Great Pub that made us travelers feel right at home.We went there every night for a couple pints since it was right around the corner from where we were staying. So glad we found it! Charlie who ran the place made us feel right at home and always had great suggestions about what ales to try.I just wish I had such a hidden gem back here in the states.

A real gem tucked away behind the Albert Embankment. Good selection of real ales, lagers, wines and malt whiskey. Pool table and TV if that's your thing.

An old London pub with a great feel and atmosphere. Friendly welcoming staff. Beers, wines and spirits are top notch - we even celebrated my birthday with Moet in a silver ice bucket!! - a great traditional pub with friendly clientele. A real recent find tucked away behind the IMO.
Great little independent pub hidden away behind the IMO and London Fire Station- great atmosphere, attentive staff, great food and drink. Warm and comfortable with leather armchairs, darts and pool. Well worth a visit. Has character and is very welcoming.

The venue is hidden within the Lambeth area, a few min away from Houses of Parliament and the Thames river.
It is a typical British pub, with quite an authentic atmosphere, a great large bar and many seats within.
I used to go there with my friends for a beer and chips as it was quite close to our student halls of residence. It is a pleasant and welcoming pub from outside situated in a nice, quiet street, with some authenticity and comfort from inside.
The service is great and everyone is really helpful. What I do not like about the pub is that it was closed on Sundays and that was a day that was convenient for all my friends to get together.
Lovely Pub with great Pizza and Pint selection. We came here here on our first night in London, and couldn't of asked for a better experience. The bartender was very helpful with advice on London and the food was perfect. If you're in the area it's worth a stop

Great pub to recharge after a long day of walking around downtown London, Big Ben and the Thames. Very good beer, and quite delicious fish and chips =)

The Windmill Pub , after visiting the TATE Museum, Cross The river walk like 3 blocks it iS worthy, i'm please to share they place si a local PUB whith Pizza , Billard and games like Red Bull Eye, it got crowed due Thursday night , The bar is skillfully manager Mike ando Nick, great fish and chips with tarta sauce and the correct complents , pizza is The speciallity but maybe next time , spectacular music and also güt restroms... Must visit Bar, Abür
Good pub located close to Vauxhall. Good selection of beer and food. They have a pool table and TV too. Good place for a after-work drink in a traditional English pub

The Windmill pub is located on Lambeth High Street which is just a stone’s throw away from Lambeth bridge. The nearest tube is Vauxhall which is a ten minute walk away. Lambeth High Street was once a bustling thoroughfare with shops and retailers selling goods and services, today there are no shops left on this High Street.

There has been a pub on this site since the late 18th century. The current building was built in 1880.

The decor here is traditional and feels that it hasn’t changed for many years. That said, the place is immaculate and the fixtures and fittings look new but new thirty years ago. The seating is a mixture of poser tables, low lever seating and comfy leather winged chairs. This pub’s traditional credentials are rubber stamped by the red carpet, pool table and dart board.

The beer choice is diverse and has a pretty strong lineup including four real ales. I had a pint of Staropramen, my pint was great and just under average price. The food menu is all about homemade pizza, most pizzas cost around £11.

The atmosphere here is welcoming, homely, this pub is easy to settle in to. I visited on a Friday lunchtime and the pub was fairly busy. There were a few suits, a group of American ladies enjoying the pizza and a few day trippers. The service here was first class, the chap who served me was down to earth and very personable.

The @the_windmill_pub_lambeth is only open Monday to Friday and currently closed until the 11th January. This is a superb pub and can’t recommend a visit here highly enough. Great beer, hearty food and a pleasant ambiance, get this pub on your radar for 2023, you’ll love it.

A super little backstreet pub, just south of the river. Super staff and super service. Just along the road from the old Royal Doulton Offices adorned with very fancy brickwork. A great place to drink
