First time visiting a hotbox and it will not be the last, the food, service and drinks were all topnotch and it is somewhere I will definitely be visiting again! I had the Brisket Hash, my partner had the Chicken Waffle and we also order a side of the Brisket fries to share. All the food was delicious! We opted to do the bottomless drinks option which was good value and most times staff needed no prompting before topping your drinks up. As a heads up near-all cocktails are prosecco based but very different and it also provides unlimited prosecco too. Fantastic time, will be back.

Best Thanksgiving ever! Their normal menu is amazing but they out did themselves with starters of tacos followed by beautifully smoked turkey for main course with corn bread, slaw. Staff were brilliant and so friendly, took care of everything we needed. Highly recommend for some of the best bbq in London!

Small menu, but great food. The Tacos are so yummy. All good is rich and full of flavour. The beef ribs are so tender, the meat just melts. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. No complaints.

Bottomless booze for £25 on weekends and the bloody Mary’s are great. Brisket poutine - hubby not enamoured and craved more of the classic version but I loved. The chillis freshen it up and the brisket tasted great. I opted for truffle and fontina cheese which had a runny egg hidden underneath, charred asparagus served on a wedge of thick fluffy toast. Delicious. Hubby had smokey ribs which came with a great sauce. Everything we had was tasty - food, drinks the lot. So much flavour. Brunch came in at just over £100 - 2 mains, 2 sides and about 8 cocktails. With cocktails in London averaging about a tenner a go, I think it was good value for money. Food was quick, service was great.

The people of HotBox Spitalfields were pleasant and attentive. Upon arrival, I was seated and offered water. The menu is not large but for good reason. The food that they serve here is cooked really well. You can tell they have mastered the food they cook here. The short ribs were delicious. I got the smoked platter which has a bit of everything. The hot link was my favourite. I wished they sold this separately. My friend had the bandit burger and was satisfied. It was cooked well and was a decent size. The bottled cider was only 300ml which I was a bit disappointed with. We got desert and choose the deep fried Oreos. They were great. The warm chocolate sauce Wasa nice addition. Overall, a good night. Good atmosphere with great food.

The food here is amazing, and everything on the menu has so much flavour that you'll just keep eating till you go into a food coma. The bottomless drinks are very good, and the prosseco is delicious. I will definitely return for another amazing meal, thanks!

Everything was exceptional. The attention to detail on the Tacos were 👌🏻 The smoked platter was all kinds of yes tho, them pork ribs were something else. Venue itself is it a great location, plenty of seating and I'd 100% go back! @thefatfoodieuk

Had an insanely good meal here last night, the atmosphere, food and drinks were all on point. Had a drink in the basement first, the artworks down there are a nice touch, then moved on some tacos and wings followed by the platter. Everything was succulent and bursting with flavour; I particularly liked the pickled scotch bonnets that adorned the platter. Reasonably priced too with our meal coming to under £80 including service (and we ate and drunk a lot!)

The restaurant interior looks beautiful and has lovely bottomless brunch at good price. We came in quite late around 1.45pm and ordered pancake and waffle chicken. The waffle chicken was a bit disappointed initially where the chicken meat was not hot enough and bacon was really over cooked and hard to eat. The waitress took back the dish and came back with the re-fried chicken and overly toasted waffle. My wife’s pancake was cold as well and it was brought back to the kitchen. The chef made the pancake again and tasted better after its cooked. The waiting staff was kind enough to provide some drinks as result of the issue. The service was incredible. Would advise maybe book for your brunch earlier to get freshest hottest dish from the kitchen.

For the carnivore and those who love BBQ. Nice flavoursome and nourishing. Mains are good portion...should just satisfied the average meat lover. The side order chips was lovely...although a bit small would definitely recommend it. Good and friendly table services.

HALAL STATUS: Halal food options (prepped & cooked separately) • Alcohol & pork served. Currently, HotBox has two items on a concise menu, namely the Beef Rib Tacos, and the Smoked Brisket burger, as well as a BBQ jackfruit burger. HotBox though is a story of two halves, with us having visited them on two separate occasions. While the menu is, admittedly, limited, our first visit during opening week saw us only try their Beef Brisket burger, which turned out to be chalk and cheese in comparison to the one we were served the second time round. Perhaps this was just one of those days, because HotBox does have some very good reviews in general. Having said that though, and given the dearth of such cuisine, it's worth trying them out (and do let us know in the comments section below how things went).

What can I say about Hotbox? It is absolutely fantastic. Booked a table for 12, it was spacious and not cramped at all. Staff were attentive and on the ball with drinks orders. They had run out of glasses for beer, so some of us had to drink out of the can whilst others enjoyed glasses. Which was pretty funny but not enough of an issue to warrant complaint. Now the food...I ordered the shredded crispy duck with cranberry & scotch bonnet jelly as my starter. It was the perfect size before my very meaty main. The duck was succulent and tender. Cooked to perfection. For my main, I had Brisket Poutine as a side with the smoked selection. It was like heaven served on a wooden slab. My biggest complaint with my main...the poutine was not larger. That's how good it is. I may have found my new favourite place for smoked meat in East London. Bravo

Very good. Good food, decent BBQ outfit, service could have been sharper, I’m sure they could have got more drinks out of us! We were a group 14 however, great pork belly ribs, excellent brisket fries and great mac & cheese. The soft shell crab slider was incredible.

2 people, 45 mins, bill of about £100. Was it worth it? HELL YES. Some of the best smoke house food I’ve had hands down. Cocktails 10/10 (majority of our bill as well) and probably the best Mac & Cheese I’ve had EVER.

Very well slowly smoked ribs. Not over seasoned, the ribs taste juicy with mild flavor of smoking. Even without taste, it is delicious. Brisket Poutine can be improved. It needs the gravy to become thicker. Doughnut Oreo is a good idea of dessert. But cocktails could be been better. A decent place for carnivores

What an amazing find this is ! I am blown away with their high quality foods and wonderful atmosphere. They really know how to grill their meats and how to make a juicy, delicious burger. I've had GBK, Five Guys, Honest Burgers, and other dozens of mainstream ones, and their Bandit Burger takes the cake (or burger in this case). It's massive and meaty and saucy and everything else you expect from a perfect burger. Their barbecue meats and dishes are also bloody brilliant and will make you return for more! By the way, their brunch menu is even better than their dinner one, and I think it's even more more diverse. You can choose from pancakes, french toast, steaks, burgers, tacos, etc and they're all fantastic. I know. I tried them. By the way, there is a 12.5% service charge added to the bill but I personally don't mind paying it because the staff are super nice and attentive !

Great place to grab brunch to kick off your day exploring Shoreditch! My meal and the experience were both top notch. Service was great, our waitress was friendly and kept our drinks filled up all morning. With a bottomless special of bloodies and prosecco, you can definitely get your dose of liquid brunch at Hot Box as well. Fun spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner, and at a fair price point. Decided to just turn up 5 minutes after they opened on Sunday (didn't book as thought it wouldn't be that busy... how wrong was i). Thankfully they had seating on a high bar area that we didn't mind using. The food was amazing (Brisket Hash & Pork Belly Benedict) and then decided to have the Deep Fried Oreos.....OMG, where have these been in my life. Definitely worth the visit just for the Oreos.
