was good cosy friendly and great ambience. But once i ordered the food my expectations were a bit too high i guess. Its a decent place for burgers and drinks mainly more like a cafe. If you want to chill with friends then give it a go but not a place for full meals.

If you love peri peri chicken then don’t forget to visit this place. A chicken grilled and soaked in peri peri sauce will mesmerise your taste buds. They have many outlets and you can try any one of them which is near and convenient to you.

Nando's is the classic chain for piri-piri chicken. The rate really varies depending on the place you go but I found this London Bridge one a very good option if you want to eat a grilled chicken meal. The interior is nice with 2 big rooms plenty of space and an high ceiling which gives you an idea of being in a kind of colonial museum. The food was very good and the price is very reasonable for the quality. But bare in mind that Nando's don't represent the real Portuguese cuisine it is just a very small glance of it.
Joana Dos Santos Alves
That's not the best chicken in the world nor the best chips or the best rice. Everyone seems to enjoy it when that have their lunch or dinner at Nando's but, to be honest, I can eat better than this at another place. I was with high expectations and, after my lunch, I felt a little bit disappointed. Specially, because I paid a lot more than I was expecting for food that I didn't like it. Besides that, the girl who was serving me was a little bit rude to me. I had to chose my order without even having time to think because she was always hurry me up. That's not nice!

The most delicious chicken I've ever had! The combination of the chicken and sauce was perfect! For me, there is no such better sauce than Indonesia's sauce. But here is another story! I wish they would reopen their resto in Indonesia (used to be near american grill @bunderan HI)..

Chicken, chicken and MORE chicken, I love this place as we know that the children will be quiet for a bit at last !!! (I wonder if they do summer camps... Lol), also. I can only tolerate just a small of amount of heat, I always try to go I level higher, so there is just like a tasting restaurant, as I can order the non spicy and then experiment with all their sauces... Good Job...As always Flat Eric...

As usual brilliant taste of grilled chicken.
Visited this outlet for the first time today, i.e. 30/07/15.
The interiors attracted me the most with a vintage bricky look.. With big wall paintings .. N big tumbler like hanging lights.

Yesterday was hot. So hot that everywhere was packed. There was a wait for a table everywhere, except Nando's.
I personally, have never really got the Nando's hype (it's just chicken) but against my better judgement, we went in.
Despite their being about 10 tables vacant, we waited for a table, ordered and all of that shit (but seriously, when did it become okay to pay to go for a meal and have to order it yourself. That is not okay.)
We were sat in a beautiful setting actually, I can't fault that. We watched the sun set over St. Paul's and it was the highlight of the meal.
The food took ages. The service was appalling. Parts of our meals were missing or forgotten and met with smirks and eye rolls from the servers. When food arrived it was okay. I mean, its Nando's but I left wishing I had never gone in.
The garlic bread is terrible. Dry and tasteless. Chips were far too salty, I couldn't even eat them.
The bottomless fro yo was awesome (but it's hard to get that wrong).
It was just bad service, slow and a boring meal. Being so close to borough market, we should of known what we were getting and picked a sandwich, we could have saved ourselves 20 quid.

Nando's is a good place to go if you are a non vegetarian and fond of chicken... The Portuguese touch to the chicken butterflies are just amazingly juicy... The drinks are a little pale as they are unlimited.. tracking your order sometimes becomes a bit of an overhead.. but over all the service is decently quick.. The spice levels of food are catered to individuals taste.. A place to definitely hang around along with friends..
João Simões
Being Portuguese myself, I would expect Nando's to be more close to the traditional Portuguese cuisine.

Anyway, in short, the "adapted" version still presents a very good value for money offer and the food does not let you down.
Gabriela Oliveira
I loved it and my family too, but I can't understand a place that doesn't have sweetener. I get the natural vibe, but my father has diabetes and he couldn't drink coffee because Nando's only has sugar. Anyway, great food, great place.
James Laird
When it comes to feeding the collective habit of chicken lovers worldwide, Nando’s has something of a stranglehold on the market. The Portuguese themed High Street stalwart attracts devotion and ridicule in equal measure, dropping on to the foodie radar recently after receiving an impassioned defence from the frustratingly readable Jay Rayner. Of course, London is currently experiencing an explosion in poultry peddlers and there are a number of great options – the reason I’m bothering to discuss the ubiquitous eatery is because unfortunately there isn’t a Clockjack Oven or StickyWings on every corner. Nando’s presents an interesting conundrum for the modern gastro-snob. On the one hand, it’s the ultimate personification of the chain restaurant, a phenomenon that most of us agree is pretty damn awful. At the same time, the fact remains: the food isn’t actually that bad and it’s quite convenient. If you’re questing for a bite to eat in an uninspiring part of the world, there are far more
Mark Anthony
...Nando’s serves roasted Portuguese/Mozambican chicken. You have the option of choosing a quarter chicken, half chicken, or wings with optional sides. They also have salads, burgers, pittas, and wraps. On this occasion I went for the half chicken, a side of chips (fries for Amurika), and some macho peas
Gaby
Should try the whole meal with hot peri peri sauce! Try to mix hot and medium peri peri sauce. Though it might be a little bit spicy and sour but it is very delicious !
Meryem
I have been there quiet more time and every time the waitress was extremely helpful. Brought our food very quickly after sitting down & was at a high standard. Very nice tasting chicken and the portion was just right. And it is good you can create your own taste. My favourite is deff. Chicken Butterfly - Mango & Lime.
Shweta Singh
Quarter chicken with medium spice level and a side of spicy rice, corn on the cob, bottomless coke and peri-peri fries and you cannot go wrong! The pitta wraps are good too and so is the side of garlic bread if you are sharing.

This is one of the biggest Nandos outlets that I have been to in London and some of the seating overlooks the thames. For a sunny day you can also request outside seating on the cobbled road that leads up from the clink prison down to the thames. Due to the popularity of the location with tourists on weekends, you may not be able to get seating during peak meal times but the food is definitely worth waiting for.
Vishal Bagaria
Since I am a vegetarian, I really would not recommend fellow vegetarians to try Nandos primarily because its vegetarian burgers etc taste a bit "weird" if you know what I mean. However, the salad options are really goods and so are the fries and the garlic bread. My non vegetarian friends loved their peri peri chicken though. So, for non vegetarians, Nandos is definitely worth a go! For vegetarians, you can sure give it a miss!
