Above 1 michelin star. On this very basic summary I have eaten there 8 times. Amongst the top five for cuisson in central London. Tom Kemble is a superstar in the making, and FOH team compliment him well!
Proper good food here at this Michelin starred restaurant. Good service and very well executed dishes. I would happily return again.
Quite a formal setting, but the service was warm and welcoming. Tasting menu was great. Not one of those 8 course events. More like a standard meal - starter, fish main, desert. Food was . Not maybe in a big blockbuster flavours way... Rather in a more refined way. Wine pairing was terrific, if a bit on the pricey side - £65 for 4 glasses. But there were some crackers in there that you wouldn't normally get to try.
Still one of the great spots in London, in terms of food and wine. Although after having visited several times over the last few years, my perception is that less effort has been put into the food recently. It's still excellent, but not quite the stellar meals I have had there in the past.
Lovely Restaurant. Great food, great service and a welcoming and relaxed environment. We had dinner at the restaurant and was really impressed by the execution of the dishes and the wine pairing. Service was top notch and they have a relaxed and welcoming approach - for us, that made the experience complete. Would definitely recommend and will return.
Not cheap but absolutely lovely food. We went on a Monday lunchtime and swapped our starters and mains half way for that tasting menu experience. Gaspacho and courgette flower + crab starters and monkfish and duck mains, with rosé wine. Then we had the cheese selection and a carafe of Cote de Rhone red. Impeccable service and delicious food - not the sort of thing you can easily do yourself. The bill was a bit scary at GBP160 but we went home feeling we'd had a wonderful gastronomic experience.
A charming restaurant with good not great food. Solidly in the 1 Michelin star category. The wine list has some real steals and the staff were personable and very professional.
