Held my 50th birthday party here in the top bar. Venue was perfect with lots of friends and family and nice safe environment for many kids of all ages. Ordered a big spread of food, which was an excellent and interesting mix of buffet foods. Hired a speaker set for music. Staff were very helpful and thoughtful throughout. I would definitely recommend.
Really enjoyed The Lord Raglan and they served ice cold beer :-)
Lovely old pub. Great pie and mash. Perfect to walk into after a dreary walk in the rain. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Lovely pub with great bar staff, loved the food.
2nd best pub in the square mile
Only one better is the Albion
The manageress is a brilliant hostess
Brilliant pub been a long time since I've had a drink I there but used to drink in it regularly
Fab location, fab ambience, fab staff - exceptional management xxx
A quality pub. One of my favourites in London. Pint of London Pride every time.
Jayne and the pub are the best in the city by miles !!!!! TOON TOON
If we make it back to England Jane, it'll be one of the first places we pop in
Best Pub in the City by Miles!!!
Stopped in for lunch after a visit to the Museum of London. Nice and quiet being Sunday in the City, so very pleasant. Had the veggie fish & chips (battered haloumi, mushy peas and chips), and co diner had Philly steak open sandwich. Both delicious and very filling. Drinks typical prices for London. Staff lovely.
Can't comment on food as I was here to meet friends for a quick drink between work and a dinner reservation nearby. The 2 for 1 Pimm's hit the spot! Very friendly staff and clientele.
Will definitely be back!
Very happy with the food and service here. The food arrived quickly and the portion sizes are almost too generous! That’s not a complaint of course!
Although it’s not a unique facility, I do appreciate being able to order the food and drink via an app whilst seated at the table, avoids any doubt what was ordered.
The staff were friendly, attentive and wearing Christmas themed jumpers, which is always good to see at this time of the year!
Nice atmosphere at well - the place was quite busy, but it wasn’t too loud. Enjoyed the entire experience and was glad to have found the place.
🚇 St Paul’s
🍺 £5.50 Estrella
❤️ A traditional Greene King city pub.
.
The Lord Raglan is located on the grandly named St Martin’s Le Grand in the City of London and is just a stone’s throw away from St Paul’s Cathedral. The nearest tube is St Paul’s which is on the Central line.
.
Opposite the pub is Postman’s Park, a small park where you will find a tiled wall celebrating ordinary people who lost their lives trying to save others, this is both fascinating and heartbreaking whilst reading all the tiles, definitely worth a visit.
.
The building is Victorian and was built in 1855. This pub was previously called The Bush, the current name is in memory to a Crimean war hero FitzRoy James Henry Somerset (Lord Raglan)
.
The decor here is traditional and has lots of old world touches which is in keeping with the building. There are a few TV’s showing live sport and even a fruit machine if you fancy a flutter. A big added bonus and unusual for this part of town is that this pub has pool tables and dart boards.
.
This is a Greene King pub so their usual line up was available along with five real ale options. I had an Estrella which was crisp and under six quid which is great considering the area. The food menu is traditional pub grub, fish and chips costs £15.50.
.
There was a very relaxed vibe here on this Saturday afternoon, the sun was shining bright and most punters were happy to take shade in this boozer. After 4pm during the week it gets proper lively with suits quaffing pints and chewing the cud.
.
Although this is a chain pub, it was not to shabby. The look and feel of the pub is pleasant and the price point was a plus. There’s lots to see and do in and around @thelordraglanpub , this a good place for a pit stop.

Walked past initially but the reviews turned us back.
Lovely atmosphere, staff were incredible.
Maria was very attentive and friendly.
Would definitely come back.
For the other half there's hanging baskets outside for a cheeky insta (she wrote that bit)
Jayne and her team, moody especially are the friendliest and helpful team in London. The Lord Raglan is not to be missed out on we can’t wait to get back there soon! Affordable food and drink. Thank you Jayne and team!
Jordan was amazing, took our cold food back ! He was so good.
Food was good. The atmosphere was cool, typical pub feel. Our waiter came across a little sad which put a damper on the mood (I hope she's ok). Typical bar feel, recommend going
We went at a quiet time on a sunday so not much atmosphere. The food was great & plenty of it (couldnt manage dessert). The staff were very friendly & helpful. Snooker tables upstairs so I expect the place is buzzing on a weekday.
Such a lovely spot for a pint after touring the Tate across the way! Landlady Jayne and her staff are super friendly and the place is cosy and clean. Menu looked amazing but we had just eaten. 💛
A deceptively large Victorian pub, with a dark wood and dimly lit interior, and a few tables out front. I was surprised to find, when visiting the toilets, that the upstairs bar has two pool tables and screens for watching sport.
I’m not really a fan of Greene King ales but this place has a really large selection of ales, craft beers and lagers. As others have said, the staff are really friendly.
I do prefer other pubs in the area but, particularly if you are a big group, this is a good choice.
It was quiet on a sat. Food served v quickly. I had 2 side dishes which were lovely. My friend had the steak pie. Staff were friendly. Would visit again.
Fantastic little gem near St Paul's station. Awesome staff, Moody and Jayne really took care of us when I went there for post birthday dinner!
Delicious food and great vibe. The staff are really nice and cool. If you're looking for a busy and happening time, better visit on Friday evenings. A bit expensive.
Lovely old pub. Stopped off for a half. Wasn't overly busy but nice inside with 2 pool tables upstairs. Lovely flagstone floors too.
A delightful ans suprisingly spacious pub just a bit north of St Pauls cathederal, slightly of the normal beaten track, so not always as crowded as venues on the major destinations.
A freindly and efficient welcome from the staff. Plenty of room downstairs and just as much on the first floor! Also Two pool tables upstairs, not too many of those in this part of London (how many posts will I get, pointing out my complete ignorance of the area for making that statement. OK I know there are some but I haven't found that many!). Called the Lord Raglan since early(ish) Victorian times having previously been the Bush and then the Mourning Bush - for reasons you can discover in the hostelry. Apparently also a haunt of the late Bill Shakespeare (not in today. I certainly recommend a visit.
The Lord Raglan also has the boast to be the first home of The Thames Rowing Club, now based a bit further west. Nevertheless, first home here in 1860.
A nice pub located near the museum of London... Lovely decorated with mainly paintings and drawings, it serves a bunch of draft beers and food is pretty descent (we had the sandwiches), crew is friendly and helpful... Many families and locals in here, a good sign for us when it comes to chosing a pub.
