The Red Lion, Barnes - London - Photo album

Super pub and huge on the inside. Great outdoor garden and front patio area is also good for catching the sun and watching the world go by. Sunday roasts are a must as we had had many recommendations to try one which we did late last year. Our most recent visit was for a small lunch and drink. I ha
Great pub, good design and very popular. A Fuller's pub, there's an above average number of taps with a very good selection, which isn't a surprise as the Fuller's brewery is just down the road in Chiswick. Went for Sunday Lunch, you'll definitely need to reserve your spot. Roast was excellent.
It's rare to find a really good Sunday roast in a pub, but the Red Lion offers one of genuinely high quality. Very tasty, good variety of veg and sides - you can tell a bit of thought and care has gone into it. Very impressed.
I loved this pub. It has a great vibe, trendy decoration, outstanding customer service and tasty food. The cod with cauliflower mash and fried calamari and prawns was superb. The wine options are great. Portions are not big but reasonably priced and full of fresh flavours. There is a beautiful gar
What a lovely meal we have just enjoyed. Great service from Sid, Shaun and the staff. Thank you for your patience with us being late, had elderly mother in tow! Cannot recommend this pub enough. Lovely atmosphere, friendly, warm staff and great food!
Honestly, I'm still amazed at the quality of food this place pumps out. For the price, ease, and quality you'd think you'd have to make a reservation at a fancy restaurant but not at the Red Lion. The Norfolk Chicken Milanese will blow you away as will anything else you order. Such a gem of a pub.
Always had great service here, food is always spot on and specials always change 👍 Lovely decor and seating available, plus there’s a warm fire place. Fresh flowers are placed around and many other small touches that bring a very cosy ambience.
Buy the baked spiced cauliflower. Clue: what looks like eggs isn't. Absolutely amazing, and more than reasonable prices for London. Great pint of London Pride.
Lovely place. I chose it as it looked like a nice place to end a summer bike ride along the Thames path with my grown up daughters and it was a perfect decision. It is a beautiful pub in the villagesque setting of Barnes, with a very chilled outside seating area (but the inside pub looked great as w
We arrived around 5 and there wasn't place for us. But the lady who talked to us tried to accommodate 8 of us (4 adults and 4 kids) . In the end we decided to sit outside and another lovely member of the staff made sure the heaters were in good working order. Food was delicious and the staff made us
Second visit since moving to the area and it just seems to get better! Superb Sunday roast, dessert was yum and fab wine list. Lovely attentive staff, service was fantastic. We were able to stay over our allocated slot time and they were super flexible with my family’s requests. Gorgeous settings an
Hosted a School End of Year for Parents. Always hard to find the right venue to suit all. The Red Lion was perfect , great service, good food and drink and excellent happy and smiling waiting staff. Super good value for money and guests were all very happy and looked after. Well done Red Lion Manage
Lovely pub next to the WWT in Barnes. If you haven't yet been, give it a go. During the day, they have some wonderful outside seats.
I was walking along the Thames Path and I took a detour. After passing a wetlands park I came to this lovely pub. I sampled the beer and then had the chicken and leek pie. Everything was wonderful. The service was fast and professional. The barman gave me good advice about the rest of my wandering.
brilliant selection of drinks and super friendly staff. beautiful venue too. highly recommended. worth checking special board as well.
As someone who loves pubs, this is definitely the best in Barnes without doubt. Couldn't recommend it enough if you're looking for a well looked after, friendly pub, with a fantastic beer and wine selection no need to look any further. The menu changes regularly and it's nice to see the chefs with a
Without a doubt the best roast in west London (and probably the whole city!) Exceptionally tender lamb shank, excellent pork and the accompaniments are all beautifully cooked. Service is exceptional as well. Equally delightful in summer on the terrace and in winter to warm up! 5 star.
