such a hidden gem. The restaurant manager is super friendly! The food and atmosphere are amazing. We ordered the vegan platter for 2 which was delicious and a big portion! Definitely the best Eritrean restaurant I’ve been to, can’t recommend it enough.

The food was amazing! The staff really made us feel welcomed and homely, always kind and helpful even when the restaurant got busy. I had the meat and vegetable sambusa - delicious! My favourite was the main vegan sharing platter, I shared with my friends and we all enjoyed it throughly! Wonderful restaurant to visit ☺️

Very friendly restaurant manager and absolutely delicious food. We love coming here and are so happy there is such a welcoming and high-quality restaurant in our area. Cannot recommend enough! Lots of vegetarian options available as well. A gem in Finsbury Park.

Good food, gentle atmosphere, and lovely staff. Emba Soire has a range of dishes, but I have always gone for the Vegan Platter and so got to have a bit of everything on a bed of injera. I realise always sharing the platter means I don't know the dishes names! My partner eats meat and Emba Soira have accommodated us by serving our food on two different plates: the platter and a meat side. They have a range of dishes from fresh, through hearty, to spicy, and their wine selection is a good accompaniment to their wholesome food. They also offer a traditional coffee ceremony which was an exciting new experience for me. More people should know about this place!

An amazing restaurant, a female run family business, an outstanding atmosphere. The food quality is supreme and sharing a platter is a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Absolutely 5 stars!

What a fantastic restaurant! The owner clearly takes pride in their food and creating an authentic Eritrean meal. We went on a quiet Tuesday after new year and were the only ones in the restaurant. We shared a couple of vegan dishes (okra curry and mashed fava beans) it was loads of food and absolutely delicious. Good value for money too!

Super tasty Eritrean food, although a little pricey at £11.50 as the cheapest main. I've been several times though as I'm addicted. I'm a veggie and it's perfect food for me! Even the salad was delicious. Great vibes here too. The tea is also amazing!

The best Eritrean restaurant I have been to. The passion and knowledge for food they have at Emba Soira is incredible! The beef and lamb stew was super tasty -- spicy, but not too hot (the meat was extremely tender). My boyfriend and I also liked the fava bean stew very much. I really recommend this place if you like interesting food and you don't want to spend a lot of money.

Emba Soira is an excellent Eritrean restaurant. The food is delicious, with flavorful stews and injera bread that's freshly made. The service is friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere makes for a great dining experience. Highly recommended!

Very tasty and friendly. The platter is a little keenly priced on the vegan side but very nice all the same.

Lovely family run restaurant, bringing something different to the area. The food was delicious and well seasoned. I recommend the haddock dish with injera. It comes with veg and it’s moreish. I also liked the beef tartare, I have never had it like that. If you are looking to try something new in Stroud green this is it. Make sure you wash your hands as you eat with your hands. Enjoy!

This place is fantastic and everything a local restaurant should be. We wandered in on a Thursday night, and were immediately greeted by the warm staff and incredible smell of delicious homemade food. They have lots of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as tasty traditional meat stews. We had a mixed meal of Zigni Beef & Hamli which came with some delicious vegetable side dishes too. We were made to feel very welcome, the owner was really helpful and happy to explain the menu. It's clear that they are proud of their cuisine and their culture, which made the experience all the nicer. We'll definitely be back soon!

Just tried this place for dinner with friends - very warm welcome and amazing food which my friend told me is very authentic. There were 5 of us and we spent little over 10 pounds per person including drinks. I would highly recommend this place!

So many flavours, we've ordered the vegan platter and boy, you will not miss meat at all, however they do also offer a meat platter too. Come and check this place out.
