Mahdi - London - Photo album

Great food, really great food... even for just one person! It wasn't a particularly busy Monday afternoon and I honestly came at the perfect time. I was literally the only customer there (other than two take away orders), naturally I had lowered my expectations. The food turned out to be so nicely c
The food was delicious! The setting of this restaurant was beautiful! It felt you were in another country/on holiday! The staff and service were lovely, friendly, and quick. The bread they provide is freshly made and you will see this as you enter the restaurant, which was cool! We ordered two mix g
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mahdi, a Persian restaurant, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The mix grill we ordered was outstanding, offering a tantalizing array of perfectly cooked meats that left us craving for more. The flavors were exquisite, and each bite was a delightful e
Food and decor is very good, restaurant does not serve alcohol. Could not give 5 stars as they have no aircon. It was very stuffy inside and we were happy to leave for a breath of fresh air outside.
The food was good and it came in a reasonable amount of time, and was of course halal. We went in the afternoon and there weren’t many people so it wasn’t too loud. The decor was very memorable and cultural which made the atmosphere pleasant. One thing I’d say is I hope they are able to accommodate
We quite often celebrate family reunions here. I really like the decor. The food and service is also excellent. The fact that it is almost full with a good mix of folk proves this point universally.
Mahdi is one of the best Persian restaurant in London. The food was great as always and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.
Amazing food! Big portions, fast service, cozy atmosphere! The food was super tasty, I definitely recommend the Chelo Morgh, which is grilled skewer of juicy marinated chicken, served with rice. The bread is amazing, it is freshly made in a traditional oven.
This is my favourite Persian restaurant in London. The food is incredible, good portion and the flavours bring you to Iran in a heartbeat. Love their Tahchin and their Mirza ghassemi, they are a must!
Good and traditional-looking interiors. Staffs were very attentive although I didn't like their attitude towards customers. But the food was served really quickly in like a couple of minutes though it was a busy weekday night. The food was good and the portion sizes were big. It's on the pricier end
Amazing restaurant! We had a great time, the food was delicious and the dough is the best! Will for sure return soon.
Went with a few friends because it was one of the few places I could find that served tahdig. We ordered 6 items from the menu: Crispy Rice & Stew (tahdig with ghorme) - ghormeh sabzi is one of my favourite dishes, so we thoroughly enjoyed this. Though compared to much of the tahdig I've had in my
We enjoyed a lovely meal Friday evening, but were disappointed with the service and our seating although we booked the day before. We were in a corner with a great view of a vacuum left in the dining area and an open door to the service area, which was frequently left open allowing cold air inside
Loved the food and good portion size especially considering the price; we ordered minced kebab with saffron rice and lamb shank with green bean rice.
Great persian restaurant. Very nice vibes and Great Food, from top to bottom. We even ordered my cousins wedding dinner here. Very nice personal and amazing dough. My family and I dine here whenever we have company.
Top notch 🔝 for both food and service. We ordered naan bread with various grilled dishes (mine was aubergine and lentils with rice) and they were all super tasty. Each dish was large portion. We shared a small pot of Persian tea between the three of us and it was more than enough. A main each pl
Really nice Persian restaurant with a good selection of stews and grilled meats. We ordered the mixed grill for 3 people and it was delicious. The portion size was absolutely huge and the gravy on the side took it to the next level. I recommend trying the fresh naan bread as well, which comes with a
