After having a bit of a ropey start to 2017 (AKA snoozing my alarm every day before work) I'm back to getting up in the morning to go to gym, planning out all my meals for the week AND I'm keeping to my blog posting schedule. I'm basically being an adult again. This week was a bit of quiet one for me but exactly what I needed to get back on track. So here's all the good and the bad from my week....WHAT'S HOT 1. I had read a few really interesting reviews about Ealing Park Tavern and since then it was on my wishlist. I just can’t believe I didn’t went any sooner, since I live less than 10m walking from there! As we had a friend over on Friday, we’ve decided it was time to go. Location wise it’s impossible to miss, as it’s on the main road to south ealing station.
Ever since I've read the reviews, I was really looking forward to a visit and I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint. Even though it's quite a big space, it was pretty much full on a friday night so we had to squeeze in a little table. As they also have a micro brewery, they have a good choice of beers, and for the stout lovers I recommend the birdie flipper. It was really good! For the food make sure you look at the specials of the day as you might discover some really nice options. Which is what I did. The chocolate mousse is really creamy and good!
Great pub. Excellent food and service. Lovely patio where live jazz standards were being performed. They brew their own beer. The burger, steak, and pasta were all very good.

I'm SO excited! One of my favourite local pubs closed months ago for a refurb by its new owners - and now it's reopened. I've been waiting (not very) patiently for months and I can confirm that Ealing Park Tavern is back and better than ever. I was invited to go and try out the new menu so headed down the day before New Years Eve with the boy. We started with drinks, as always. They've got a new cocktail menu and a friend of ours making the amazing cocktails there. I went for the porn star martini which was refreshing and the perfect balance of sharp, sweet and fruity with the shot of Prosecco.
Lovely place, nice food, service friendly but poor. This is close to home and well rated so we always want it to be good. We have had excellent meals here since it first opened up as one of the very first Gastro-pubs. The venue is great lovely old pub well kept in old style and typical decor, a few modernisations but nothing to ruin the homely London pub feel.
I think the menu needs a bit more variation it tends to be a bit samey.
The food is always of a good standard, all credit other chefs who clearly know their stuff. Well cooked classic pub/french cuisine, well proportioned servings.
The service isn't up to standard. They are all vey nice and friendly but everytime we go calamity and confusion is minutes away.
This is a lovely pub with an excellent restaurant. The atmosphere is pkeasant and service is good enough. I tend to get served by very young people who tend to make up in enthusiasm for what they lack in some skills.

Really nice place.
We stop for a lunch with my friend at sat on the back yard which was really nicely designed.
We had to pay an order in the bar which wasn’t super convenient but ok.
The food was very tasty and well priced.
I would prefer the burger to be medium as they didn’t ask but still was good.
I would recommend you to try it unless you are vegan as they have some animal trophies in the walls which is a character but outdated.
Service was polite and friendly and we didn’t wait much for the food so kudos there.
I have been to the Ealing Park Tavern over and over again and I have been delighted every single time. The food is delicious and they change the menu regularly. The prices are very decent for the quality and quantity. All the staff is always lovely, friendly and attentive to customers. Good selection of wines and pleasant atmosphere. The garden is wonderful for summertime to have a drink, watch games and have a sunny lunch. It’s just the best place in Ealing. I have been there for casual drinks, romantic dinners, post-run lunches, even organised a party there and it’s always been perfect. I love this place and will continue to go!

Had a really nice night here, enjoyed the delicious apple and pork 'pie of the day' with creamy mash and a mustard gravy. Great selection on the rest of the menu with the whole party enjoying their meals. Service was brilliant. Despite a not so classic Irish coffee, the server/manager had a good chat about their openness to opinion and the fact they want to develop and improve their offerings. Would recommend and look forward to returning!

Beautiful traditional building, impressive interior and a beer garden that has to be seen. Stuff animal heads on the walls aren't going to be everyone's taste but the beer garden with mini chalets makes up for it.
The most amazing roasts ever!!! Nice touches like bringing out the children's meals first so that they're not waiting as long.
Sadly our table had been subsumed by a shotgun wedding but once we had found a less noisy spot, we were looked after very well! The chicken pie was excellent and the sticky toffee pudding very decent. Because of the table mix up, the convivial and excellent barkeep was generous enough to give us the deserts for free. Facilities were excellent too. Will definitely return.
Was able to gamble for half off my drinks (apparently a Tuesday happy hour special) in a lovely atmosphere with nice staff. Didn't try the food.
Nice quaint gastro pub. Lots of stuffed animals. Very bright in this place. We ordered orange juice but was given squash. I queried this and was told they had run out of orange juice. They didn't even ask. Anyway, they did offer an alternative. Waiter that took our order was nice and pleasant. Portion was reasonable. Unusual decor. Nice atmosphere.
