We stay with friends in Clapham a few times a year and stumbled across this absolute gem yesterday while looking for a decent independent coffee shop.the brunch menu is indeed excellent. We both chose the poached egg with prosciutto benedict. Unfortunately they were out of the pastry they use for this dish, so we had it with toast......land guess what? It was still superb! I live in Brighton where we are point be a plethora of really good Indy coffee shops, and Tart is right there with the best. A very friendly atmosphere, excellent coffee, unhurried and great service with background music that doesn't get in the way. Guess I've just found a new Clapham stopping point for my visits :-)
I just wanted to say thank you for the lovely cafe you have in Clapham.
I have been here 2 days in a row and today had the vegan soup and loved it !!! The best carrot soup I had in my whole life.
Please congratulate the chef and the lady serving at the tables today, she was very efficient, friendly and very attentive.
Yesterday the lady serving on the tables was a little too shy but the gentleman with Spanish accent ( i think) was very attentive.
I live in Southampton and come often to Clapham, next time will come with my partner and hopefully you will have vegan tarts ;).
I saw that you want to expand Tarts, and I like the way you have that info on your menus.
Southampton needs a place like this and specially with vegan option.

Very tasty food for very reasonable price, given it trendy London. Staff were lovely despite us taking up lots of room and making a mess with our kids. I was a bit worried they might be a bit snooty, but not a bit of it. They went out of their way to make us welcome. Great customer service.
Been hoping to come here for two years, and it was every bit as good as I'd hoped! Highly recommend the Tart Royale :)
Thank you to the lovely honest staff and customers of Tart who kindly handed in my lost wallet on Easter Monday which I must have accidentally dropped after popping in for a delicious coffee. Much appreciated and a great place - highly recommended.
Great coffee, cakes, tarts and salads and service friendly and efficient. I recommend the mushroom, kale and ricotta tart and been salad in tahini sauce. Yum!

The tarts are amazing! We were sitting outside and at least two groups of people walked past, saw our food, said "that looks nice" and turned around a walked straight in. The pain au chocolat was a bit dry - best to stick to the tarts (chorizo one was incredible) and the salad (the rice one was really good).
Undoubtedly the best little venue to have practically on my doorstep!! Highly recommended for excellent tarts, tasty salads and yummy bakes! Friendly owners, staff and all round great service.

Fabulous spot for lunch or a coffee! The tarts are incredible as are the salads and there are no words for the peanut butter brownie! Very friendly lovely staff too! We will be back soon!

Everything from the lattes to the walnut bread to the eponymous pastry is delicious. Plus the people who work there are wonderful and cheery. It's a place where every detail is considered, be it the decor or the toppings on the bread. Loved it.
Amazing tarts! Visited when they were selling tarts in the farmer's market. Thrilled to see they have a store now and can't wait to go back!

The very best tarts in town!
The cabin-like wooden interior, together with the baskets of croissants and madeleines lying about quickly made me think of a chalet when entering tart. Surely enough, chalets aren’t necessarily French but I can’t control my thought processes all that much. Location: Tart, Clapham, London

This weekend David and I set out for a flat brunch in our new area of Clapham, determined to find a little gem of a brunch spot. When we locked our eyes on the very cute and very Instagram worthy Tart, we dived in hoping we'd found our new weekend local.

Second time coming here. Good atmosphere and quite so it’s easy to meet up with friends. Would recommend grabbing the lattes! Hadn’t had any issues getting a small table each time. Would bring my friends again!

My favourite cafe in Clapham by far! Absolutely love the range of healthy salads, not so healthy but delicious tarts and definitely not healthy but worth every calorie cakes! Great value for money. Trendy, contemporary decor and lovely staff. I return multiple times a week!
Fantastic local independent coffee shop we have visited many times. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful, always taking the time to ask how we are and making us feel welcome. Great coffee and freshly prepared food. I would definitely try the tasty Anzac cookies.
This is a lovely little coffee shop, with excellent coffee and a pleasing selection of cold drinks. Great Clapham vibe, without being too pretentious. Never actually tried a tart but they also look good! The staff are very friendly and the service efficient. Only thing worth flagging up is that they only take card payment....I find this more convenient, but worth knowing before you go. Highly recommended and a local favourite of mine!
Great breakfasts, good atmosphere, and consistently lovely staff! Even when it gets busy they are attentive and welcoming. I haven't tried their sweet tarts, but if they're anything as good as their savoury ones then they should be to die for. My personal favourite is the tomato, caramelised onion, and gruyere combination.

Friendly service, tasteful decor. The prices reflect the surrounding gentrified area so you won't get a pleasant surprise when the bill arrives. Still worth a visit. I had an egg based breakfast and it was great.
The stuff were very friendly, the coffee was good, the brownie was heavenly and the tart I had with mushrooms and gorgonzola was superb. I had my laptop with me and I really enjoyed a relaxing morning while doing my work. Will definitely go back more than once.
Great food and coffee. Tarts are quite filling but salads are also great so I end up with getting combo. Baby friendly - changing table available. Gluten free options available too (super tasty cornbread. Yumm...)
What a lovely experience my husband & I had at Tart.Yummy tarts, lovely fresh delicious salad.Hommade cakes worth every penny. the service was excellent too,although very busy, Julia the manager had time to have a friendly chat about cafe & the local area. Very cosy space with fabulous, genuinely friendly staff. Had a coffee with a piece of cake, both delicious and served quickly. Gorgeous views of the park and loads of natural light in a nicely decorated space. Perfect for long weekend coffees.
This delicious spot has become one of my regular lunchtime hangouts! They offer a small (but mighty) selection of tarts and salads, always fresh and really yummy. An added bonus, you can get your coffee made with a selection of milk alternatives including coconut, soya and almond. The coffee is roasted locally and is always great, and the staff are lovely too. Only downside? An eat-in lunch can run you about £10. But if you've got the dough -- it's worth the spend!

Tarts are second to none of quality & taste and they do cater for your taste & eating requirements, e.g. vegetarian, gluten free etc.
Cakes they have a really good choice, but I would recomend the Carrot Cake & the Red Velvet.
