First time trying Hoppers and it won't be the last. This place is a great introduction to Sri Lankan food. The food was outstanding and the beef fry was the star of the dinner. The mutton rolls were the best we've ever had. It would have been nice if the kothu came with a gravy and some chutneys with the string hoppers instead of charging for every little thing. The drinks were very nice and different from your average cocktails. The service was great and very attentive. We'd definitely be going back with family and friends. Highly recommended this restaurant.

Flavoured and full of spices. If you like Indian food, you're sure to like Sri Lankan cuisine. This centeal location is ideal while or after a little shopping do :)

Very delicious, comforting food. Service was attentive and super friendly. We ordered two rice dishes, lentil & chicken. Both were excellent though I wish there had been more chicken! Imo a la carte is the way to go. It's cheaper and you have more choice. No need to go all out unless you really want to.

We had a great lunch here. The chicken nuggets are amazing, and the prawn curry was delicious. For dessert we had the pudding, which was lovely.

I’ve never had Sri Lankan food before, but I can confidently say that I am fully on board after this meal. The bone marrow varuval and roti, mutton rolls and chicken bites were stand outs. The rice dishes looked good too but will have to save those for next time. Highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time, it books up!

We came in for dinner on a Thursday - reservations are really hard to come by on the day of, so definitely recommend booking in advance. 30 minutes after opting for the day, the restaurant is already quite full! We ordered watermelon soda, idli sambar, pods dosa with tomato chutney, devilled paneer and aubergine kari with rice. The food is absolutely delicious and flavorful! It definitely tastes authentic and reminds me of home. The portion sizes are truly for just one person so I recommend ordered multiple mains if you’re hungry.

Very interesting and tasty Sri-Lankan food. Somewhat hot, but the drinks take it down a bit. The service is great. The atmosphere is loudish. A great place to go in a group in order to be able to enjoy as many dishes as possible.

Great flavours but little proteins in the meals. The food is spicy but not too bad and you can still feel the flavours. Great service as well :)

Fantastic Sri-Laken restaurant with rich tasting curries. It looks like small portion but it’s very filling. I’d recommend their lamb kari and black pork kari with roti or rice. Average price £22/ person. The dining environment was nice, spacious and not too loud.

Very cute restaurant just couple of minutes from busy Oxford Street area, closer to Bond street. Food was delicious, spicy and full of flavours. The ambient very nice too. We had black pork Kari, as well as vegetables ones with a couple of hoppers and delicious and crispy dosa. Be aware that portions are quite small, we had an early lunch so was perfect for us, however if for late lunch/dinner I would suggest some more main plates.

I absolutely loved Hoppers. We got both the chicken kari and lamb kari, and whilst both were beautiful and flavourful the chicken really stood out! We also got two hoppers and two portions of rice. Loved eating all the dishes with the hoppers, Now knowing what I know we would have gotten one hopper each and ditched the rice altogether. We also got the beef rib fry which was interestingly tasty. My least favourite was the lamb kothu roti, but that might have been a personal preference as my sisters seemed to Enjoy it. It felt too bready (with the roti) and I wasn't too big on the flavour. We tried two of their lassis. Their spiced pineapple lassi, a more refreshing tropical tasting lassi and their wattalapam lassi. Our server was incredibly helpful when ordering (Attu, I think). We were greeted right away on entry as walk-ins on a Thursday. We were told the wait would be 45 minutes but actually spent only 25 minutes waiting. The ambience (lighting/setting) in this place was lovely, it was very loud but that was mostly due to a large amount of men dining after work. This was my first time trying Sri Lankan food and hopefully not the last. I will definitely be recommending!

We were lucky enough to be seated next to a the window. The quality and attention of service was superb as well as the food. Although the restaurant was full by the time we finished our meal, the location per se is very quiet and the atmosphere within the restaurant is calm and welcome. I had never been in Hoppers before, but I will definitely come back.

I give 5 stars for the food. Amazing. The management of time given to customers is poor. We had our reservation at 19.45, we had drinks then starters, started eating the mains at 8.45 and 2 staff people around 9.15 and again at 9.25 came to tell us to leave because the table was booked at 9.30. Literally we still had food in the plates. PLEASE ALLOW MORE TIME FOR GROUPS. You cant just sit and eat without talking to the people you went to eat with.

Lovely place with amazing food. I was not familiar with Sri Lankan cuisine before and this was just 10/10 first experience. Feast for your taste buds, variety of exotic food and reasonable prices. Oh and staff is super friendly! Highly recommend.
