Mason was very cordial and helpful. The food was fantastic. If you want some authentic British meat pie, definitely the place to go what. We had a couple pints of ale. They were good but they weren't told us Americans have to have it cold. But overall great experience and I would definitely recommen
A brilliant local pub! We go regularly after work - there's always a great atmosphere, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the drinks are what you'd expect from a local. When the weather is good, the terrace is a great hidden gem if you don't want to stand on the pavement. I have made bookings f
Visiting from Canada and 10/10 recommend eating and drinking here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating making excellent suggestions for drink and food. The atmosphere is fun and lively. The pies are absolutely phenomenal! Also recommend the Rekorderlig strawberry lime cider!
One of the greatest pubs in London village. A firm favourite should we go to watch the rugby. The food is great and the beer is plentiful! The choices are great and there is always a good atmosphere with the staff. Well worth a visit. Great pub. Takes American Express.
Such a lovely pub, tucked in the peaceful streets behind The Old Vic. We went for Pieminster pies, and stayed for the atmosphere! Top tip: one of the bar tenders can do card tricks! Really nice ambience, so chilled and laid back. Would definitely recommend!!!
Great pub with an excellent selection of ales. Food (especially the pies) is very good and reasonably priced. Location is excellent, near to Waterloo and Hampton Hotel but in a quiet side street. The pub has a cool rooftop garden and the service is top notch!
We visited on a Sunday evening. Relaxed atmosphere with what I guess were locals as off the tourist trail, a great bonus. Brilliant real ales both cask and keg. Also tried one of their pie, peas, mash and gravy. Pie and peas good, but a disappointing smear of mash under the pie. Still went back for
Wonderful pub. Ambience cooking kindness .... Gentle
So a traditional English pub owned by an Aussie serving good beers to a trio from Australia/USA. Popped in for a couple of drinks and the place was welcoming and relaxing. Didn’t stay for a meal and so whilst the pie menu looked interesting I can’t comment. Would go back.
Was the first stop in London, since it was near the hotel. Rooftop seating was great, service was great, was especially kind to my kiddos. Pies were awesome and the Guinness was cold. Couldn't have asked for better.
