I recently tried this Japanese place and had a great time here. The food was excellent and was cooked to exception. There was a wide variety of pretty interesting and innovative options, especially in sushi. The service is pretty quick and efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly. The place is quite authentic as well. I would love to visit this place again!

This place is basically known for its food which is fantastic. The ambience can put you off because of it's old decor which seems to not have been changed since 1975. Anyhow the sushi is amazing retaining its authentic flavour and along with it they offer many Californian options as well. The food is so tasty that nothing prolongs on the conveyor belt for too long and the prices are quite reasonable as well. If you want to have good food at a good value this place should be your pick.

We went there for lunch and it was a great experience. Even though they don't have Japanese cooks the food was quite awesome and there was a wide variety on the menu to choose from. I personally loved the Sushi. But the greatest surprise was the bill which was pretty less as compared to other mainstream chains which offer worse food and charge a lot more.

You want to have most authentic sushi in this place of the town then this is the place for you.
This place is self service so can not comment much on the staff , though everyone there seemed happy to see us .
The portions of the food was good and filling,
I was pretty much satisfied by this place and will be coming again.

A very authentic Japanese place to visit. The salmon they use is extremely fresh and I simply love it! They also serve a variety of other dishes. To a name a few, they are miso soup, fried chicken, etc.
Here the pricing is done as per the saucer. It is best to sit near the wall, at the start of the conveyor belt. One is guaranteed to get the freshest items.

This place has a very original appeal to it and no pretentious air about it. It is quite a decent bet, although one would wonder that the place nearby might be a little more fun. In my idea, one should begin with a green tea and move onto some plates.

This restaurant serves some really good Japanese food. The dishes are served on a conveyor belt, so you sit at a place and just fill your plate with whatever you want until you are completely full. The pricing of the food is quite unique, it depends on the plate that you pick for yourself. This place usually gets really busy as they do serve yummy food. Surely worth a visit!

Although the place does not look very appealing on the outside, I have to add that it is quite the contrary in terms of food. It outshines all the fancy joints selling sushi and sashami. The reason it has an edge over the others is the freshness of ingredients used, with wasabi that is not flaky. In all the sushi experience is greatly authentic!

This place is chic and casual. Almost like somewhere you would love taking both your family and friends. I am a regular here; only because I love the character of this place. It exudes finesse yet it does not lose out on its simplicity. The concept here is that of 'what goes around', literally! Going around and being served on a conveyor belt, this place is very unique. The staff is helpful and amicable.

From the very inception of this place, we have heard some great reviews from family and friends. The service was that of good quality as the staff was extremely attentive. The atmosphere and ambience made the fabric of this place look very inviting. The chefs serve sushi generously with love and the best possible carp!

The sushi here is marvelous! It is extremely fresh unlike most other places. The portions too are very big and filling.
It is more delicious than many other take away places I have ordered from and eaten at before. I must say the plus point is the speed of their service. Alongside the prices here too are rather apt!

The restaurant is not just for sushi lovers. They offer great English food too.The chef is more than happy to oblige to cook something special that you want. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.
The decor is modern and comfortable. The ambiance is appealing.
Some of the reviews that criticize the place are nasty and do not justify its excellence at all.

The Japanese dishes that these guys are making are very authentic and delicious . I had green tea too and it was so refreshing.
This place do lacks in interior , they can redo that thing because it will surely help them out in increasing their number of customers .
The service is also very good and the staff seemed very welcoming.
The best part is that this place is not either expensive , considering the quality of the food that they have been providing you.
I will be visiting this place again.

To begin with the ambiance is warm and welcoming. Even if you are averse to this kind of cuisine, one can simply survive on pure rice and salty chicken that this place has to offer. They have a creative concept of ordering meals, they come to you with plates on a rail that runs around the restaurant , you sit in front of it and pick the plates off the rail. One pays for the plates one eat off ! Each of which has a unique pattern and price. Quite amazing a place and an experience will stay with you for long!

This restaurant is a wonder and rarely ever fails my expectations. A must try would be the salmon, avocado hand rolls. The service here is par excellence with very helpful staff. The prices of the food are very reasonable as well. The best bit is the self service on green tea one can take which is free!

This restaurant serves some great food on it conveyor belt. As the belt moves around, one can choose as they like, with plates telling you the price. I sampled the seaweed and miso soup. Both the dishes were excellent. In case one is looking to enjoy a food in lesser quantity, this is the place to visit.

I won't recommend you going there during evening but if you are looking to grab a quick bite then this is one of the places to go to. The quality of the sushi that I had was excellent. The prices charges are in a fairly reasonable range. The thing that I didn't like was their wash-room and the staff also needs some more training in order to better serve the customers.

This place does some really good cooking when it comes to sushi in a very reasonable price. Not a huge variety but I'm a regular and I have my favorites. The salmon sashimi is to die for, even if sometimes the slices are so small I have to have three portions to feel happy! The soft shell crab roll is divine and very filling. I would highly recommend this place.

A great place to visit. The atmosphere is what makes the place such a delight. It is very small and cosy; giving it a warm and homely feel.
One can hang their coat on the stand and be sure to grab some complementary green tea at the hot water dispenser.

I am a big fan of Japanese food, and this restaurant in London is definitely one of the best places to go to eat if you are in search of great Sushi. The prices are reasonable and the food is of good quality. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I recommend it to all.

The food was good , I would not say great but it was good enough to make you smile while having it.
The service was also good ,though they can use little more training but they were good with us so it does not hurt.
The ambiance was just normal and now a days everyone looks for the ambiance , I'm sure they can do something creative with the place.
PS : If you are going do try fresh delicious sushi , you will enjoy :)

This is my favorite sushi restaurant here in this city. As you enter, try and get a seat on the right side to get the freshest food. I went for green tea, gari, wasabi, soy sauce and chopsticks. Followed by prawn tempura, salmon and avocado hand roll, one of their signature dishes. I'm also a fan of their tobiko gunkan and amaebi nigiri. Definitely worth ever morsel!

The place is a small one with some cosy spaces available. The setting is a lovely one and he ingredients used in the preparation of the dishes are amazingly fresh. I must say that this place serves really delicious sushi though the prices are on an expensive side but believe me, the food is worth it.

I have been a fan of this restaurant but my last visit disappointed on various levels.
The chefs remove the sushi from the belt to pack for take away boxes which leave even less choices for the sitting customers. The belt was sprinkled with large rice mounds which was pretty naive and careless on part of the staff.
the service was exceptionally slow.
I will return again to see my favorite restaurant get back in the game.

The best bit here is the fact that the sushi is freshly prepared. They house all the classics such as tuna, salmon, eel, squid, soft-shell crab etc. The dishes here are always so well presented and look good irrespective of what they maybe. Th fish comes in big beautiful chunks. The tempura is light and cooked freshly. In my opinion this is the best conveyor belt sushi place!

If you are looking for something quick, then this the place to go to. You can't get a better value for your money. The food is always fresh and the quantity of food on offer is quite large. They also offer some authentic vegetarian dishes such a s seaweed salads. I would recommend you people to try their sushi and sashimi/nigiri.

Sushi when you’re pissed on Sipsmith gin is the best. B and I cruised into Soho après-distillery tour with a serious munch-on the other week, so decided to get trigger happy at the Kulu Kulu conveyor belt. Here’s a few of the highlights.

Salmon, tempura and avocado hand rolls were chocka with filling, stuffed into delicious crispy nori shells.

California rolls looked pretty as a picture and tasted just as good. The salmon skin ones were superb.

Top marks though had to go to the tuna rolls – the raw fish was pretty on the eye and super-clean on the palette.

Prawn katsu was a more standard affair, unusually it came with a homemade potato salad (unless I’m missing something about Japanese cuisine, which is likely.)

I should highlight that everything was accompanied with lashings of sake to the soundtrack the Spice Girls’ back catalogue blasting from the nearest speaker. I don’t think this was intentionally a Tokyo shade of bonkers but it fit the bill quite nicely.

Tiny sushi place. Sit around the moving belt and take your sushi, or on the tables. Basic decor. Fab food.

Small and cost, Kulu Kulu had been around for ages and has still managed to retain its appeal, despite chain sushi outlets having the same conveyor belt concept. The mini dishes are good overall, but there wasn't a stand-out dish. However, I did find the selection limiting, as plates and plates came out of the conveyor belt rather similar. I have been to places where they are more creative and "innovate" the dishes. Being central London, prices are elevated, and therefore, customers' expectations for more distinctive dishes increase. Service is responsive, and staff are friendly. Ambience was one of a "cosy chatty" backdrop. We enjoyed our dinner.

It is a small casual sushi conveyor belt spot located just off Piccadilly Circus. The food is pretty good but the portions could be larger given that it is expensive. The restaurant is small so would recommend coming in a small group or coming fairly close to opening time if going on the weekend as they do have a 45 min time limit when they are busy. Also take note that it is walk-in only. I would recommend the tofu, sashimi, tempura and what I believe is raw tuna mixed with some seasoning with spring onion on top but I can’t recall the name.

Fantastic place to go for conveyor belt sushi. Went here for lunch with a friend and we both really enjoyed the experience and the food. I'm particularly fussy with certain types of fish but I enjoyed everything I ate here. Definitely tasted fresh and made with care. Good value too for central London prices. Definitely be back.

SUSHI HEAVEN 🍣 📍London, Soho ⭐️ 5/5 💸£ 🍴First restaurant I give 5/5 stars! It has just become my favourite sushi restaurant in London ❤️ It's a small but cozy conveyor belt sushi restaurant operating in Soho since 1995! Insane right? We tried almost all the small plates and all was delicious. Sashimi and the aubergine plate impressed me so much 🤤 They only accept walk-ins so be prepared to queue, but I promise it's 100% worth it!

Super pleased with the food and atmosphere here, got filled up for a decent price with an incredible fresh array of large sushi, tempura, great quality sashimi! Constantly replaced, so you’re definitely not getting anything cold or stale. Much better than yosushi, and definitely hard to find conveyor belt places in London these days- happy these are still going! Very fast service too, very good chefs👍👍👍👍

The best sushi place in London I have ever tried so far :) So fresh and it tastes really good. They're quite busy in the dinner time. We had to queue but it didn't take us that long for waiting time though (15mins roughly) One good thing that made me think this place worths the hype is that they gave lots of fish and stuff inside the rolls💖 Will definitelty come back again soon!

Best sushi I’ve had in the UK. Portion sizes are huge and the food is very fresh. I went in the late evening and the chef was still making sushi in front of us. Bathroom is clean enough. Highly recommend.

Once you’ve eaten here you’ll want to come back again and again. My wife and I have been coming back for years, ever since we stumbled upon it. By the time they open at 12:00 the bar is almost full so be prepared to wait. This is a local sushi bar not a high end fine dining restaurant. Expect nice staff, good food and somewhere to enjoy it away from the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly Circus, just a stones throw away. Compared to the high street sushi bars, well, there is no comparison. The sushi is bigger, better and you’ll spend less here.

I've been going here since 2003 and it's still £ for £ one of the best sushi places you can go, especially in central London. They'll make anything you want fresh os don't worry about the conveyor belt if something looks like it's been doing the rounds too long! Super friendly staff, if you go make sure to order the crab hand roll, tempura hand roll and miso aubergine, these are a must, plus the fried salmon head which I love.

Great conveyor belt sushi restaurant and reasonable prices for central London. Sashimi was all delicious! Staff friendly and helpful. I was a little disappointed with the egg nigiri which is why only 4 stars as that's usually my favourite. Pile of empty plates for 2 of us hopefully speaks volumes!

Absolutely stunning food. Enjoyed it so much that we went back again the next day too. In fact, we'll now visit every time we're in London. Can not praise it highly enough - and this is speaking as a vegetarian too!
