Good was delicious, I had chicken kofte. The wine, which was recommended by the waiter, complimented the food well, tasted great and wasn’t the most expensive on the menu!
Lovely freshly charcoal grilled lamb and chicken shish nicely seasoned. Very juicy and well cooked. My husband had the mixed meat grill which he thoroughly enjoyed. Starters were lovely too! Nice to also see such and extensive dishes of fish including a mixed grill and fish stews. Will definitely return.

Très Bien! Portions généreuses! On a pris le set menu 1 avec 5 plats froids et 5 plats chauds (On en a eu 7 en fait). On a eu du mal à finir et c'était excellent! Ça vaut le prix!

I joined family here for a mid week dinner. They're regular visitors to Izgara and we got a warm welcome from the team on the floor. Service was friendly and the food was good. A vegetarian mousakka was delicious as was a simple dish of grilled salmon. The fish kebabs were huge. All in all a great local restaurant that does what it does very well indeed.
Being here on a monday when most of restaurants are closed. Nice and comfortable space. We had humous kavurma for entry, ali nazik (photo) & yogurtlu lamb shish. The humous is good but would choose without the lamb. The main dishes were both really well cooked. The difference is that the ali nazik includes aubergine and the lamb shish comes with croutons. Recommend a visit
A really great Turkish venue - been coming here at least once every two weeks for the last 6-7 years!!! The pirzola is lovely. Great staff. Recommend.

Fabulous restaurant serving food full of flavour in a restaurant close to Totteridge and Whetstone station. Staff are friendly and accommodating, plenty of choices for vegetarians like me! Opted for the veggie platter to start with (swapped the fish for olives) and for main course I went for the vegetable moussaka which was a big portion, I couldn't finish the rice. Definitely recommend, you will not be disappointed I will definitely return.
We ate here for dinner earlier this week and although I have dined in many a Turkish restaurants, Ive never dined in one like this. I got to experience the ambience of a great atmosphere and authentic turkish cuisine. Not only was it the real deal but it totally rocked. (Im not sure about the Raki which is an acquired taste) But the service was off the charts. Would I eat there again? Absolutely. Should you? The answer should be a ressounding yes.
Recommended by a friend so came here for lunch. Given complimentary bread and olives, which were very nice. Had the charcoaled chicken thighs with salad and rice, so damn tasty with their garlic and chilli sauces. Lovely place with nice seating and friendly, attentive staff

A late lunch was ours, It was our first visit at the restaurant however familiar with their menu as was ordering delivery previously. Very welcoming and good looking room, also has outside seating too.
We had soup, a hot starter and 2 sides!
Nice choices for mains and specials... also there is a set menu option. Lentil soup is the most popular soup you might find in a Turkish restaurant, I love it! Liver was our choice from starters, tasty and tender...
Surprisingly as most Turkish restaurants here we did not received a salad, but the classic chilli and yogurt sauces arrived with the liver... Wished we had the boulgour with the liver but to be fair I didn't asked. It arrived with the grilled vegetables which were tasty fresh off the grill.
As per dessert loved Helva made of semolina... is a traditional sweet often made in home and rarely found on restaurant menus... at least not in London!

We had a good time. The service was slow and the lentil soup not as flavoursome as normal. But overall a nice time and as usual great value for money.
