I love the falafels served here. Usually go for the falafel and guacamole with aubergine topping. It’s a great place to grab a nice lunch when you are tired of eating salad all week 😊😊..

Delicious falafel with fresh ingredients - it is one of the best spots for takeaway at St. Paul’s. The tahini sauce is perfect as well. The lunchtime queue is long but moves very quickly

My new found place for falafels, though 10 - 12 minutes walk from my office i prefer this over to the falafel shop near to cannon street.
Pilpel's falafel are crispier and their lunch options with Pita are good tasty and filling portions.

Amazingly fresh falafels. Salad is filling and healthy fresh. Do try the hummus and their tahini. Quite filling and value for money. Must go to place.

Pilpel tells a heartfelt story of a young boy continuing his Grandfather's legacy. Was he successful? Well, with 4 restaurants set up around Spitalfields and City, Pilpel is indeed off to a great start. The Middle Eastern street food is proving to be hugely popular with lunchtime queues out the door and with a short selection on the menu; the restaurant is focused on the quality of its dishes. The two ways to take your falafels away are in a pitta with salad and hummus, or in a container with a generous portion of all three with a pitta on the side. The falafels are crisp on the outside and soft in the middle giving them the perfect consistency and a taste that is uncompromising. The falafel is made with the 'secret recipe' which undoubtedly gives you a range of spices and provides you with the unique 'Pilpel Experience'. The addition of a choice of salad and sauces give it my stamp of approval for a lunchtime treat.

I think they serve the best falafels – may be because the falafels are brought to you right off the fryer, and topped with what I think is the best tahini sauce.  Pilpel use the best ingredients, fry the falafels in sunflower oil and make everything fresh onsite with no preservatives.

This Houmous and Falafel bar is a must for lunch if working around the city. The owner opened his first store in Brushfield Street, using his Grandfather's falafel recipe.

You need only look at the lunchtime queues to know something has been done right. Served warm, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, these little balls of delight are the best falafel I've ever had! You get the choice of brown or white pita, salad and extras.

Don't be put off by the queues, the staff handle them quickly and always provide a good service. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you may get a free falafel to scoff on whilst waiting. However, I do get upset if the person before me gets a freebie and I don't.

Lunch time favourite in paternoster square near st pauls. One of the best falafel in London.
The restaurant has various options of falafel (in a pita) or even in a container with a large number of salad options.
The restaurant has massive queues during lunch hours but dont worry, the service is very quick.
Favourite Dish: Greek Falafel in a pita. This option comes with feta cheese.
Very reasonably priced: Most of the options under £6.
No meat options, just egg (although never tried and not sure it it would go well, stick with the basics)
Highly recommended.

We happened to go to this place last weekend while strolling down St. Paul's.
It is just a few minutes walk from Liverpool Street Station
Food quality is very good.Freshly baked pita (white or wholemeal), amazing choice in salads (fresh and crunchy) and the falafel cooked just seconds before they are served.
I had this mediterranean falafel wholemeal pitta with guacamole. I must admit this was the best falafel I ever had.The salad is fresh and crunchy
Good value for money. They are also very generous with their portions.
A busy and bustling place with friendly and chatty staff
Highly recommended.

A Lebanese hummous bar very close to St Paul's cathedral is a perfect place for take-away.The falafels are so fresh and they are not at all dry from inside.A love this place and usually have it if i happen to be in that area. Falafels with pita bread and salad is complete meal and you would feel quite full at the end of the meal.

Between the tube station and St Pauls cathedral down a pedestrian only street. WOW!

I have eaten huge amounts of falafel in my life. This falafel is the best I have eaten in the U.K. The falafel is freshly fried and has the right amount of spice and nuttiness. They are also very generous with their portions. The pita bread is a good size, thick, fresh and does not leak or break apart when they fill it with as much falafel balls, humus, and all kinds of salad they can get in there. It makes a very, very satisfying lunch for around £5. There is more... These guys know how to treat customers; they offer fresh hot falafel to people waiting in the queue... so they don't go hungry. Please open up more branches.

Highly recommended! My favourite!

Falafel heaven! Crunchy on the outside soft and well cooked on the inside. Generous portions. Great salad bar. Make your own or choose one of the favourites and add fillings of a boiled egg or artichokes or aubergine or artichokes. Lunch times can be hectic but queues move quickly - service and the staff are helpful and super friendly!

This was my favorite meal in London. I think this will make some people mad but it's exactly what I wanted that day. A good salad adjacent meal with some of the best falafel I've had. My partner hates falafel and she even liked these ones. I'm glad we ordered extra falafel on the side.

Second time eating at Pilpel, first time was at the Commercial Road branch and it did not disappoint, not sure why I haven't eaten.more.times, perhaps as they don't have enough branches spread out in London. This particular branch was excellent as the other. Great customer service, quick and friendly. The good is amazing, everything from the falafel, aubergine to the salads, the sauces and tahini and the portions are generous and lets not forget the lovely and cute pitta bread they give. Food is vegan and healthy. We need more of this type of fast food rather than the typical fried wings, burgers and chips. Good price and very filling, dinner after work was sorted. Highly recommended and would come back again and again to eat here.

Main meal with extra topping, brown bread pitta and a can of drink for £10. Better quality and much more heathier than the local fast food restaurants. Ate late in the evening but very happy to have found it and will definitely go again.

Staff is very friendly.👍 Foods are delicious and vegetarian friendly. Under £10 including drink, really not expensive in London central.

Going through the reviews everyone seems to enjoy their food hence probably it is my taste what the problem is. In general I like falafel but this one just did not meet with my expectations. Also the cheering vibe during rush hour and loud music were not my thing at all. The lady giving free samples of falafel in the queue was a nice touch though. From time to time one of the cashier shook a bell and everyone cheered sorry but it was too much. Falafel was dry and not much of taste. Big portion but it just did not get me. It will not be my favourite place for sure. Try it and decide. Also you tell them what you would like to have and what else you want as an extra added to your pita or falafel box but you pay at somewhere else not there where you get the food from. Hence you have to explain them what you are having or they try to figure out and there may be mistakes like I was charged for extra Aubergine that was originally included in my box.

Staff working tonight 20 September were so nice. I hope they get the recognition they deserve! Food’s delicious (the falafel’s impeccable) but made even better by the great customer service
