We went to Carnaby Street restaurant for lunch today. It was fabulous. The starters were delicious - chicken satay, pork skewers & Thai sausage. We loved them all. Then we had Drunken noodles & Yellow Curry Noodle soup. Both yummy. The staff were very friendly and knowledge. A well deserved 5 stars

Absolutely delicious and authentic Thai food, very hard to find in London, it's only taken me 7 years to find this place. It's a little crammed when busy and the stools hurt your bum after about 20minutes but the food and service were awesome! šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹

Delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered the flat noodles, yellow curry and basil chicken. All were very tasty, though the basil chicken was very different from the minced version (pad krapow gai) I was expecting! The meal was perfectly complemented by some cold Chang beer.

Apparently I am a bit behind the game as in trendy Shoreditch (well at least too trendy for me) you can be happy slash sad slash angry all at the same time. Well, at least the people around here talk like this. Ā Reminds me of my twitter speak friend. Ā In any case, with such an amalgamation of emotion, quicksilver bouts of rage slash hungry (I thought the word for this was hangry), I began to have doubts about whether I really should be in the area. Ā As Iā€™m not trendy slash cool. Ā I would not like to end up forgotten slash hungry. Ā That might be sad slash depressed.

Very nice and cousy place to eat Thai food where the usual known are available from Pad Thai to several others. Mango with sticky rice was not bad but the coconut cream and crunchy topping was missing. Service was ok.

We chose Thai to end an enormous day. We had to ask twice to chance tables because of the cold near the door. But the food was great and spicy just like Thai food needs to be

My friend brought me here - it's a small restaurant with several tables, nice & friendly service and tasty food:) We ordered the red curry with vegetables and tofu - spicy as it should be, don't forget the rice! I had the fried noodles with veggies and tofu (with sweet soya sauce) - tasty, but a bit too greasy in my opinion. Top everything off with some Chang beer - lovely! Pricewise - most main dishes vary from 7 to 12Ā£. Do go here if you like thai food:)

Rosaā€™s Thai Cafe has been extremely successful and now has several branches over London. I visited the cafe just off of Brick Lane at lunch time ā€“ definitely recommend getting there at 12.30 or earlier as it gets busy and the restaurant is pretty small. As expected, there is a decent choice of food from thai curries and pad thai to rice dishes, noddles and salads:

You may have spotted Rosaā€™s CafĆ© in the midst of Spitalfields and bustling streets of Brick Lane. The menu has a great selection of starters, rice, noodles, spaghetti, soup noodles and even wraps.
A must have at Thai places is ice Thai Tea I can drink gallons of the stuff.Ā

A rounded dome shape filled three-quarters of my plate with mainly the white rice and some brown. A nice mixture of chop vegetables, cucumbers, broccoli, cucumber and peas in the pods lay on top of my breaded chicken breast. The surrounding sauce is a very thin like broth gravy flavoured with plenty of salt and black ground pepper and oyster sauce. An interesting dish similar to Japanese katsu with a Thai twist.

I first read about this restaurant in time out's cheap eats book and 4 of us went there on a Sunday night. It was packed but they managed to squeeze us on the end of another table then they moved us when another table became available. The food was lovely I had a chicken red curry which wasn't on the menu but what I asked for, one of us had the same as me another had stir fry chilli beef and another asked for the waitress to surprise him. We also ordered pad Thai chicken noodles and Thai pork Jasmine rice which was more than enough for four people to share. As I mentioned I found this in a cheap eats book so was a little surprised when the bill came up at Ā£99 but when I read through the bill Ā£28 was on drinks and there was a 10% service charge so roughly Ā£60 or Ā£15 a head seemed fair considering we ate well and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would definitely be returning.

Came without a reservation and the were quite busy. But had a table for seven downstairs. Low lighting and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were a bit cold initially but warmed up throughout the night. The food was very good. Everyone in our party enjoyed. The unfried springrolls were especially great. Price wise it was just about okay. They are however not a baby friendly restaurant, but tried their best. I would eat here again, but for relaxed evening with friends and some wine. Their drinks menu was quite weak. Overall I would rate it 7/10 and well worth checking out. Not quite up to the Thai standards when I just went, but good enough.

Gai Hor Bai Teay - Chicken marinated in garlic and coriander root and pepper wrapped in pandan leaves. The chicken was overcooked and tough, like chewing on leather, very disappointing. I know you're not supposed to eat the pandan leaves but I actually always find them really tasty, in this case significantly more tasty than the chicken. Gaeh Yang - Char-grilled rack of lamb served with spicy dry chilli sauce and cooled steamed vegetables. The lamb was another story, well marinated, smoky and nicely pink in the middle, a really tasty piece of meat. The accompanying sauce was well balanced between sweet and chilli. The vegetables were mediocre and cold, they had the life cooked out of them and tasted as though they had been sitting warmed for hours.

Come here if : you need a quick spicy hit of authentic Thai or are angling for a reliable dinner option. I'm a sucker for Thai food. Often claiming it's a healthy option, I'll quite happily drag people along to Rosa's whenever I'm nearby. Despite the extensive menu here, I always get menu tourettes in Thai restaurants. This goes double for starters, no matter how many times I think about the Poo Nim Thai Herb (Deep-fried soft shell crab topped with Thai herbs, shallots and spicy fresh chilli sauce) and it's chewy salty fresh goodness, I end up with their, admittedly excellent, fried and fresh spring rolls.

I found this restaurant reccommended by a friend, she said she always comes here whenever she's in London, tried the Tom Yum soup and spicy spaghetti, both the Rosa's special, both of them tasted incredible, the table beside us ordered the pineapple fried rice which seemed amazing as well! The tom yum soup is definitely one of the best ive ever eaten hands down ????????

Rosa's is a gem in what is rapidly becoming a treasure chest of an area packed with precious stones. Ā It does the Thai standards really well - but where it stands out, for me, is on the slightly less common dishes like Black Pepper Venison. Ā Ideal for groups, ideal for a work lunch. Ā

Arriving before or around 12pm for a work lunch is ideal as she gets pretty busy pretty fast.

Incredible Thai cafe, worth the trek through spittafield market from the closest tube stop.Ā

I go out of my way to go to this incredible restaurant. It is a casual restaurant based on the outskirts of spittafield market next to a famous fish and chips place. I first had Rosa's in Westfield Stratford, after tasting the incredibly tasting Thai food I HAD to check out the original restaurant. And I wasn't disappointedĀ

The Menu was filled with all your thai favourites especially mine, namely thai with chili basil and chicken. This stir fry is my personal favourite and I can't get enough of it, especially at Rosa's. Its tasty, chilly and somewhat sweet, this confusing taste intrigues be with every bite. The Red curry chicken had the same effect on me. I was able to order all of the food extra spicy, just how I like it. The best part of the meal was the Thai Milk Ice tea which successfully alleviates the pain caused by the mouth numbing spice. A perfect Thai meal.Ā

The restaurant is cramped and small but once you sit down, there is nothing stopping you from eating an incredible thai meal. Actually, the only thing stopping you are the other customers, its usually incredibly busy but I promise you its worth the wait.

The best Prawn Pad thai that I have ever had. Fresh, tasty and utterly delicious.
I discovered Rosa's Thai during Taste of London and I was impressed by the quality so I decided to try the restaurant.

I Had Chicken Satay, Thai Calamari, Prawn Pad Thai and Green Tea Ice Cream: amazing.
Nothing was less than perfect andĀ  pretty cheap for the london restaurant scene.

The Halal: Itā€™s definitely worth rechecking every time you go as they tend to use different suppliers. The chicken has always been halal and most recently I was told that all the meat is now halal. I know this is definitely the case for their other branch in Westfield Stratford City.

The Place: This humble Thai cafe is ideally located opposite the All Saints flagship store on Hanbury street in Spitalfields which makes it a good pit stop after shopping, perusing the market on weekends or before a night out in Brick Lane. I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever seen it empty but itā€™s particularly busy on weekends so you can expect a wait. The restaurant is split over two levels and the interior is very basic but the priority here is the food! I also loved the witty t-shirts bearing Cockney rhyming slogans- very fitting given their first restaurant opened in East London.

The Food: I love Thai food and Rosaā€™s is my absolute favourite Thai in all of London! They even deliver locally if youā€™re too lazy to go out. The chicken satay is an essential starter. Itā€™s barbecued perfectly every time and the peanut sauce is delicious and addictive. I could eat it with anything.

The prawn tempura is another generous starter. Golden plump and crispy prawns without the greasiness you might expect from a deep fried dish.

In the curried dishes, I think the Pla Chu Chi or salmon red curry and the pumpkin red curry are A-MAZ-ING! Thereā€™s a perfect balance of sweet coconut and fiery chilli in the sauce. The green chicken curry is also very good but if youā€™re deciding between the two go for a Red!

Stir fried sirloin beef with vegetables and mushrooms in oyster sauce was tasty but didnā€™t stand out from the other dishes. The Pad Thai is always excellent. If youā€™re in the mood for seafood the spicy spaghetti has an abundance of shellfish and is a flavoursome choice not found in many other Thai establishments.

The Price: If you're eating out Ā£20 per person for a starter and main isn't bad per person but it's not exactly a cheap takeaway!

The Verdict: I donā€™t know if you can tell that I adore the food at Rosaā€™s so in my book it gets 5 stars- let me know what you think!

Rosa's serves authentic thai cuisine set in an informal cafe style diner. Ideal for a quick takeaway (about 10 minute wait) or to dine in with friends. The food is delicious with the stand out dish being the beef massoman and the rice.

We order some smaller dishes first, soft shell crab and the lamb kebabs. The soft shell crab had nice flavour and not greasy, the kebabs were tender but held their form well around the skewer and make sure you ask for the king prawn crackers to accompany.

For main we ordered the beef massoman curry with coconut rice and a king prawn pad thai. The rice was so soft and creamy yet all the individual kernels are still in tact, the mango sticky rice is also delicious. The beef massoman is smooth and full of flavour with a Ā nice amount of sauce, the beef also flavourful.Ā

The pad thai - prawns here are cooked really well. The pad thai is not oily in the slightest, the noodles are thick and juicy. Alternatively the lamb kebabs are tender yet hold their form well around the skewer and make sure you ask for the king prawn crackers to accompany.

The service is fair, they are a very busy restaurant with high turnover rate so don't expect to be waited on hand and foot, simply relax and wait for the food you will undoubtedly enjoy.

Whenever I move to a new neighbourhood, there's one thing I always do first: without fail, I find my go-to-restaurant before anything else. Something delicious. Something affordable. Something comforting yet tantalizing all at once. Luckily, I found Rosa's in my first week!Ā

A hole-in-the-wall, Rosa's is nicely nestled in Spitalfields, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the busy street life. It's close and cosy without feeling cramped. That being said, it's a popular spot, and lingering after your meal for dinner chat isn't exactly encouraged. If the pressure of waiting, hungry eyes is too much to handle, you can always get delivery! I have had Rosa's delivered, and it showed up piping hot and delicious as ever.Ā

I have been fortunate enough to travel throughout Thailand, and Rosa's green curry is the closest I've come to feeling like I'm still backpacking through Bangkok. Prepared with green aubergine and finely-sliced bamboo shoots, it offered a perfect crunch coupled with the creaminess of coconut milk! The Massaman curry is peanutty and velvety. The star of the menu is undoubtedly Rosa's Fried Rice, made with a delicious sweet sausage and a perfect bouquet of spices and herbs!Ā

If you're looking for a nice date, a place for friends, or your go-to-Thai-place, Rosa's is the place for you!

Absolutely loved my meal last night at Rosa's. The drunken noodles I'm going to have to get for lunch when I'm in the office as they were so moreish. Loved the green curry. It's very busy but the food came out fast and Tong looked after us so well. It was an absolute pleasure to be there. Thank you so much for helping us to end the evening on such a great note!

I went to have dinner with a friend at this tiny place. Itā€™s a very small place off Commercial street that has a few tables. We got a table when we arrived and ordered a soup each. We had sea food soup and they were very tasty. The Tom kha had a nice tangy spicy taste which I enjoyed a lot. The only regret was that the portions were a bit small. For dessert we had mango sticky rice and brownie. The mango sticky rice just perfect amount of sweet and was really a great way to finish. All in all, a good place for some Thai food. Make sure to try Tom kha soup and the mango sticky rice

Amazing! Very peaceful quiet atmosphere. The server was so kind, and frequently topped my tap water & understood when to come-over and take our orders as well remove our starter plates. Starters - we bought the veg rolls and chicken satay, came with delicious sauces. Honestly, nothin bad to say. Main - i got the green thai curry, rice is separate and has to be ordered as a side. Really flavourful, very light kick of spice, Iā€™m more into hot foods so more wouldve nice. Very filling, was able to take away my leftovers.

My 7 year old son and I ate here and really enjoyed it! My son had the Chicken Satay and I had the Red Curry (this is a bit spicy). Both recommendations came from our server Sam. Sam took care of us. The service was super fast and the food was super fresh. Highly recommend eating here. Also, we ordered a take away (to go order) for the wife and she loved it.

Clean and quick service restaurant. No fuss. Tables close by and very comfy. Food is very high quality. Portion sizes maybe questionable. But the taste is hard to beat. One of the best Rosa's I've been to. Cash and cards accepted. Reservations preferred. The tom yum, the calamari were spot on and made really well. Staff are sweet too. However beer seems to be in short supply
