We were going to the Aldgate Curzon to watch a film so decided to try the Mayfair Chippy. I'd spotted it before when I'd gone past on a bus so it was on my list to check out because I wanted to write a feature for my blog. Mum was visiting us and she loves fish and chips so it was a no brainer. Mum had the cod and chips which she thoroughly enjoyed, said the batter was beautiful. My partner had fish cakes which he loved. I had the vegetarian fish and chips which is battered halloumi - wow, this tasted amazing, I'm still thinking about it now. The chips were very good. It's pricey but tasty!

Very nice place, not too expensive - actually really reasonable. I had the mussel as a starter and Shepherd pie (that’s really yummy) crispy golden brown crust, the beef is soft and juicy.

Mayfair chippy had spoilt “Fish and chips” for my life... how will I be able to find the same thing else where? Went in with an empty stomach... but came out fully satisfied... the fish is so fresh it “chips and slip” off from my fork thought the fish came alive. The chips are so “crispy on the outside and flakey on the inside” gawd... Love the staff for the right recommendations and they are very attentive to portions n details that is so comforting for tourist & first timers.

Best fish and chips I had in London. Service was polite and efficient. Prices were a bit on the high side but it was worth it. Try the mussels pop corn. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Really good fish & chips - made to perfection, although quite pricey. Welcoming, attentive & helpful staff with a smile on the face. The toilets were downstairs, so not so great for those with accessibility issues. It also gets quite noisy in here when busy.

Good fish and chip, but you have to eat quickly as it turn soggy after a while. Same as the chip after absorbed the oil from the fish. But overall it is good and worth a try.

New sister restaurant, just opened in the city. Good quality fish and chips, a bit expensive though. The place is nice, staff is accommodating. Lunch time is often busy but it's the city so nothing strange about it. I especially liked the tartar sauce and the way my fish was battered. Worth visiting. Go for the Mayfair classic for a complete meal.

A great little restaurant with fried Gluten Free options including scampi and fish and chips! Attentive staff, kids menus, and crayons for the children. All around great experience.

The fish and chips here is easily the best I've had, and definitely up there for tastiest meals in general. Classic cod and chips, with amazing tasting sauces/sides. A little on the pricey side but well worth it, especially with the great and prompt customer service too.

Some really great fish and chips! 100% would recommend except they are quite pricy. On top of that, they tacted on a service charge and tax! First time I've ever been charge directly for tax so I'm quite annoyed. The tarter sauce is definitely the best out of the 3 so I stuck to it. Cider was also quite tasty.

The BEST vegan fish and chips!! Made with jackfruit, tofu, and seaweed. The texture is as close to real fish as I’ve ever seen in a vegan option. Really lovely umami seafood flavour, just like fish! Got the full platter option with mushy peas and curry sauce as well. Excellent chunky tartare sauce, and the vegan mushy pea recipe used didn’t sacrifice the ‘buttery’ smooth taste. Definitely my favourite chippy!

New addition to the fantastic Mayfair Chippy. This is not your regular chippy, expect a fancy but cozy little place and great service. The food itself is perfect as you would expect, the reviews are spot on. Get their special Mayfair Classic, you won’t regret it.

It is what it is - absolutely delicious! My favorite part is the variety or sauces you get to combine with the fish. The fish itself is great, of course. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

The Mayfair Classic with cod was absolutely incredible. At £16.25, it is surely more than the average price paid for fish and chips, but the quality is worth the price. You can also build your own Gin & Tonic. The Hayman's London Dry is a favorite with Mediterranean Tonic garnished with cucumber and rosemary.

Definitely a spot to check out when visiting from out of town. One of the only places open in the area on a Sunday evening. Tasty food and would recommend the Chip Butty and the Classic.
