This spot is an excellent choice for a leisurely afternoon tea in the picturesque Kensington Park. The affordability of the menu pleasantly surprised us, and the scenic view was absolutely breathtaking. We highly recommend this place, particularly when the weather is lovely. It's a delightful oasis for enjoying a relaxing tea time amidst nature's beauty. I did taste better mini sandwiches and scones, but it was a nice experience since its the only afternoon I experienced that was outdoor.
This was a fantastic afternoon tea. The service was outstanding from our waiter Chris. His service was prompt and attention to detail was perfect. The tea itself was delicious. The portioning was just right. We had 4 different sandwiches, two scones and three different pieces of patisserie. The prices are very reasonable too. We would definitely visit again.
The sandwiches and pastries were delicious. The scones are magnificent. Fluffy and slightly warm. Tea was also good. Staff is friendly. The Pavillon it self is nothing special. It would feel cozier if the big room would be a little dressed up with plants or flowers. And I would avoid playing the same instrumental song on repeat.
We came here for my daughter’s first official afternoon tea. It was amazing and they did such a good job taking care of us. I enjoyed the venue, the tea, and the food. I highly recommend this place.
Our tea time at Kensington was enjoyable with a patio view of Princess Diana's Garden and the palace behind us. We chose to have the afternoon tea option for lunch. The 3 tier food that came with the vanilla chai that my wife and I both chose was filling and light at the same time. The finger sandwiches were delicious, the scones were a little dry but still tasty with the clotted cream and strawberry preserve that came along to spread on the scones. To finish it off the desserts were my favorite being the coffee/peanut butter chocolate pastries being the best in my opinion. The weather was great making my first time at this cafe fun and tasty
The table setting, the dishware, and the gorgeous plating makes for some great photo opps - it's just all so pretty! My biggest critique is that we visited August 2023 and it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit that day and there were no fans and no AC. It was unbearably hot in the tent and everyone around us was asking for water for the duration of our afternoon tea. Other than that, this is the only high tea I would recommend for any visitor to London just because of the proximity to my favorite royal residence, Kensington Palace.
We loved our experience at the Kensington Pavilion! We ordered high tea and loved the food (especially the perfectly fluffy scones with jam and clotted cream), the teas, and the lovely atmosphere of the palace gardens. The staff, especially our server, Masso, was very friendly and helpful and even brought us new flavors of tea to try on the house. I would totally recommend this place!
Had the pleasure of experiencing afternoon tea at the Kensington Pavilion, and it was nothing short of exquisite. The selection of teas was vast and flavorful, paired perfectly with an assortment of delicate pastries and sandwiches. The ambiance, with its refined decor, added to the overall charm of the experience. A delightful way to spend an afternoon in Kensington!
We booked this spot for afternoon tea. We share the afternoon tea food and then got tea for two. Nice little snack. The tea and food was delicious. Nice way to take little break from exploring.
Best place in London for afternoon tea with outdoor seating. The sandwiches were delicious and the Chai tea amazing!
This afternoon tea was truly a special moment for me and my son during our stay in London. The place is very nice and our server was great. My English is aproximate but he adviced us perfectly. He was also very classy and professional. The tea and platter was delicious. I highly recommend.
My parents and I had afternoon tea here (£38 pp) when we went to visit London. We go every year to the Noble tea house (High River - Alberta, Canada) so we wanted to experience it in London. It was good. The sandwiches were good, though a little on the dry side. The scones were my favorite, they were really good with the cream and jam. The desserts were good - the white cake was a tad too sweet for our liking though. It doesn't look like a lot of food but you feel full before you even move to the desserts. The different tea selections were also decent - you get to pick one and then a free refill (which could be a different tea). We tried the Palace Breakfast, the Earl Grey, green tea, vanilla chai and Relax ones. I think the Earl grey was the best. The ambiance is nice and quiet - we were initially on the patio but asked to move inside as it was starting to rain and they accommodated it no issues. It wasn't very busy when we went there but we still made reservations just in case.
The service was really good. Food arrived fast and the servers were friendly and attentive.
In our opinion the food at the Noble Tea House in High River was better (tastier) though.
Overall it was nice, and I'm glad we got to experience afternoon tea at a palace. How many people can say that? :)
We really enjoyed afternoon tea here on September 1st. Great food, great service and a lovely venue. The sweets on the tray were too sweet for us and we didn’t finish them - that was our only issue.
One of the best lunch and/or tea restaurants in London. Exceptional food and first class service. Highly recommended.

A friend and I had lunch in this beautiful restaurant recently and we both enjoyed it very much. The food was very good and served by a beautiful young woman who originally came from Scotland. The service was excellent. We sat outside as the weather was beautiful. The restaurant catered for vegetarians and vegans as well as carnivores.
