London Grind at London Bridge is a big concoction of cocktails, coffee, and food. And surely I was trying coffee there. The taste was dessert like and the aftertaste reminded me of hazelnut praline. So anyone wanting to try 'dessert' coffee instead of wine, are welcome here! Or if you were looking for a place, which makes cocktails infused with coffee, then London Grind is the place to have some Hot Flat White Russian: espresso, vodka, Kahlua and milk.

Extremely crowded on Friday & Saturday nights (like any other place in London tbh) but very calm during the weekdays. The atmosphere is nice and service is fast. I've tried their Matcha Latte, it was tasty (compared to all other awful Matcha Lattes that I've tasted). Never got a chance to try their breakfast but will do the next time I'm there!

Me and a few friends came here for brunch on Saturday. The place was quite full, but we got a table in 15-20 minutes without needing a reservation. The waiter was very nice, however they lost our order and made us wait an additional 15 minutes, which was very inconvenient considering that they didn't offer to compensate us for this misshapen. That's the only reason I won't give this restaurant 5 stars, because the food was truly phenomenal. We shared the buttermilk pancakes, the breakfast burrito and the coconut milk porridge. The porridge was just perfect, coming with peaches and nuts. The burrito was delicious, with the scrambled eggs being right on the note. I personally loved the pancakes, although my friends complained that the middle one was a bit burned underneath. Considering the low pricing of the food in relation to quality, I am looking forward to returning here.

There are way too many instances of London in that title! Grind & Co is a chain of espresso bars, cocktail bars and restaurants and London Grind is their location on London Bridge, just above Borough Market. My friend Anne and I ventured in one Saturday evening. The coffeeshop turns into a club-like atmosphere in the evenings and thankfully the food was just as bright!

This hipster coffee chain never disappoints ! The location is perfect and the menu has all the right selection for the coffee lover in you. The espresso martini is spot on if you're looking for something adventurous or even the Affagoto is just right.
The service is warm and the music is good which will have you coming back for more. They also have some good ciders and beers on the menu if you are the friend who doesn't drink coffee.

Keep Gobbling xx

Looking for somewhere for brunch last Sunday we decided to give London Grind one of the most popular brunch spots in London Bridge.

I'm a sucker for a good Flat White and it was definitely up there with the best, I also opted for the smoked salmon with poached eggs- which were cooked perfectly. Simple but really good, I'll definitely be returning to give their cocktails a try next time!

This is the first ‘grind’ where I’ve actually gone for cocktails and not a coffee but, coffee being their speciality, I managed to include it in my selection. I really, really liked this place and the sound of the food menu is sure to entice me back. There were three of us and we only stayed for one as we got there at least an hour later than planned (I have TWO late friends to thank for that). One of my friends ordered the Turkish Delight which was just like sipping the confection but in liquid form. In fact I would say it was better than the candy, as it was not quite as sweet. A beautifully light, flowery drink.

I had the pecan espresso, which was wonderfully sweet from the maple syrup and nutty from the pecan liqueur. I would have preferred if it was served without the chopped pecans on top as they kind of got in the way when sipping but otherwise, very enjoyable.

Right. This is my happy place in London. I love their Holborn and Shoreditch branch with passion too but this one is a must for me every Sunday with friends.

Alex, the manager is awesome, he always welcomes us and has some time for us to chat, just like some of the baristas we got to meet.

Coffee is without doubt one of my favourites in London, I usually get a flat white, I was never disappointed, and trust me, I had many. Their vibe and design is also something I'm in love with - the alternative music, the exposed brick walls and beautiful lights, the neon signs, the big windows, the tattooed baristas. This is not a quiet place to study or work, it's more for hanging out with friends, chilling, watching people, having a good meal and cocktails.

Their banana bread was the only thing I didn't really like so far, although the mascarpone cream it comes with is pretty amazing. Their chicken pesto salad is incredible - it is pricy but it's very filling, very rich, a perfect meal for a healthy lunch. I also tried their roasted duck - it's not my favourite, I'm a chicken person, but it was good.

I didn't drink alcohol when I went there one night and they were happy to make a tasty berry mocktail for me.

Any time I come back, it feels like home. Staff is welcome, always smiling, always helpful and now I know what to order for lunch.

They are also famous for their coffee cocktails that I haven't had the chance to taste yet but I'm really looking forward to doing so.

The humble coffee shop culture is developing all the time. Who decided coffee should just be a day time thing? London Grind is open from 7am offering breakfast, all-day dining with dishes such as Chicken salad, pomegranate, cavalo nero (£8.50) and King prawns, chicory, crushed chia seeds (£14). There’s cocktails too, plus if you sign up for a Black Card you can get cocktails for £5 all night on Mondays! Their Espresso Martini (£7) is said to be one of the best in London.

You may already know of the Shoreditch Grind cafe, the first in the group – an unusual circular building with a diner vibe to it. There’s Holborn and Soho too but the latest branch in that old iconic building on London Bridge is the groups first foray into serving up proper food, not just nibbles. With Borough Market on the doorstep they couldn’t find a better location for fresh produce. Well they probably could but this is a pretty impressive one.

We work a ten minute walk away from here for our ‘day job’ so were excited by its arrival, apart from the wonderful Shard, Bump Caves and The Breakfast Club, there’s not a huge amount around these parts. Plus it meant that if we got our arses out of bed a bit early, we could pop in for breakfast before work which was is huge novelty for us.

It was pretty buzzing at 8.45am, mostly full of workers getting their morning coffees although we noticed the kitchen churning out a lot of breakfast takeaway orders. The music was louder than you’d expect for this time of day, I’d love to know what decibel it increases to by night. In case you’re interested, they were playing a very moody chill outy album called Dusk to Dawn by Emancipator (thanks Shazam).

Staff are warm and friendly, decor is fairly industrial – you know the look by now, exposed brickwork and ceiling, filament bulbs etc etc. I felt a little pang of sadness when I spotted the large neon sign hanging on the wall: ‘When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life’, remembering the late Wilkes’ final blog post.

Coffee was great, as to be expected, the Grind Espresso blend is a mix of Brazil Fazenda Sao Silvestre 40% Mexico Finca Muxbal 40% Guatamala Santa Ana La Huerta 20%. I had a Flat White (£2.70) and a Large Latte (£3) for him. These felt like pretty boring choices when there’s things like a Ristretto (£2.20) and a Long Black (£2.20) on the menu, but then I’d have to Google them* to remind myself what they are and I’d already spent enough time on Shazam.

After our coffees we had a juice each, the descriptions on the menu are non-existent, just Orange, Green, Amber or Red. We enquired further with our knowledgeable waiter and found the Red (£4.50) was beetroot and blackberry and Amber (£4.50) blood orange, lemon and ginger. They arrived in mini milk bottles which we’re convinced makes anything taste good. Seriously though, these were tasty juices.

To eat I chose the One-pan eggs (£7.50) with spinach, tomatoes, beans, pistachios although there was tonnes of other stuff I wanted to try, like the Banana bread with creme fraiche and honeycomb (£5) and the Raw breakfast salad of kale, broccoli, avocado, seeds, poached egg (£7). As you might have noticed, there’s no junk food here, it’s all pretty healthy stuff. My one-pan eggs was an unusual dish, so very sweet and filling, I couldn’t quite manage it all and wondered if I chose wrong. Meanwhile, Ade devoured his Breakfast focaccia (£7) – sausage, back bacon, asiago, egg, aioli and donated me a tiny mouthful of the perfectly cooked bacon.

We were hoping to swing by one evening before posting this to try a cocktail but we have acquired a cat (long story) and have been rushing home every night after work to make sure he’s OK. Don’t worry, this madnness won’t last long.

*For fellow coffee idiots, here’s a guide to what coffee’s what!

Having worked in the London Bridge area for near on 6 years, I've noticed a few things that to this day still gripe me with the biggest being that, with so much foot-fall due to the volume of people who pass through the area, why the hell are there not more trendier places to hang out? I mean, when the best you can do for a drink is a Balls Brothers or an All Bar One, you know you're in trouble. For ages I had hoped and wished someone would notice this untapped market and bring a taste of SOHO to SE1. At long last, my prays have been answered with the opening of Londom Grind right at the foot of London Bridge.

With its bright neon signs and trendy decor, the 3rd instalment of the Grind group (after the success of Soho and Holborn) is ably living up to expectations set by its predecessors and serving up a variety of cocktails, wines and craft beer along with some fine food to boot.

Starters of smoked mozzarella croquettes, whitebait & radicchio fritti and scallops with celeriac & crispy quinoa were on point providing a strong beginning to the meal.

However good the starters, the mains were that much better. The cod with purple sprouting broccoli & spinach and spatchcock baby chicken with cavolo nero & potatoes were both well cooked but it was the braised lamb shank with smashed potatoes & leek which truly showed the skill of the kitchen with tasty juicy and soft lamb literally falling off the bone; a true delight to eat.

If you're in need of a place to wine and dine in the London Bridge area, look no further than London Grind. You will be hard pressed to find any better.

Popped by here a few days ago while walking around the city. It was an accidental discovery by Steven Ambrose and we were pleasantly surprised by it. Lovely vibe, very hipster, great interiors, music etc. the menu was somewhat limited for me but went for the delicious scallops. Oh and as tourists in the city, we appreciated the free WiFi.

In my eyes you can't really go wrong with Shahshuka and the one pan eggs here are on another level (and you don't have to order them before 12pm!). Pictures speak louder than words, so I'm going to let the photo do all of the talking.

Great brunch in the center of London☺️ We had the avocado toast and the almond milk porridge. The bread was a bit too thick for my preference, but overall both dishes were great! The staff is lovely, the service is fast and they have good coffee. They have options for lactose intolerant persons and also several vegan options.

We loved this place! Had some of the best coffee we had while in London, the service was great (we loved our sweet server), and the food was awesome! The full English is great if that’s what you’re looking for but we were more in the mood for something else and we adored the eggs Benedict. Delicious!! Highly recommend.

First of all, I wanted to tell you that if you're ever in the City near London Bridge, please go visit London Grind Restaurant. From the Management down to their Staff to their service, you won't be disappointed. I wanted to try out their Smash Burger, I was told by my colleague that I shouldn't miss it. So this afternoon I thought let me go and try out this burger of theirs........ Wow I was taken back to the old days when Burgers were Burgers. The Smash Burger (Double layers) with Chips and Pulled Oyster Mushrooms made this incredible and memorable. Actually this is the 1st time in so many years that I've even enjoyed such a Burger that was this delicious. Trust me, if you love your Burgers give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

I meet up with a best friend of mine every few months and we always jump at the chance to go for 'Bottomless Brunch' because why not. This time round she suggested Grind at London Bridge. Adele was fantastic, she was so tentative and really helpful with the food choices. There's a great choice on the menu and sometimes I get easily side tracked so to have her suggest a few 'greats' for us to share was perfect. Will definitely be coming back.

Service is all right, the waiter was a bit creepy. The food is nice, given this is central London. The price i would say was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I can see from other people’s photo, that I wasn’t the only one who got burned sweet potato hash. I will return regardless. Near the tube which is a plus

Went to Grind to celebrate a hen party last week. The place is quite big and spacious. Perfect for meeting family or group of friends. It’s in the centre of London so always quite busy. Better to book in advance. The service was really good, we were seated very quickly, and they checked with us continuously till the order was completed. If I'm honest the food wasn't quite what I would have liked for the price point. Small portions, burnt toast and poached eggs carbonara was too salty. Overall it was good experience but it could have been better.
