Brilliant food, wine and friendly staff. All those boring on about how expensive it is etc. should remember this is the heart of "theatreland" London where rents are stratospheric. We thought the huge antipasti was good value for £18 for 2 of us. We didn't need to eat anything else but we shared a pasta dish (£12.50) and it was so delicious we took the leftovers home. The Principe di Butera wine was excellent. Go there on a busy Fri or Sat night and enjoy the Sicilian vibe..it's fun! And very reasonably priced for central London.
I've just discovered this Sicilian restaurant by chance, and what a pleasant surprise!!!
The food was amazing and, speaking as a Sicilian, really authentic.
The staff were really inviting and kind to us, including the Manager, Luisa, who came to say hello to us and was really passionate about the food and making sure all her customers had a good experience.
I would really recommend it for the pasta and a good selection of Sicilian wine. We also had real Sicilian Cannoli for dessert which were AMAZING!!
A hidden gem behind the main drag, this was the whole package, fabulous food and lovely staff. Will definitely visit again when we are not on a pre theatre dash.
I had the pleasure of eating lunch here yesterday. My mother and i thoroughly enjoyed our 2 courses and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a delicious meal.
Fabulous time with the yummiest Sicilian food and hospitality ... a must visit in London
Friendly staff, good ambiance, great food, set menu is good value 😊
Had their pigs cheeks with pistachio pasta special. Fabulous dish, best I've had since eating in Pisa years ago.
Had lunch before the theatre yesterday, pasta & sardine dish was delicious, staff friendly and efficient. Great value for money too.
My friends and I stumbled on this restaurant one evening and decided to give it a try. Seen as I have Sicilian heritage I was, at first, hesitant to try this restaurant, but I was quickly proven wrong. The food is authentic, regional cuisine that I would find only in remote Sicilian villages. The staff are friendly and make you feel at ease and welcome. The wine and cocktail list is also extensive and satisfactory.
This is a great place for Aperitivo, for those who are after a pre-theatre menu or simply for those yearning to be in Sicily. I would recommend to family and friends!
Peter Morrell and his wife are transported to this beautiful island for the evening by the vibrant flavours of the food in this restaurant which offers authentic Sicilian cuisine. Enzo Oliveri is a chef with a wealth of experience and he is passionate about sharing his love for the food of his home, Sicily. I’ve met Enzo a couple of time before at events promoting Sicily including him overseeing a pop-up kitchen sponsored by the Italian Tourist Board.
Great value Sicilian food in the heart of London's theatre district. I enjoyed the pasta and meatballs and would happily visit again when in this part of town.
I think this place was okay. The service was fantastic, they were really nice and everything came out on time. The atmosphere is also great, and I enjoyed our time there.
The food, unfortunately, lacked salt and seasoning. I'm not sure what happened but we had to add a lot of salt, pepper and parmesan for the meal to taste well, but it was still not enough, the food just lacked flavour. The portions were great for the price though.
Absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming ambiance set the tone for a memorable evening. The menu offered a fantastic array of dishes, each a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making our dining experience truly exceptional. We'll be returning for sure.
A lovely little restaurant serving good quality Italian fare- excellent choice pre-theatre (especially the Harold Pinter theatre directly opposite!!)
This restaurant is a hidden treasure. From the moment you walk in, you're enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is a fusion of flavors, with each dish carefully crafted. The attentive staff ensures your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.
Found this place online as it is located near Her Majesty's Theatre and was very pleasantly surprised. Had a lovely pre-theatre dinner last night. Food was delicious, fabulous wine and friendly staff. Its run by a Sicilian family and there were Italians dining there which is always a good sign! Would highly recommend.
Excellent little place particularly if going to the Harold Pinter theatre opposite. Great atmosphere food and service. Popped back at the interval for more reasonable wine and a pudding!
Tried this for the first time. We had penne pesto pasta will besil and focaccia and loved it. Would really recommend it. The prices are reasonable especially with it being in Piccadilly Circus.
Such a wonderful place it is!
Ambiance is simple and cute.
We were looking for a good place to eat on a busy 31st December eve and found this place.
We didn’t have reservations still they accommodated us.
The service was good.
Food was super tasty.
Though I forgot the names but we have ordered a potato starter and a pasta.
Both were delicious.
Should give a special mention to the washrooms as they were sparking clean.
They made a happy New Year’s Eve even more happier.
Absolutely great. We've probably seen these dishes on other menus but these were obviously very fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked. Between 3 of us we had 2 starters, 3 mains and 2 desserts. 2 wines, 2 beers and a cola. £131. Very good value. We've been before and we will go again. Highly recommended.
It was very lucky to find this place. Clean premises. Warm and cosy inside. Simple but a well thought interior. Well done. Food well prepared and fresh ingredients used.
