As a visitor from the US, I had the pleasure of starting my day at this charming restaurant in London, and it was a fantastic introduction to the city's culinary scene. The breakfast here surpassed my expectations with its delicious offerings and impeccable service.
The food was simply delightful, with a variety of options that catered to different tastes. From traditional English breakfast classics to creative twists on familiar dishes, every bite was a delight. The flavors were fresh, and the presentation was aesthetically pleasing, setting the stage for a memorable meal.
The service was top-notch, with a friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped in. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and ensured that I had everything I needed throughout my dining experience.
The restaurant itself was a visual treat, showcasing a beautiful and authentic design that captured the essence of London. From the elegant decor to the attention to detail, it created a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhanced the overall dining experience.
All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, especially if it's your first stop in London. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and the captivating ambiance makes it a perfect choice to kickstart your day in the city.
Delicious food at a reasonable price with outstanding service from Victor. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, and the food all arrived quickly too. We had the Veggie Breakfast and the Soul Burger, and Victor gave a great recommendation for the dessert by suggesting the brioche doughnuts.
We went for a lovely meal at the rail house last night, thought we would try something thats different and does great veggie stuff, I absolutely loved it and highly recommend this especially for veggies too. My husband who loves meat enjoyed his dishes too. Wine was slightly above average price per glass.
Cute place near victoria to have drinks or a meal. Loved the decor inside, and the seating outside is super nice now the weather is getting better!
Nice breakfast spot if u're around Victoria. I had Eggs benedict with ham & it didn't disappoint. The larger portion is quite large however. Victor was friendly & charming.
Saturday 14 May 2022 at approximately 10pm and everywhere is closed or about to close in Victoria London........ what's going on I ask myself??? It's been a strange night, the underground was virtually empty until football fan descended upon us two stops before Victoria station.
After searching, we come across Rail House and are greeted by very hospitable young man, whom we later learn is Giuseppe the manager. Despite the fact the kitchen is about to close, he remains calm and inviting, unlike the other restaurants. We are seated for our convenience inside, as our out of town guest, presumed that summer in London meant non stop sunshine 😂.
We place our order - the chicken bun, soul burger, miso grilled sea bass, a side of the crispy okra (in hindsight, we should have ordered more of this - it was perfectly moreish), chips and the salted cod fritters to start. All in all, this was a lovely meal. The ambience was relaxed, airy, a chilled vibe, so much so that we laughed and talked till they closed. Again the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to enjoy the evening till literally the last minute. There aren't many places that sport such a welcoming and accommodating attitude in London, and coupled with the delicious food, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Rail House Cafe in Victoria.
I would say all food I tasted was great I enjoyed each dish. Our waitress was
great and gave us bags to take food away to prevent food waste. The thing that lets this place down is the lift as it's difficult to use and takes a long time
Went for brunch on Mother's day. Ran late unfortunately but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. All staff were friendly and helpful, great service. The place is spacious, plenty of space of buggys and kids. Plenty of vegetarian options as well, highly recommend for a brunch or even just a drink.
I had the pleasure of stopping at the Rail House yesterday (Tuesday 8th August) to meet my brother for drinks. We were seated at the bar and quickly offered the choice of still, sparkling or tap water whilst we looked at the drinks menu. The Rail House offers a wide selection of wine, lager, cocktails and more, all of which are reasonably priced considering the location and venue.
Both myself and my brother were recommended drinks by a bartender, who absolutely hit the nail on the head for what we were looking for. We were then served by a young man called Jeet, his customer service and attention to detail was outstanding and he really ensured we had a great time even though he was hard at work. Thank you Jeet!
I have to say, it was really noticeable that all of the staff looked like they enjoyed working at the Rail House, which brought a fun and positive atmosphere to the venue.
Overall, a really enjoyable hour or so was spent here and I will definitely be returning.
The food is lovely and the service is satisfactory. The atmosphere is quiet and chilled and it is a great place for a casual meal with good quality.
Lovely venue with brunch and main courses to enjoy. We were able to sit outside which was nice. There was a moderate delay in getting one of the guests meals out compared to the others which they did apologise for. Good, tasty dishes.
My wife and I had the loveliest dinner at RHC - a night to remember and a terrific souvenir of our time in London (on holiday from Australia). The food was delicious and the vibe is wonderful there, but what will stay with us is the service. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, none more so than Marius (not sure of spelling, sorry), who is from Poland. He was absolutely fantastic - so professional but also genuine and funny. He took lovely photos of my wife and I too. A fantastic night all round!
