Hoi Polloi - London - Photo album

Great food. Lovely interior and atmosphere. The service although could be a bit more on the friendly and sunny side.
From the moment you step outside the tubes in Shordeitch, you instantly feel this sense of being on a movie set. The last time I have visited the area it was way more dramatic! Still the charm of modern, warehouses, typical colonial /english and the locals scenographical looks and attitude, makes th
The food and service were superb and it's such a great, relaxed space. While we ate (and drank Bloody Mary's) a string quartet played recent hits. Lovely.
Hoi Polloi is an all-day restaurant inside the Ace Hotel, which means that besides being useful for literally any occasion you can throw at it, it’s an excellent spot for people watching. The restaurant itself looks like a very cool brasserie designed by Japanese architects, and while the food’s goo
Nice interior design, nice food, and nice music. Tips: Do reserve a seat before you go. And the entrance is inside a flower shop.
Afternoon Tea - Good value afternoon tea, in a pleasant restaurant. The scones were fresh and the clotted cream and jam were good. We came here on the recommendation of friends on the fantastic burger. They tagged along too. They were a bit disappointed as the burger had changed a lot since they’d been there, but it was a pretty decent one still. Seemed like good value for money and a wide range of interesting sounding dishes.
Great brunch! Enter via the flower shop out the front of the Ace Hotel. The French toast with caramelized banana was delicious!
Relatively expensive and portions are small, but the vibe is good. And if you are a guest at Ace Hotel, breakfasts are served here - so Eggs Benedict and cold-pressed kale juice would be a nice start to the morning.
Brunch for two on the Sunday morning before Christmas. Mexican eggs, avocado and eggs, smoked Salmon, rosemary potatoes. Plus great coffee and service. We were also treated to a string quartet.
