Really welcoming pub, popped in for a few pints with our dogs and staff came out with a bowl of water and some treats for them. Would recommend as seems very chilled place to enjoy a nice cold beer.

Great helpful and friendly staff, wonderful beer and one of the best cheese and onion rolls I have had in years (it really tasted great and was one of those moments when with the beer you thought that all was well with the world). It was a joy!

The most friendly and well beer stocked you can find in the area. Always a warm welcome with a great selection of beers, ciders and larger. The pot meals and sandwiches and pies are excellent too! Highly recommended!

Tucked away in leafy Carshalton a short walk from the station, The Hope is one of those pubs that if you are travelling to it on reputation or recommendation, just delivers. Always a good mix of quality Craft Beers, knowledgeable staff and a chilled environment. Indoors or in the Beer Garden, quality beer in a fine establishment. Oh and grubs available too, if you must...

There's something so incredibly calming about the Hope. On days where I'm feeling stressed or anxious I know there's always a house west of the hill with good food, pleasant company and great beer. Where the only sound is the babble of kind conversation and laughter, with no ugly characters in sight

Craft Beer & Tasty food! Everyone is welcome at this pub, no matter your culture etc. if you want traditional pub, go there. We like the HotPots and I especially enjoy the craft beers. Staff are friendly and customers are relaxed & very civilised. Dogs are welcome too.

Excellent pub near Carshalton Station. Seven cask beers on handpump when I visited including a porter and a stout. Three real ciders also available. Lots of outdoor seating most of it covered. Very friendly and helpful staff.

A truly excellent pub. Well kept ales. A good selection of ales We ordered a ham sandwich; it was very good. It was good because firstly it was real ham and secondly on a Saturday lunchtime they served the ham in bread that had clearly been baked in the past couple of hours. Then to cap it all they had about 8 Morris sides performing FOC all afternoon. A day to remember.

Very nice pub. Serves simple but nice home comfort food and they do lillies cider. Menu is a chalkboard on the wall. No fancy apps. Parking is easy. Just add your number plate to the machine as you go in. Warm.friendly old pub. Very good prices. And for those driving they have a lovely non alcoholic mango cider

Super big pub. Clearly a centre for its local community. Very nice range of beers. Food was excellent too. Several large rooms, and conservatory & yard our back. Handy for station. Strongly recommended.

The beer selection is great and it changes a lot so for people who love trying different things there is always something waiting for them. The staff is really helpful. The bar can get busy at times which is understandable because it is awesome but for a beer lover this the place to go. And stay for as long as you're allowed to :)

Obviously I will need to carry out much more detailed research with a qualified team but on the three times I have been here the staff have been friendly, the atmosphere really pleasant and the beer excellent. They have what looks like a very good value menu but I've not tried it as I've had some chili I made at home... That was lush by the way.

Excellent pub. Amazing line up of real ales. Stacks of seating inside and out. Deserves all the awards it has but a word of warning for them. Some of the staff need to remember that great service is the key to any great pub. Hope I’ve said enough..

Quiet for 2pm on a Sunday, but what a popular pub this is. Plus, has achieved many CAMRA Awards and well deserved to. Excellent ales and food. Try their pork and black pudding pie, other variants available as well. 'Pot' meals to savour and wonderful scampi & delicious chips.
