Absolutely love this place .. hip and trendy bar that serve the best cocktails .. I can definately recommend Port Star, Expresso Martini and my favourite Mojito. Then the grill serve stunning steaks that melt in your mouth. A must is their Mac and Cheese with Jalapeños and chorizo. One word to describe.. amazing !!!
Can't wait to return... it will be soon.
Really nice place. Service food and drinks were amazing and the waiter was always taking care of us.
10/10
One of the best interiors, with the friendliest staff. Great food too! Loved it :-)
Very good quality food and drinks, well cooked and presented. Staff excellent, we are regular and we live in Nottingham, worth the traveling
Fantastic service & delicious food & beverages. I really enjoyed the atmosphere & the staff were excellent. Will be returning for sure.
Great wine selection and fantastic food. Amazing seabass. Only downside-the champers was flat in the saucer. I didn't complain as I did not want to set the dining experience off on a bad note. Staff allowed us to keep the table for 4 hours so very welcoming.
Really cool place to eat, drink and sleep 👍🏼
Best bloody Mary's in town I would say although you pay for it !!!! Not the cheapest place in town .....
Food was amazing....try salt beef salad and desert peanut butter and jelly is a surprise. Atmosphere is great. Only black people in the place so I will have to go more often to diversify instead of gentrify. Most definitely the place to eat. You will enjoy.
Really nice place to eat a very well cooked steak on Shoreditch. The space is big enough for group dinners. During the week doesn’t seems to be too full. It’s worth to ask for desert!! We were a group of 7 people and we pay around 35£ per person.
I love the relaxed vibes there. It’s a good place to write for university or just enjoy a good book. The people are also very interesting and friendly there.
Awesome breakfast. Been back for it 2 days in a row.
Brilliant comfort food.. Had a refreshing delicious gin cocktail after arriving from 24hrs travel from Perth, Aus, and my my it was the right thing to do.. Was definitely jelly of my fiancé's cheeseburger he had ordered. My jalapeño and bacon mac n cheese was ultra creamilicious however was basically like eating melted cheese and cream with a tad of macaroni. My little pet Phoebe would get creamed up over this, bless her and her food porn
Lovely bar on the ground floor of this hotel in Hoxton. There is a fireplace which is lush, but you have to either get in there early to grab the spot or hover with intent :). Good selection of wines and beers, so nice bar food I am told. Up by the bar it gets really busy as folk tend to congregate there to get easy access to the bar. However on the left and right hand side of the entrance, it is has a lounge/living room feel, so this is the spot for a quiet drink with friends or loved ones. Definitely recommended. The bedrooms are interesting too.

Cocktails, who doesn’t love them? The stirring, shaking and tasting, the smoke and mirrors, the classic spirits licked into shape with a sugar cubes doused in angostura bitters for example, or gussied up with sweet maraschino liqueurs. There are bars up and down London that will make you something splendid for a tenner or so, but recreating the drink at home is often easier said than done.
The coolest among us will know The Hoxton Hotel well; it is trendy HQ and night after night is a pumping party with seemingly only beautiful people in attendance dressed far better than I could ever hope. It is the place to be 7 days a week for a night of debauchery. By day though, it is a different story as, complete with roaring open fire and all, it transforms into a serene escape from the stresses of the city. It is this draw that attracted me to Hoxton Grill.
Located in the lobby of the Hoxton Hotel, Hoxton Grill is the resident kitchen of the hotel serving up an American brasserie inspired menu of home comforts which always go down well.
Today's order of a bacon sandwich and pancakes with berry compote & whipped cream was straightforward but by no means were expectations lower - it was Saturday breakfast after all and I fully intended on getting the weekend going on the right foot.
The bacon sarnie was top notch. Packed to the rim with a pig's worth of bacon and served between two thick slices of granary brown bread, it was a textbook bacon sandwich. Pancakes were also awesome - so fluffy and light, it was like eating clouds whereas the compote and whipped cream should satisfy most people's taste.
So if you're in need of an escape from the City, a visit to the Hoxton Hotel and the Hoxton Grill will do you well. Peaceful, relaxed and warm, it provides a great base to watch the day pass you by and the party at night come to you.

I'd heard an awful lot about Hoxton Grill but hadn't ever made it over to give it a sample myself. Offering American comfort food served in an equally comfortable American diner setting, Hoxton Grill is the perfect place to spend an evening with friends.
We skipped starters and went straight into mains this time, and I uncharacteristically chose a vegetarian option of the avocado and hallomi burger. This was served on a brioche bun with a spicy sauce and was jam packed with both avo and cheese. The friends I was with sampled the mac and cheese (creamy and delicious) to the bacon and blue cheese burger (tasty but filling), with chips and sweet potato wedges on the side.
For pudding, I'd been recommended the brownie as "the best brownie I've ever tasted" by a friend, and while I probably wouldn't go that far (my brownie standards are exceptionally high) it was a solid 8/10 brownie. Others tried the smores which looked sensational and the lime brulee which was tangy and creamy all at the same time.
The cocktails were great, if a little small for their £9 price tag but I had to try the pineapple daquiri four times, just to make sure I liked it. Answer - I did, obviously. The bill came to around £35 per head with drinks, unless you went a bit nuts and had a few more than a couple, like I did.
All in all, Hoxton Grill is such a nice place to hang out with friends and eat delicious food that won't cost a fortune. It's close to Old Street and Shoreditch High Street Stations meaning it's pretty accessible too, and the staff were really friendly and attentive.
Excellent food and nice decor! Very happy with the friendly and attentive service.
The starters of chicken wings and shrimp are amazing (nachos are good too). For main I ordered a steak, and was impressed at the flavour that was packed into it! Dessert was a chocolate brownie with ice cream, which was scrumptious! Recommended!

Burger craving satisfied. And how! The Hoxton Grill has come up in conversation a number of times in the last few months, but I never got around to going to it somehow, so when it was suggested as a probable dinner destination for an impromptu catch up with peeps from my previous workplace, I was thrilled. A full-on American diner, with plenty of chic thrown in. Sprawling spacious interiors, classy red booth seats, candles, and a menu promising plenty of cheese & grease. What’s not to love? Calamari rings, chicken wings, corn fritters at Hoxton Grill We started off with a platter of calamari rings, corn fritters and chicken wings. I have to admit I’m a little fussy about my calamari rings – they need to be perfectly crisp and need to crunch softly when I first bite into them. There’s only one place I’ve been to so far that’s done them just the way I love them. The Hoxton isn’t it, but the garlic mayonnaise more than made up for any batter failings.
How many times I've strolled past the Hoxton Hotel while out and about in Shoreditch and have always wondered what it would be like to stay at this 'luxury budget urban lodge'. The Hoxton Hotel has enlisted three designers to each give one of the rooms a
It's a nice contrast to the forced over-mateyness which blights so many of the areas eating spots.
A great place to go with friends- not so much with a date (only because it's so loud it will eventually become too awkward to say "what?!" again).
Other than the loud, busy atmosphere (which is both a good and bad thing), the food is delicious. Once you tell the waiter about any food allergy you have, a chef will be sent to your table to go over the menu with you too. The food is absolutely great. I got the lentil, sweet potato and bacon salad while my boyfriend took the sea bass and mozzarella and kale balls. We both loved the meal. Hear all the burgers and steaks are great too. What really caught my eye was the bacon Mac n cheese but unfortunately couldn't order that.
Definitely recommend this place!
Top notch all round. Not fully on board with the swanky Shoreditch hotel vibe but as a restaurant this place is a banger.
Popcorn shrimp was ?
Pornstar Martini was ?
Bacon & Blue Cheese Burger was ?
Decent reports on the steak.
And for all those that endure others' criticism for ordering a salad, it's well worth it because that's ?? too - huge slices of bacon that are practically gammon.
You should go
Great for food especially dinner and brunch! very nice lounge in winter with small fireplace, workspace and big sofa BUT teas and other hot drinks is just not their strength!
Booked a last minute table on a Friday evening for a bite to eat before a night out, and the food was pretty decent.
Burgers and steaks were available for between £11-£15. Cocktails were really good, priced at around £8-£9.
The only thing that was a little pricey - a shot of Jagermeister (no Red Bull) for £8 - nice £40 addition for the 5 of us!
The atmosphere at Hoxton grill is great, and they have a really nice outdoor seating area, with friendly staff. The restaurant is massive and always busy with a nice hustle and is very cheerful.
The food is good, but nothing to write home about. It's definitely satisfying, but not something you remember for years to come. Hoxton Grill is where you go for a casual medium budget lunch on a random day where you just feel like going out.
You are up to a celebration with good food and drinks, you would like to fee the vibe for a hip place, and why not get closer to Eastern London - what might follow during the night after the fine dining and a few drinks might be cool around the district. Reserve the place and have no worries, as the Hoxton Grill is designed for such an occasion.
Cajun shrimp is usually flattered and it is worth the buzz. The menu has an American style, so the standard burger & steak lover will love the options and if you are decisive, the bites and boards might just cheer you up: nachos, humus and lamb sliders will compete with the chargrill in such a rivalry.
it might be quite crowded as the place goes around getting more popular- go there when you are into socializing on a Friday night. reasonable prices considering the standard for London. Cheers!
Visited the Horton grill on a really horrible wet evening but when we got there it was a really nice place to go into -very stylish and a nice busy atmosphere. We had a really nice meal and liked all the extra touches like photos in the corridor and the fact that it is also a hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice meal in shore ditch .

Hoxton Grill is a part of the Hoxton Hotel which is where I was put up a few months back when I was in London for work. The first few words that comes to my mind when I think of the restaurant/ bar are : swanky, posh, well maintained, friendly and good looking waiters.
The couches are really big and comfortable and seems like this place is quite popular amongst the London Yuppies as its never empty and always buzzing. I opted for a cheese burger (yeah safe but always a winner) which was absolutely delicious and HUGE, but guess what? I managed to demolish that big bad boy all by myself! The burger came along with fries and salad as usual. I have to say something about the fries here because I am a very fussy fry eater but the chefs at Hoxton just nailed it - it was not too thin, neither too fat but just right and very crispy (melts in your mouth). The drinks were reasonably priced too, 4.50 for a Corona is not bad at all I say. The waiters were rather friendly and sweet, he even remembered me the next day when I went to collect my bags and addressed me with my name (I was really touched because my name is not the easiest in the world).
Verdict : Definitely going back again when I am in Shoreditch!
Firstly the place is really nice, quit posh but there is a lot of space and the staff is kind.
You can go there for dinner or just to have a drink. The cocktails are good and the prices are OK.
The food is truly good especially the meat on the other hand I have been a little bit disappointed by the deserts... I was really expecting something better, particularly in this place...
It's better to make a reservation to be sure to have a table.
Very very great... just a little bit too noisy ! But I loved the atmosphere, waiters and waitresses very friendly and very attentive ! Pumpkin risotto is amazing, Cesar chicken salad too and mojitos just perfect ! Reasonable prices for the food but a little bit expensive for cocktails but you have to try them at least one time, it's worth it !
Really good to go with friends and have a lot of fun !
I came for the steak and it was just fine, I expected a bit more. Some parts had some nerves and some parts were very tasty and tender. That’s why I have some mixed feelings about the quality of the meat.
Apart from that, I tried the cheeseburger, which was quite good, and a delicious Bloody Mary.
The staff was wonderful: friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere of the place is very cool. From my point of view it is a bit dark, so we sat down in a sort of indoor terrace, which was very bright.
Overall, cool experience!
A grill restaurant with a beautiful (darker) ambience. For people of a more advanced age, this could lead to problems reading the menu, but I personally like it a lot!
The food selection is clear and very good. I had the "Flat Iron Steak", which was really excellently prepared. The side dish is French fries.
One star off for the 45 minute wait until we were allowed to pay after dining. I went to the staff twice to ask for it. In the end, I went to the front counter and insisted. A bit of a shame, as I had the feeling that they wanted to keep the guests in the restaurant, as otherwise it would have been empty.
Nevertheless, I will gladly come again and enjoy the culinary delights.
Great place to work from, it has a nice fireplace, a few tables around and enough charging areas for laptops or mobile phones. Free wifi also.
During the week is very busy, but ok during the weekend, would recommend
My group had the best time! Great atmosphere, wonderful food and the service was phenomenal. A big thanks to Jake as well, for making our experience such an enjoyable one.
One of the best places for TGIF, breakfast, lunch and dinners. Great food, high quality. The place is very pleasant and comfortable. Different area of sitting. It's recommended to book in advance for dinner and dinner weekend. On Friday night the place if full, and the lobby area transferring into a bar/club with dancing music and cocktails bar.
Enjoy :)
This place is always buzzing and the food here is incredible and somehow not expensive.
I've had the eggs benedict with salmon (the royale) every day for three days. It's so good!
Its also a great place to get work done during the day. Stacks of seating and heaps of power outlets. Just get here early to get a spot as it fills up fast.
Like this place a lot.
If you need a place other than a cafe where you can just sit in the lounge, get on with your work on your laptop and have some food, you’d love this hotel / restaurant! I prefer to sit here from 12-5, eat lunch and work on my laptop. It does get busier and louder after 5pm, however.
The mushroom pie is really good because it tastes like a risotto. The honey glazed chicken bites are an amazing appetiser that you could nibble on while working. The cheeseburger is good, but nothing special so I wouldn’t re-order. The hot chocolate is DIVINE!
Very nice breakfast the bacon was a bit thick but that's all down to personal preference although it was very nice and the teapot was lovely perfect size for one person
Me and three friends came here on a Saturday for a late lunch/drinks catch-up. We were seated in booth style seating, which was very comfortable and more than enough space for the four of us. We all had burgers (3 beef, 1 veggie). The beef burger was apparently delicious, juicy and really flavoursome! The veggie burgie was one of the better i have had, but was just your standard veggie patty. I liked that it was crispy though, as all too often veggie patties are soft and soggy (warning-do not get the veggie burger if you do not like Quinoa!). 3 of us had the french fries - which were very nice. Nothing spectacular, but nice crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside skinny fries! One person had the sweet potato wedgies which they said were perfectly cooked! We also got to mains to share in the middle. The chicken, which was pwrfectly cooked, and the 'gravy' was tangy but slightly rich after a while. We also had the macaroni cheese which is the reason i keep coming back here time and time again! It's ridiculously cheesy and perfectly cooked-delicious.
The pornstar martinis were bot tge best- but more than passable and the wine selction is very good!
The service was slightly slow, and hard to get their attention, but it was very busy so that was to be expected. The bill overall.came.to £200 which is very reasonable-considering all of the alcohol we had and the quality of the food!
Overall-another fantastic visit to The Hoxtob Grill!
Food and drinks were great. A little loud and I was confused how to order since there seemed to only be one server in the whole place, but otherwise nice! Also not a bad place to get some work done.
Really nice and attentive service during lunch. Very friendly staff. Only thing is my fried chicken sandwich felt and looked partially undercook when chewing but I was ensured it was the texture of the meat from the chicken thigh and they measure the temperature of every chicken with a thermometer. If that's a common feedback that they had an answer for me right away I'd suggest changing to chicken breast for better taste. Aside from that all good.
Located at the Hoxton Shoreditch’s lobby.
Great atmosphere and vibes. We’ll designed.
Crowded on the weekends. Great place to mingle.
Serve all kinds of alcoholic beverages.
The food was ok but not worth value.
Great workspace to come with your laptop during the days.
