Edgar Wallace - London - Photo album

I didn't eat here having come from lunch at a restaurant nearby so I can't rate the food this time (but I did come here for a work Christmas lunch years ago & the meal was great at that time). Very unusual pub, cavernous and airy with walls and even the ceilings plastered with beer mats and tobacco/
Can't rate the food because we only had beer, which was in very good condition and served with a smile. Nice warm atmosphere 👌
I was visiting London from NS, Canada, and I stayed in the building right next door to the Edgar Wallace the week of September 18th. (above the Devereux)...One evening around 9:30pm, I poked my head in the door just to see if their kitchen was still open. A kind gentleman said it was not but what wo
An eclectic little oasis just south of Fleet Street. Warm friendly service. Plenty of keg beers on offer and a couple of cask ales running. The walls are covered in huge numbers of beer mats and other souvenirs of bygone days. A couple of extraordinary person sized doll soldiers guarding the bar, wo
A good pub is defined by the bartenders, the ambience and the clientele. The guests were super sweet, the bartenders were funny and polite and the chairs were good. Go and speak with the blonde ma'am working there. She is extremely funny. The perfect neighbourhood bar.
Lovely 'law area pub' with period references covering the walls and ceilings. Nice friendly service, clean loos, & great ale. Update : repeated my QA process with a group & we all agreed it was a fantastic pub for a post urban ramble.
Is a stone cold stunner of a pub and one of my go to’s when I’m knocking about the temple area. It was also the destination for @peteinthepub to complete his 365 pubs in 365 days challenge so I had to pop in for a few cold ones. You should definitely checkout @peteinthepub year long adventure and
Great pub stacked full of vintage advertising. Proper pub food as well. Choice of ale is a bit limited though.
Great, atmospheric pub perfect for downng a few pints of Guardsman bitter or Hotspur ale - a good choice of real ales and lagers in a lovely old pub just off Strand/Fleet Street, a minute from the Law Courts. The bar snacks are well worth trying - I had thick crusty bread with corned beef and cheese
Great find this bar staff very welcoming easy food menu to get your head around
